It's odd how I never expect a win over the likes of Wigan, Liverpool, West Brom, Reading etc, yet seeing Tottenham's line-up I'm expecting to thrash them. I like it

I chuckle to myself every time I see Lloris on the bench. Easily one of the best goalkeepers in the world, even when out of form. Sure, their Dinosaur of a 'keeper is doing well, but it was just such an odd thing to buy one of the world's best (well, from what we've seen of him in France and with the national team) goalkeepers and then barely use him. Just imagine if AVB bought... Marc-Andre ter Stegen while he was here and used him in a Turnbull role. I would rage.

I'm pretty positive that only new signings will score in this game. Just an incredibly strong feeling. Possibly... Oscar and.. Dembele if he's available for them.

So no John Terry for this game then! I personally think it could be a bit of a blessing in disguise. Cahill is deserving of more games and we need to start seeing how things will be without Terry. I don't think I really like the Cahill - Luiz partnership though.

I mentioned this guy a few months ago after reading something in Germany about us being interested in him, and now he's popped up in the Mirror in an article saying both we and Tottenham are interested. According to other sources online, it's more likely he'd join Tottenham as they're the more interested team. I'd personally not like him here at the moment. He wouldn't improve us. The control and touch for his 2nd goal last night was one of the best I've seen in what, the past 5 seasons or so probably!

Bertrand is probably amongst the top 100 left-backs in world football right now, and the fact that he's English bumps him right up to being the 2nd best left-back in the world right now behind only Ashley Cole, so he has every right to drop out of an England game due to a sore throat IMO.

Just realised that Torres, despite his missed chances, has more goals than any Manchester City players have so far this season. Not bad.
