  1. LIVERPOOL: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Allen, Gerrard ©, Henderson, Downing, Sterling, Suarez
  2. I had a dream surprisingly about this game last night! We lined up - Cech; Azpi, Ivan, Cahill, Cole; Mikel, Romeu; Ramires, Mata, Moses; Torres. Long story short - We got destroyed 1-7.
  3. This is my go-to song to get me angry/furious and pumped up before a workout so I feel like I can just destroy anything and anyone who gets in my way: It makes my blood boil and veins pop out of my skin!
  4. I laughed..rather hard. That's probably a strong reason as to why I'm doing what I'm doing, although I'll rarely admit it.
  5. The reason for me using protein powders is pretty much because my diet is rather shit. I've used online 'health calculators' tonight to roughly determine how much of each food group etc. I'm supposed to be getting on a daily basis, and each says I should be getting around 80-100g of protein per day. Up until tonight, I've been on around 40-50g of protein per day - and that includes my 35g protein shake. So me, being a complete twat, freaked out and had an extra protein shake and a half just minutes before starting this thread to take my protein for the day to around 90g. I would rather do things natural though. I'll probably just try and get allot more fish (mainly Tuna and Salmon), eggs etc. into my diet and start trying out nuts. At the moment I'm just having whatever I like aslong as it's within my calorie allowance. It's time to not be disciplined just in training, but nutrition also. It'll probably be easiest if I start writing my meals down a day or 2 in advance.
  6. The first assist was very good. The 2nd assist shouldn't have lead to a goal. Very bad defending. Still counts though. Never saw a 3rd assist. Is everyone counting his penalty win as the 3rd?
  7. This is simply a thread for all the (if any) people on here who workout, are losing weight, are into nutrition, or developing/dealing with their mental health etc. This thread can be used for general discussion. Post your personal info regarding health here (like I'm about to do), or post songs you listen to while working out, motivational workout-related quotes, backgrounds, goals, advice etc. Me:- Age: 17 Height: 5'4" Current Weight: 179lbs BMI: 27.5 Objective: Lose fat while retaining muscle Programmes: Insanity & P90X + Custom weight-lifting routines Supplements: Sci-MX Whey Protein Powder; Sci-MX pre-shake; Fish oil; Multivitamin; The occasional protein bar Goals: Priority - Get down to around 130-140lbs so I'm no longer classed as 'overweight'. Gain around 15-20lbs of muscle. Reduce BF% to 14% or lower. Daily calorie intake: Around 1400-2200 (Zig-zag calories so that I don't plateau.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Favourite Workout Songs:- (I like cheesy songs mainly with some hip-hop; occasional rock) Anything from the Rocky movies David Eisley - "Sweet Victory" Mt. Yeah, I hear them. That’s me they’re talking about. They can’t understand why I’m here every morning at 5. They can’t understand because they don’t have it in them. I live for this. All I think about is the next pak, meal, workout, set, rep… I’m here for a reason. I’m here to do something I couldn’t do last week, and next week I’ll do something I couldn’t do this week. It may be 10 more pounds, 5 more pounds, 1 more set, or maybe even just 1 more rep, but it’s something I couldn’t do before. I love it. It’s about knowing your limits and then blowing them away. My success is achieved by reaching failure. When I can’t do one more rep, that’s when I’ve succeeded. I know that I’ve really done it when I hit the showers and I stand there under the water unable to lift my arms up to scrub the sweat out of my hair. I stand there and think, ‘It’s going to be a good day.’ I crave it like some primal instinct telling me to go do it. People think I’m crazy because they can’t understand. That’s what the Animal brotherhood is about though. It’s us against them. They look at us and call us ‘freaks,’ but we look at each other and understand. It’s not about some kind of superficial glory or getting ass, it’s about finding what’s inside of you and bringing it out. That’s Animal." 8. Can't wait to see his assists on the League Show tonight!
