Either it's a flat back 4 with Azpi on the right wing so that he and Ivan can stop Asamoah (makes sense), or Ivan is playing as a centre-back, Azpi as a right back, our midfield is narrow, and we'll get torn apart.
meheheheheheh. Really don't know what's going on here. I doubt we'll be playing a False 9 tonight, but if we do it'd be interesting. This is how RDM pisses me off sooo much though. He puts out full-strength teams vs. Reading, Nord(whoever) and so-on usually, then puts out a weak team against the likes of West Brom (who were 5th in the table), and then considers such a big experiment in a match like this!? All I know is, I'm going to need some alcohol before and during this match.
Arrgrghghghgh!!! I just love how this guy plays! He's one of those players who just gets the ball away from the opposition - regardless of anything else. He probably concedes a few corners which he doesn't need to, but I believe he's only 18! I rate him roughly the same, maybe a bit higher, than Varane at the moment.
I've only seen glimpses of him, but maybe hardcore followers of Ligue 1 could add some input towards this guy - but 18 year old centre-back Kurt Zouma. Is he good? From what I've seen of him I'd love for us to get him and give him a Phil Jones type role. Slowly but surely integrate him into our first team and use him as rotation. He looks like he could be a good threat from set pieces also. He looks around Terry's height. Maybe slightly taller.
Just a thought - If we were to sign Falcao, and then he loses his finishing boots and can't find the net for a while... what else, if anything, does he offer on the pitch that our players can use as a strength?
In an interview after the West Brom game, apparently he said something along the lines of - "I'll need to consider changes and other tactics." ... WHAT!? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING THAT BEFORE, AFTER AND DURING EVERY GAME. THIS ISN'T THE SUNDAY LEAGUE! This just backs up the notion that he doesn't have a 'plan' at all I guess. He's decided who he wants to play, regardless of form or what happens in training, and yet he's still hailed as a 'great' manager by many on here. He's a lovely guy, no doubt. But that doesn't cut it. Yes, he won the Champions League.. but how? By choosing the first 11, and then honestly, it looks as simple as telling them: "Listen to Drogba. He'll tell you what to do. Play the sort of game you want to try and get the win." It worked. But that doesn't make him some mastermind genius.
Can someone please explain to me the hype surrounding Zaha? What's special about him? What does he do which makes people Ooo and Awe? I don't see it really.
Wait, what? How the hell did Manchester City get to the top of the league? I've missed something obviously. They've been playing shit all season. I guess the difference is they have prolific strikers.
Does anyone on here have connections to any gangs or mobs/mafia etc? If so, put a hit out on Torres please, as we all know that even after this game, he'll keep on starting games.
I bloody love this guy. Still haven't decided on his best position though! He looks good on the wings, good as a number 10, good as a central midfielder. He can do it all! I'd love to see him take up a Dembele role with us personally. A fantastic utility player. I'd enjoy seeing him trying out a box-to-box role sometime. If he works on his tackling and interceptions that could work a treat.
