Regardless whether he goes down too easy or not or if you think he's a dick, like I'm sure Ronaldinho did for many people years ago, Neymar made me fall back in love with football when I first watched him (around 2009 I believe?). So for that, I'll always love him. I just hope he doesn't end up at a direct rival or Barcelona (although I do believe Barcelona is probably the best place for him.)

It's well documented that he has numerous problems with his body meaning it'll be almost a miracle to see him as a starting XI player at a top club in 2/3 seasons time.

That "he has 4 seasons left as a top keeper" has been nonsense for over a year now and these injuries are proving it. He's not got a very good body as we know, and once again, we shouldn't just keep playing him as undisputed #1 season after season now just because he's Cech. He should accept a Cudicini role with Courtois being #1.

If anyone here like me watched Mata at Valencia for a long time I'm sure they could agree that, despite turning 25 in just a few months, we've only seen half of what he can do. He is so special. He simply hasn't had the players to compliment him yet or the manager to use him correctly. He is not supposed to dictate play like managers keep making him try and do. He doesn't want to drop deep. He likes a deep lying playmaker to hit a pin-point pass to him so that then he can hit a magical flick over the defence and have our striker run onto it. He's a proper attacking midfielder; not playmaker. In that respect he actually reminds me of how Gourcuff was used incorrectly for a lot of his career at Milan & Lyon. Hopefully someone like Laurent Blanc comes in. He'll turn Mata into truly the best attacking midfielder currently playing (if we pretend Iniesta/Ozil don't exist lol), I'm sure of it. I'm aware that's a bold statement, but I'm very confident.

Remember destroying a couple teams with Hazard - Oscar - Mata at the start of the season? That was actually fun football. Good times. Can't remember the last time I smiled after a Chelsea game. Probably back vs. Leeds. Didn't even smile after the Arsenal win because of the abysmal second half.
