  1. Just found out that Burak Yilmaz had a release clause of only 5million Euro's...wow. What a bargain considering his last season! I'm confident that he would have had a great start to his Premier League career if he came over here. Not quite Papiss Cisse, but more like Jelavic.
  2. AHAHAHAHA, MANCHESTER CITY LOST TO AL HILAL. :3
  3. Who are you to base whether someone's opinion is based on 'stupid' logic or not?
  4. I wanted him to succeed here more than almost any other player we've had in our youth ranks in the last decade. I will now not wish him luck, and hope he fails miserably.
  5. So will this now still go to the F.A. ? Will they give their own opinion on things, and if they personally find him guilty, possibly give him a lengthy ban? Or is this the end of it?
  6. ahahahaha. sorry if this makes me sound crazy, but I just literally spontaneously laughed out loud at the fact that we've actually signed Eden Hazard, one of the world's most sought after players. looking forward to seeing him this pre-season.
  7. I'll try and find the source again as I can't remember where I read it, but I saw on some German site that Schalke want to take him on loan.
  8. I don't think we need to worry about who will play left-back as I'm sure Oscar can play there if we sign him.
  9. Is there even a single quote from anyone within Chelsea or Marseille who's actually linked us with this guy? O.o Or was this a story which made its way into The Sun or something, then had other websites copy the same thing, and then let the rumour spread?
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. These are actually pretty accurate! :')
  11. Wow. Arsenal have decided not to sign M'Vila after agreeing everything. Any theories why?
  12. I think Moutinho played out wide for Portugal a few times during Euro 2012. I agree. Bolding words makes everything seem more manly.
  13. Jesus Christ. If we don't get Hulk, Oscar isn't an alternative to play wide on the right That's like saying "oh, we can't sign Robben, so let's buy Moutinho to play on the wing." COMMON SENSE PEOPLE! We'd been chasing Modric for a season for a reason. Our board hasn't just magically forgotten that central midfield needs reinforced. Oh oh oh, but MAYBE, since Hulk is so strong, Hulk will be used as an Essien-type box-to-box player with Oscar on the wing ?!?!?! (Yes, sarcasm.)
  14. I'm sorry, but John Terry's lawyer isn't as good as I expected. He keeps on fking up. "Prosecutor says there's 'profound irony' that mag (?) is asked to discount lip reader evidence then rely on Cole saying he 'saw' what Ferdinand said. Prosecution lip readers watched television reply. Cole 'saw' what Ferdinand said from 25 yards away in a game."
  15. I think he does deserve credit actually. Without him being such a crap manager with us and benching Lampard, as one example, I doubt Lampard would have felt frustrated and like he had something to prove in the games vs. Napoli (home), both Barcelona games and the Bayern final, where I personally believe he played outstanding.
  16. Jovetic is either staying or going to Juventus. He will simply not be anywhere else next season. There is no longer a genuine interest from us in him as he wouldn't fit our new system at all, and he's one of Juve's top targets. I wish the British media actually reported stories from Serie A, Bundesliga etc. properly so people understood each transfer more.
  17. Terry's lawyer has apparently just made a giant cock-up.
  18. So what do we think? Will John Terry be GUILTY or INNOCENT?
  19. 100% agree. You can't just have attack, attack, attack down the flanks. I think Ramires is superb on the right hand side, and is lethal whenever we counter-attack. Dropping him is disrespectful too after that lovely goal vs. Barcelona which put us through to the final! His finishing has also improved so much now. Whenever he breaks away from the last defender, I expect him to score, and he usually does now.
  20. I'm actually really surprised with how well Cole is handling this. I also love the fact that he's answering like a man with confidence with all this "don't put words in my mouth!" and "you're the one who brought it up!" etc. Good for him.
  21. While true on a level, we have a bad bunch among our fan-base too. Example: The huge noise some of our fans made during the minute silence in the F.A. Cup.
  22. I agree (for the most part. Not all fans are the same). There's a difference between being a passionate fan and being an abusive fan.
  23. I'm so fucking excited about this, and as it's become quite known on here, I don't approve of most of our transfers! If he can be molded into a deeper player, there's nothing stopping him from becoming Pirlo-esque. He has such a cool head, and the most impressive thing about him, is his sublime understanding of the game.
  24. On what grounds do you base this alleged idiocy of mine?
