He's a good player but not dynamic enough for me to suggest the club should buy him for his buyout fee. Nope sorry. Not a great athlete, no real end product, not a great ball winner. I fail to see an area in his game that will be elite in a few years.

If Jose uses him the way he did Drogba that would be more than enough. At some point we have to sacrifice the playing time and start integrating him into our squad

I was thinking that way too but if we strengthen other areas on the pitch this summer a 3rd striker might not be required. Plus Bamford is making a claim that he could very well be ready for that position now anyway and to be honest, as third striker I think we can do way worse.

I think our HG status will play a big part in whether he stays or goes. RIght now I think he stays because we have to show to our youth the loan system works.

Hard to evaluate Italy but he looks the business. Excellent technique and decent finishing. We need a striker who can build attacks and finish them, would be a good buy if you ask me.

Jose Borinho. So sick of this guy managing in big matches and winning! Why is he always setting up the team to win??? Its the worst tactic I've ever seen... We're gonna go down as the first team ever to win the league from beginning to end and likely win it by double digits but that's not enough!! There is more to playing football than winning and Jose is just taking all the fun out of the game by winning all the time I'm sick of it!!

It's not a terrible place to draw from since we want players capable of playing well on big stages. I'm basing my conclusions on his lack of pace and also his average pass completion rate. he's a good player, no one will ever say that he isn't. but I personally don't see him as exceptional.

He's good, not the type of player that will make us a world beater. When I say he has no end product I mean he doesn't score enough.

man! This kid is on a real tear here! He may have played his way into the third striker role... The fact that he's scoring from a variety of positions on the pitch could only bode well for him. I know its the championship but honestly 19 goals while playing mostly on the wing is a shit ton of goals. I kinda wanted Charlie Austin to come to us since he's a Chelsea supporter and banging them in for fun but Bamford has done everything Chelsea have asked him to do and has made it hard to ignore his goal scoring prowess. The fact that he's also scoring from the flank is just a bonus.

I think he's too young to decide what his in game mentality is. He hasn't developed mentally for any of us to say with any certainty what his in game brain is like. That's where Jose comes in...

He was good, not consistent enough and never really showed up in big games. You don't think Jose got into his ear about his mentality and approach to big games and also his tactical contribution? I do. I think Jose has greatly aided Hazard and will do the same for someone like Pogba.