  9. REAL BETISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
  10. Arsenal just pass to the feet these days. They really need to ditch this 4-3-3 and go back to what I think was a slightly hybrid version of a 4-2-2 or 4-2-3-1 from a few years ago. It was ultimate attack and counter-attack (depending who they faced). Not fancy rubbish. Just goals, goals, goals. I know it looks like this doesn't focus enough on defence, but I'm sure it'd outscore the opposition and still retain possession well. They need a new defensive midfielder, that much is obvious. But with the players they have now, I'd say that assuming Podolski and Cazorla worked on their defensive duties more and the 2 central midfielders held their position in the middle well, this should be an option for what they go for the rest of the season (if no one is/was injured, of course). Walcott would play as a nippy little striker who assists and scores - and completely confuses the opposition defence. Allot like Hernandez does when he comes on for United. Giroud needs to work on his aerial ability a bit, but once he does, he'll be great at holding up the ball and laying off little balls for Walcott to take advantage of. Podolski has a good enough work rate to be an all-purpose midfielder on that side while Cazorla can drift in at times when needed, with Walcott going out wide to the right when the wing needs more pace and the centre needs more control.
  11. Not confident one bit about this bet but thought it'd be worth a punt!
  12. Gonna be watching him tomorrow vs. PSV assuming they're not playing at the same time as us! (Even if they are, I'll probably live-stream the game in another tab and take glimpses!)
  13. I'm now realistically expecting something along the lines of: Out: Malouda Hilario Lampard In: Paulinho Falcao (I just find it a bit fishy that he's getting literally zero minutes in Europe for Atletico Madrid this season; unless of course I've missed something! It makes more sense to the board for him to arrive in the Summer, but we know our board. They're an odd bunch.) Long shots: Skrtel (in) Paulo F. (out. He's a great asset to this club off the pitch, but I get the feeling he may be moved on. I'm not entirely sure though.)
  14. I'm sure we've all read the list by now, but here's a summary of the best players Rafa signed for Liverpool and their prices. Some of these players I barely knew until they went to Liverpool: Xabi Alonso: £10.5m (Absolute bargain) Peter Crouch: £7m Pepe Reina: £6m Fabio Aurelio: Free Kuyt: £9m Agger: £5.8m Arbeloa: £3m Torres: £20m Mascherano: £18m Benayoun: £5m Lucas: £6m Skrtel: £6m Johnson: £18m (lol) Sterling: £600k (will rise to £5m) Suso: Free He signed some pretty dreadful players too though, but I'd rather not go into that! He really can spot talent though; or maybe it was his scouts, who knows. But players like Agger, Skrtel, Reina, Lucas (when he's not injured) and Johnson are still going strong while Mascherano, Alonso and Torres are now at the biggest clubs in the world. Not bad, eh? Maybe he sees Paulinho who he's apparently interested in as a Lucas-type player for us. Who knows. I've barely seen him.
  15. He was compared to Robbie Fowler allot at Nottingham Forest. He was said to be one of the best, if not THE best young English forwards at youth level. I was worried he'd be completely ruined here. Hopefully he does well. He scored like, 11 goals in 2 games or something at one point last season which had people believing he was some amazing finisher - he's not. It's just that he creates loads of chances for himself and therefore has to put away some of those shots! 3 assists is a great way to make your debut. I'm sure he'll be amongst the best players in the league this season if he stays there. Next season he should be loaned to a Championship side for sure.
  16. A few people on this forum genuinely have better coaching qualifications than Zenden. I just find that a tad funny.
  17. @, We have history before Roman. An unstable history. We almost went into liquidation. We almost didn't exist. We went up and down divisions. We had one of the shittest owners in history in the form of Ken Bates. God knows how he got into football. We've then had a decade of managers. We've had all these off the pitch issues recently after being relatively quiet when it came to off the pitch. We spend literally around £100million each season at the moment it would seem on players, when collectively they're worth not even half that most the time. We're constantly making losses and not a profit. Last season we didn't even finish in the top 4 yet still won 2 trophies. Before that, we'd been in the top 4 for around a decade. We've now got a strange policy when it comes to 'older' players meaning even if they're among the best left backs in history, we'll just let them go because we won't spend a bit extra on his contract and instead pump it into the likes of Torres' and new staff to make him happy. There's a big difference between us and other clubs.
  18. This is one of the most unstable, unpredictable, overspending clubs in history: But I love this club. There's nothing else to add to this. That's all.
  19. I can see this being the point where Everton's season slows down for a bit and I believe the Liverpool game tonight will speed their season right up.. hopefully to relegation.
  20. I love all the Belgians who have joined this site recently
