Im just curious what will happen after three games when Cahill returns, should Christensen, Rudiger have great performances during Cahill absence. Will he get Cahill straight back knowing he was poor and others played better or will he give chance to Christensen and Rudiger. It will say alot about Conte tbh.

Even in possesion he is a very limited player sadly. The only two great outputs he has are vision and long passing, and even then when he isnt under pressure.

Spurs played 20 yo Kyle Walker Peters yesterday and comfortably won the game. Everytime we play one kid, suddenly everyone starts questioning if we can win that game, including managers. The lack of faith and trust in our youth is big big problem. Rlc would never show such confident performance here if he stayed.

Funny how so called experts take some facts and completely disregard others. Costa explained nicely he would extend. How in the hell that means he wanted to leave since 2015? Well guys if Costa realy wanted to extend in january, but Chelsea eventualy decided to cancel that, how will you defend the claims that Costa was a prick who wanted to leave? If what he say is true, then its our fuckup. But yeah Costa should take it as professional instead going about like child. And it was publicly known Arsenal couldnt be super competitive back then. Their board at least explained to their fans. Spurs will probably get decent replacement for Walker, nevermind they are about to sign Sanchez for 40m. And even so, the times have changed compared to Arsenal stadium building days. Going by what I saw in media one thing Id point out; Costa said he didnt want to go to China because he wants to play in world cup next year. Also if his words are true today, he was about to renew back in january but someone stopped it. Conte or whoever else... That means; althrough Costa wanted out last year, he wanted to stay and even extend this season. If he was about to renew and board eventualy said no, giving clear indication he wont be here come summer, it makes sense why he stoped playing at his highest level. I also remember Eden and others being extra happy when Costa scored his first goal after all that drought, indicating the players were firmly behind him. It just doesnt make sense why whole squad would be still huge pals if he wanted to fuck us and leave; as the media points out. What if it was as simple; Conte being strong character decided Costa is off and that was it. Could be for the most simple thing, discipline. Obviously the relations between Diego and Antonio got sour in january, if Diego suspected Conte pulled the break on diego extension. Bottom line we all see how stupid our board is working this summer, selling Matic, not bringing depth and quality etc...I wouldnt be surprised if the fault for this poor relationship between Chelsea and Costa was the board itself. And if you take the negative points out, Costa and Matic were huge huge players in our title winning seasons. And now we have lost both. That alone is just messed up. Doesnt matter what Costa said or did, the board and possibly Conte acted completely opposite of professional. If Costa wanted to stay here, thats first thing Chelsea shouldnt be messing with. He was alright player. If we wanted to sell him, then fucking find the buying club, make a deal and au revoir. This whole saga with sms's and Conte vs Costa and Costa being exiled doesnt help our club one fucking bit. There should be only two options; Costa playing elsewhere or Costa staying here in good relations. Period. I dont defend Costa, but if someone is acting like a dick, you dont act like a dick back. Tbh I dont give a shit how much money we get from player sales. Did we spend 70m from Oscar on new winger or AM? I would rather see Matic in juve for 20m, in some other league, for all I care if he brings them title. But to sell him to rival with coach who made him play best in his career? The sheer thinking and seeing every week how amazing Matic is under United, how he connects them, how he makes them play better, how great he plays himself etc etc...isnt worth a penny nevermind 40m. As much Im fumming about the board, Im still super excited for this season. It will be interesting to see if we can climb up or are we going to do 15/16 (hopefuly not haha). Which kids will get chance and take it etc etc. Much better this way than being dunno Bayern fan where you know league is already yours. At the very least, united and city growing means improvement of the league and english football, chelsea will have to follow it to stay competitive. And we will finaly see more english teams in CL knockouts...

I saw about 10 minutes of the game...what a fucking disgrace Neymar and Di Maria falling and faking fouls every 5 seconds... It was guingamp...Ronaldinho would dribble their entire squad, not throw himself on the ground every second.

This is whats alot more worrying than Matic case alone. We comfortably finished first, United 6th yet two months later they look far far bigger title challengers than we do. Maybe we dont have whole picture and we will get reinforcements and get realy realy good, but as it stands right now, seems we took 5 steps backwards in summer and that is not acceptable by any level of explanation. Whats realy funny is he trained on his own and looks better prepared than our entire squad atm. Might be just motivation playing for new club, but in that case the fuck is with our players if they dont have motivation to retain title... I absolutely agree with you. What I meant, the only reason I would somehow understand the sale is if we get better, younger midfielder, but seems that wont be the case. But on larger scale, as you said we gave our rival exactly what they needed. PL will be won against westhams, and even if Matic plays shit against top 6, he will be key for United against everyone else, and in that case United can win title much easier with Matic help. We gave them very important player. Nevermind the worst scenario what happens if Bakayoko somehow doesnt play well here? Matic should be kept until january at least to see if Baka can hold his position alone, meanwhile we would identify proper competitive midfielder, sign him and sell Matic. What we did in reality is beyond any reason ffs. Even if Matic eventualy flops entirely, the sheer prospect of what he can do for United tells you not to sell him to rival.

I dont care if he ends up shit or brilliant at united, as long our board gets a fucking replacement as good as Matic. If they fail to do that, they should never sell Matic in first place ffs. Even selling Matic, leaving us thight against burnley and spurs is a mess itself. Getting Drinkwater for 30m in the end wouldnt solve shit either. We would only splash that goody money united gave us, the fee we couldnt "refuse" on average player. Yeah, brilliant job. Not a single positive in selling Matic unless we actualy get quality midfielder, which we obviously wont. Are some of you realy discussing Kante quality again? Im wondering when will you guys ever appreciate our player when he is not having the very best game of his life, because as soon someone has average or decent game, he can be easily replacable apparently because he is nothing special?? We should all appreciate the players we have as long we have them because often only once they are gone, people realise what we had. And no, the board wont throw 90m for a new midfielder after.

Shame Cahill did that stupid challenge which ended Bogas debut. But at the very least if the board doesnt buy players, I hope Boga and Musonda get their chance. Bottom line if we mess up this season in terms of results, developing either of the two in quality player would give me same joy as winnig title realy. We havent developed a player since Terry and thats was ages ago.
