You only agree with them when they agree with you.

He's actually more box to box than he is holding.
-
His words? you mean his interview?
-
Not to me. Looked a little like deer in headlights. Made a couple decent tackles but was often out of position and slow to react... He'll get better, he just took it simple and let the game come to him. Next time out I want him to utilize his strengths on the pitch more. For those that think I'm coating him off let it me known I'm not! I want him to be a Chelsea mainstay and good enough so that we don't have to buy again. I was over the moon when I saw he was starting and I'm holding the faith that he can show that he, not only belongs in this league, but that he can cut it at a club the size of Chelsea. A couple tackles and a few interceptions isn't near enough. Does anyone remember how all at Chelsea were raving over Romeu? How he was the next great 6 in our club??? How after his first couple appearances he asserted himself and showed real quality? Well that's what I want for Ruben and I also want him to kick on from there, its very important to the club that he develops into a player who can feature for us.
-
Pretty sure its light hearted humour. Calm down.
-
Are we talking about Pogba? I thought this was the Loftus-Cheek thread? I just want to see Ruben do well, he was bang average and looked like he was out of his depth a bit... First game but lots to learn
-
meh... Little to no influence. Has A LOT to learn
-
I must admit the only thing I cared about for this match was the guard of honour.... Now though, NOW! Its all about Ruben Loftus Cheek!!!!! This is a great chance for him to put a marker down for next year and I hope he takes it.
-
Let's see how he does first and then decide. Either way he's earned his chance and its up to him to take it. I'm hoping he shows what we all know he has! Even if he can't be our Pogba it would be great to see an academy kid come through and feature.
-
Elite vs. good/great....
-
He's back! Looks so good in blue too!
-
I'd say Willian for close control. His balance is similar to Schurrle... Not great but not terrible either.
-
You've got to be joking. There is no way he will win it...
-
It would depend on who of course. Griezmann is a striker if you ask me, on capable of playing out wide but more of a secondary striker like Sturridge.
-
It is more than likely made up. Every newspaper, no matter how reliable need click bait.
-
I'm gonna wait till the new season before I formulate a real opinion on this guy. Clearly he hasn't adjusted to the speed and power of the Prem and its hard to do it with a spot 5mins here and there.
-
Even if Villa don't go down I would say snatch him up. He's outgrown that team and needs a new challenge. I would loan them Bamford and perhaps another of our players like Kalas and sign Benteke for 30m
-
Really surprised the last time this guy was mentioned was July 2013! He is without question the most Drogba-like striker out there. If the rumours are true and we're in for him at a price of £30m I'd be over the moon. Costa, Benteke and Remy with Bamford coming through would be brilliant.
-
Maybe to you, I've haven't made it a secret that I think we need World Class players, we have enough great players in the ranks. Antoine is a great player who may feature in our preferred XI, not a certainty.
-
Wouldn't mind him. His close control is fantastic and he possesses very good finishing technique. If we are indeed in for him it would be good for the club
-
Its not mentioned till its mentioned. We aren't even into the summer yet, let them throw their best punches and we swoop in when the moment is right... Its not now. you guys are losing faith based on the rumour mill which is designed to sell papers and drive up the price. First of all, none of these teams could speak to Pogba or his agent, that's called tampering.
-
As I said before none of that matters anyway. What you call reliable I'd probably rubbish and vice versa... No real way to know with certainty. My point is and always will be, to be elite we need elite players and Pogba is that. Koke and Griezmann and guys like Isco keep us in the same bracket we're in.(perhaps a little higher up) but it doesn't put us in that elite bracket.
-
First of all how has the figure now risen to 70m? are we talking € or £? And why wouldn't Chelsea be in for him due to fee? Have we gone broke since the new TV deal, our winning the league, the new Champions league revenue and our new sponsorship deals? Are the hundreds of players we have on loan all of a sudden worthless? And please get off your high horse. PSG and City are big clubs with big purses and big players.
-
Aren't you forgetting Chelsea and Barca? Are you sure its only three of the biggest teams on the planet? hmmmm....
-
Who said anything about every player? I'm pretty sure I said 2-3. The highlighted players either don't play for Real Madrid or aren't Elite. The highlighted players won the Champions League together You could be right about where we need to add I'm not gonna dispute that too much all I'm saying is we need to add ELITE LEVEL TALENT to the good/great team in order to be considered ELITE and challenging on all fronts with the very best. If you think its up on the RW, sure! I'd love an elite winger to couple with Hazard right now... Maybe that is Bale??? I'm not necessarily a believer in him but I can see where you would think that. As far as another no.10 goes who can we get that is better than what we have?are there any out there that are elite and can win games for us? Just because you can't see Pogba's greatness doesn't mean its not there brother. I can't see the moon everyday but I know it exists... Every big club wants Pogba, you think its just because they are all fanatical and don't know what they're doing? Laughable. He is without question a special player who will improve any team on the planet for years to come. Your list of reasons are wack... not gonna address them. What you see and what pretty much every major scout on the planet see's is clearly in stark contrast.
