A lot of people here focussing on the entire season. No matter the configuration to win the Premier League you have to be mentally tough and consider that no game is going to be easy. If you adopt the 'one game at a time model' the weight of it all won't impact as much. We have newly promoted Burnley to start, they won't camp out inside their 18, they will want to come out and give the home fans a show. Whose hands does that play into? Chelsea with Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Costa, Fab and Matic? or Burnley? COME ON CHELSEA!

Engineering is always moving forward. But beyond that I think the end game is to try and buy out some of the local businesses (it won't be cheap) and redesign the infrastructure so there its easily accessible for the supporters. The big problem I see is the Railroad.
-
Still trying to figure out why so called Chelsea fans are rejoicing in the fact that one of their own had a bad game. The egos on some of you know no bounds... Who cares if you're right? Isn't this something you would rather be wrong about? Can't stand fanboys but I equally can't stand people who diss our young players. Anyone remember a fella named Daniel Sturridge? He's young, he can learn and will.
-
Precisely why I don't feel he's ready to play for chelsea fulltime. He will be fantastic in a squad that don't face compact defenses often. Lukaku does not possess the sort of technique that works in small, tight spaces... Its exactly what most who hate Chelsea know, but ignore when he's scoring for West Brom and Everton.
-
Not on the crazy wages being thrown around. Our number one priority as a football club right now is assuring Eden Hazard reaches his full potential because if he does.... Oh man. This of course is my opinion.
-
If and when that happens you may have something but until then... Doubt it.
-
So then we have Schurrle, Willian, Salah and perhaps Moses fighting for one position? Doubt it.
-
The key for me has always been Eden Hazard. If Luis can cover for him down the left flank and allow Hazard to focus on what he does best then paying 21M for will be a bargain when Eden is a Ballon D'or winner. He needs a vet behind him with experience in big games... Shaw and Rodriguez don't offer that, actually they make our left flank an area to overload and expose. Luis is the ideal signing given what we have in this squad.

None, most of the stuff like this is designed for people like you to click and start a 15 pg dialogue amongst supporters about why Chelsea are buying Kroos. When you post a link here the potential to get thousands of hits grows exponentially. When I read direct quotes, not sources say or understands, I start to believe more.
-
Not even them really but like I said, they tend to be more accurate since they don't publish a lot of rumours.
-
What makes one paper credible and the other rubbish? I've seen every one of those papers you mentioned publish bullshit. Is it just that they don't do as much? I don't believe anything these papers have to say to be honest, most of the time its click bait trash...
-
That's what his agent is hoping for.
-
You're probably right. It just doesn't make much sense after Fabregas was signed.
-
It is a bit slow but I doubt this means they all play together.
-
Agent looking to stir up controversy ahead of a World Cup game, Chelsea is a hot name to link him with. Does anyone really think Chelsea are going to sign another deep mid? Matic/Mikel/Ramires/Kroos/Van Ginkel/Fabregas Hazard/Salah/Oscar/Willian/Schurrle I guess anything is possible, we'd have 6 CM's for potentially 3 positions with Matic pretty much locked in so 5 for two. Up in the attack third we'd have Hazard locked and 4 fighting for one. I know we would change formations a lot but Jose usually likes to have a set group to work with and at current, there are going to be a lot of unhappy people if this is true. 18 names for the team Courtois/Cech(or the back up should we move Cech) Azpilicueta/Cahill/Terry/Luis?/Ivanovic(Utility) Matic/Fabregas/Ramires/Hazard/Willian/Oscar/Schurrle/Kroos/Salah Costa/Lukaku come to think of it that looks doable! you will get people who will want to play more but as a squad, if Jose rotates it enough... Good God!
-
No player wants to be booed by 85,000 home fans, sure there are other factors at play but that's got to weigh on a players mind. I felt the same way about it when some of the idiots at the bridge booed Sturridge, I knew it would come back to haunt us...
-
Exactly why i want this guy. Killer, accurate crosses... Great in the air. What a player!
-
"Oh its summertime! let's get some new shiny toys!"
-
I'm willing to bet excellent money that we a) don't buy Song be) don't switch formation to 4-3-3
-
There are a few reasons why i hope this is true. First and foremost is EDEN HAZARD! For him to reach his full potential we need someone behind him with experience and attacking nous. Someone that has the ability to take away some of the defensive responsibility Eden has been charged with this season. Luis is precisely that player, he will get forward, he will defend and is a cool enough of a head that he won't be overwhelmed by the extra defensive commitment. The second reason is Diego Costa, we need a player or two who know his game and can get him the ball where he likes it. He's not an AM but from wide areas he is the type of player who can deliver the ball where Diego can attack it. They know each other and to me that could be key to Costa hitting the ground running as opposed to stumbling in the early going. Chemistry is So So important.
-
Its weird because they all claim to hate Arsenal and Barcelona but they want nothing more than to play just like them. A team needs balance people! Not everyone can be the perfect passer who runs from deep and scores crackers. YOU NEED SANDPAPER and not just some loads!
-
Barf... What is going on here? Song? You guys can't be serious? If its Mikel or Song its Mikel 100% of the time! You guys and your new shiny toy syndrome is maddening.
-
Roman has spoiled Chelsea fans rotten. No one wants to see players stay at the club for 5-6 yrs anymore 3-4 is a lifetime and then move him on...
-
I really don't know why so many want Ramires gone. He had a terrible year but if you can't see that he has rarified skill that can help almost any team on the planet, well then... He covers so much ground, puts in a tackle, can bag a goal or two from deep, can cover as a defensive winger and never quits! I personally love what he brings to the team and think there are few people in the world capable of doing what he does.
-
costa had a poor game but I don't think the way this Spain team plays works to his strengths at all. They don't get out on the break and never look to play it through the defense into him. The one or two times they did he had goalscoring opportunities. That headbutt wasn't serious but he better stop that shit if he comes! He will definitely get suspended by the FA for that shit... LONG too.
