Then why is he playing in the double-pivot if he's not to offer something defensively? He's not being put in the double pivot to score goals.
-
That he offers nothing defensively.

lol. hope no one quotes the last post of mine.

Lampard simply cannot be starting anymore. I'm sorry. I thought he'd be good for the 'smaller' teams, but he offers nothing defensively, and whenever he plays, Mikel usually plays below-par. Which Ramires started instead.

A bit better there

And who were those people saying Norwich City aren't a threat? That this isn't a big game? smh. It makes me sick how certain members (who I won't mention) underrate and disrespect every team who isn't fighting for the title.

He. Doesn't. Have. Enough. Confidence. Do you know why? Because he's never played for a top club as long as he has for Chelsea. He's not used to being at the top of the table. He knows that every slip up with us will be reported extensively, while with Liverpool he was never competing for trophies so wasn't under the same pressure to perform. We simply need to get rid.

Kinda weird having 3 defenders on the bench plus 1 defensive midfielder.

Hey guys, where are you usually watching chelsea games?

Online. I refuse to pay for Sky Sports considering that it costs them nothing to provide me with it yet demand such a high amount of money for it. I've tried finding an illegal way to get at least 1 Sky Sports channel for free, but no luck. -
@YouNameIt, At which point did I mention Arsenal? Err, we won't crumble if we lose a game? Why are you saying that with such confidence like it's a fact? Did you not watch our game vs. QPR last season? Did you not see us crumble in the league after that? How on earth could you call those 'scenarios' (they were more like theories and probabilities, which is what football is all about pre-match by the way, you know, when you post your line-ups etc?) 'silly' anyway? Those outcomes from those situations mentioned happen weekly in football.

This is actually one of our most important fixtures so far I believe. If we lose this, we crumble (possibly). If we draw, morale will be down. If we scrape a win, us fans will be worried. If we dominate a win, we'll all be happy. I hope Lampard is dropped for this game, but I can't see it happening for some reason. Hopefully Marin gets some minutes. I'd start Mata though definitely.

I bet Ash has a big dong.

I genuinely believe he'll be retiring from international football this season. Maybe even join PSG. It's possible. At least Ryan will likely get some more games at left-back now if Ashley gets a ban!
-
Lolololol. Call me or him immature, but I love him for this. If they portray him as a liar, he has every right to call 'them' twats.

Meireles scored a great goal tonight! Just took a pop from a few yards outside of the box and it was in!

Who's more realistic for us to get between Falcao and Cavani? = Falcao. Who's more likely to score more goals between the two when put in the same position? = Falcao. Who's more likely to be a hard-worker and help with build-up play etc. and not just finishing? = Cavani. It's just down to preference really. Also, regarding their builds etc. - I find it quite amazing that while Falcao stands around 4 or 5 inches shorter than Cavani, he is much better when it comes to heading the ball into the back of the net. He's more stocky though and weighs a bit more, which seems to make him.. well.. not the quickest of forwards. Cavani is surprisingly quick given his build. I think I want... Cavani, at the moment. I do prefer Falcao in general simply because I love poachers, but I have little doubt that Cavani would fit this team more. However; Cavani, realistically, probably isn't going to leave Napoli any time soon unless a bid of around £50million is launched for him. Falcao could be leaving depending on how Atletico Madrid perform this season for any figure between £20 - £35mill. Something to be mention though when comparing these 2 players; Look at how they play for their nations. Cavani is usually quite average for Uruguay, while Falcao gets a goal every game or 2 for Colombia and generally plays well with 'lesser' players around him. Ugh. Football is complicated.

So... Manchester City still winless in the Champions League so far this campaign then. *Laughs an evil laugh to self.*
-
I must say, despite him obviously being really talented, I don't think Gotze is quite as good as he's made out to be. He's all-rounded, but he isn't outstanding at anything IMO. Worth around £15mil-ish maybe in my eyes.
-
What the fuck was that.
-
This is what happens when you just change your formation mid-game. This isn't a game like Fifa or Football Manager. Yes, they're paid professionals, but you can't just instantly switch how you've been playing to something completely different mid-game in a Champions League match! Silly Mancini.

Ah. If only Szabolcs Huszti was younger. He reminds me of Malouda in his prime. Wish we signed him for cheap last season as a squad player. He's tearing up the Bundesliga.

Better late than never

Guys. No. Please. It's embarrassing. Luiz scores ONE free-kick. That doesn't mean he should be our free-kick taker.

Juventus concede.
