And Chelsea's reply would probably be something along the lines of: "No. Fuck off."

Don't particularly agree with your player ratings, but I see your point. We shouldn't be underestimating United, afterall they are champions. But I think we have a slightly better team this year, however most of our players are not proven yet. Cech is better than De Gea. While I don't think Terry should be a starter, I don't think Rio should of been anyway near the team of the year. End of. Cole and Evra, don't agree either. Ramires and Cleverly tie? Nah. While I do concede that Zaha has a much higher ceiling than Moses, I believe Moses could contribute more as of now.

What I think the line-up will be: Cech Azpi - Ivan - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel KDB - Oscar - Hazard Torres What I hope we see: Cech Azpi - Ivan - Luiz - Cole Ramires - KDB/Van Ginkel Mata - Oscar - Hazard Lukaku I think it'll be a very tough game, but like Jay said, we'd do good against teams coming at us, utilizing our counter-attacking possibilities. 2-2 is my guess.

3 points in the bag, let's move on! This is the difference between last year, and now. If we played bad last season, we would lose or draw. If we'd mess up just the slightest bit, we'd lose points. Now we've got a competent manager, so I'd take this 'playing inadequately but still getting the 3 points" any day, compared to losing a 2-0 lead to Reading or Southampton.

I believe Lambart said he was available for selection, but not sure if he is going to play
-
He said that he would not give two young kids their debut in the opening game, and in the same team selection.

Completely agree. I actually think it was a good thing to lose, I myself was guilty of being carried away. This team is soooooooo young, and although not exactly the same degree of implementing a new generation like last year, it is still crowded with players whom are unfamiliar to such strong teams as Madrid. Like Jose said, 5 victories, 1 defeat, zero points. The only aspects that really matter is: a) fitness exposing of flaws c) more goddamn fitness. While I do agree that the attitude may not have been the best, just think about what we've had to endure for the last 2 seasons. The Rafa Reign. How dire was the attitude at some points, both fans and players? Villas Boas? We are stacked with potential, and a few potential world-beaters, yet we bemoan a loss to Real Madrid doing preseason friendlies. I've done it myself, so it's not to bash the people that do, but we need to cut our team a little slack.

3-1 against one of the absolute best sides in the world (Bayern, Barca and Madrid) is not bad at all, considering our line-ups, changes and missing two of our nailed on starters Luiz and Mata. The attitude may not have been the best, but seriously CALM down. I've just read the post-match thoughts of Mourinho, and I completely agree. Preseason is the time to make mistakes so he can analyse them and correct them. We have a young team, and they are bound to make mistakes throughout a season, and show dire attitude too. If we overreact everytime this happens, Roman may as well end up doing something stupid. Give the team some support (not blindly), Madrid is not easy opponent. Considering our victories against Inter and Milan with the exact same youthful setup and the vast changes made at halftime, I think this team has an unbelievable amount of potential both in the short term and long term. I for one can't wait, and don't really care about the result!

That Twitter account has +60k followers, including several Chelsea under-21 players and the official Chelsea FC twitter account. He is usually quite reliable
-
It is Andre's official Instagram he is linking too, so I guess it's not on Romelu
-
Me and my partner in crime @AndreSchuerlle I love seeing the team bonding...
-
Think it was his comments in the Cricket Thread. Not entirely sure, though.

Good luck, Oriol!
