  1. D-Bag -1 : Steve Schmidt D-Bag - 2: David Pastzor
  2. And the better ones cost double what Costa will be sold for. We're getting a very good striker right before he becomes a top 5 striker... I don't know why people care so much about how shit Spain looked with him in the team, bottom line for me is when he is recharged we're getting a striker who scores with every part of his anatomy! If we wait a year or two before we buy him the price doubles.
  3. Jose knows best, one could argue that the game is changing because of him. High pressing has been his hallmark recently. He's made speed and power the most essential aspects to a winning formula and we have that in droves. Willian, Schurrle, Salah, Hazard, Oscar all have one thing in common. Ramires won't be sold for the same reason.
  4. FINALLY Someone who is level headed and gets it! Its like people think they are machines! The mental and physical demand to play at such a high level is taxing. No one can sustain such a high standard for that many games...
  5. Do us a favour and don't watch any Chelsea games when he's signed.
  6. hahahaha! So Far??? Has he even put the Chelsea jersey on yet? You fellas are like virgins on Prom night, don't mug yourself before the big show dude!
  7. This isn't a debate I'm going to engage in, I know this... But to make the SUGGESTION that Chelsea have underachieved a bit isn't unfounded.
  8. Not arguing that, just the use of the phrase "this isn't... FM,Fifa... whatever" is so condescending.
  9. Never like this sort of "holier than thou" talk. Anything that starts with "This isn't..." is so belittling. Its not hard to imagine that a team that has spent as much as Chelsea have under achieved a bit.
  10. No it isn't because other than the Mertens goals his dribbling lead to nothing. He has the technique to get into good shooting areas, he needs to be a little more selfish when he gets there.
  11. I like Shaw too but don't think he's ready to play at the high level we require him to be at. He would need a veteran like Ash for sure
  12. And its not like we haven't got oodles of cash to spend, we had to meet his buyout in order to grab him. If he flops out we can easily replace him... buying someone like Shaw, knowing that is will take time, makes it harder to replace him should he flop. Meanwhile we have a budding world beater who needs to be properly insulated in order to reach his potential in Eden Hazard.
  13. I'm not. dribbling endlessly with no end product doesn't make you a world great, he needs to use his dribbling ability to get into areas to release a shot.
  14. Having said that it was his first ever World Cup game and you know the pressure is on him to be the talisman. He wasn't great but did do some things that made you remember how talented he is. Judge him on his whole tourney not his first ever game
  15. He definitely wasn't great. Yes he got the assist but he needs to elevate his game. Almost every lesser team Chelsea or Belgium will play will sit deep, he has to find a way to impact those games... Messi can.
  16. I disagree, he will attract too much attention in the middle of the pitch. Zidane was 6'1 and very strong, Hazard is maybe 5'8 and has good balance but will get marked out of games by bigger, physical midfielders. He is best on the wing where he can use his dribbling to greater effect
  17. Not only that but we need veterans to help the younger players to mature
  18. Pretty far distance to travel bro! those won't be easy
  19. A lot of people here focussing on the entire season. No matter the configuration to win the Premier League you have to be mentally tough and consider that no game is going to be easy. If you adopt the 'one game at a time model' the weight of it all won't impact as much. We have newly promoted Burnley to start, they won't camp out inside their 18, they will want to come out and give the home fans a show. Whose hands does that play into? Chelsea with Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Costa, Fab and Matic? or Burnley? COME ON CHELSEA!
  20. Engineering is always moving forward. But beyond that I think the end game is to try and buy out some of the local businesses (it won't be cheap) and redesign the infrastructure so there its easily accessible for the supporters. The big problem I see is the Railroad.
  21. Still trying to figure out why so called Chelsea fans are rejoicing in the fact that one of their own had a bad game. The egos on some of you know no bounds... Who cares if you're right? Isn't this something you would rather be wrong about? Can't stand fanboys but I equally can't stand people who diss our young players. Anyone remember a fella named Daniel Sturridge? He's young, he can learn and will.
  22. Precisely why I don't feel he's ready to play for chelsea fulltime. He will be fantastic in a squad that don't face compact defenses often. Lukaku does not possess the sort of technique that works in small, tight spaces... Its exactly what most who hate Chelsea know, but ignore when he's scoring for West Brom and Everton.
  23. Not on the crazy wages being thrown around. Our number one priority as a football club right now is assuring Eden Hazard reaches his full potential because if he does.... Oh man. This of course is my opinion.
