Despite the shit he shown this season, I would definately give him another chance. If he gets past his inconsistency and mental trouble which he can, he could be the best DM in league.
-
Yep I agree with that, and I also said I understand for those who live in UK, its completely different than to us outsiders. Here, we have two "big clubs" too and no way in hell one would wish others to be good and there are constant jibes from one to another.
-
Well thats your football philosophy then. I admire that, but lets agree to disagree. As for you being english, yeah living in areas with full of United or Pool cunts, it leaves toll on you, so i get it. Hate doesnt come naturaly, there are always provocators. You want United, Pool to lose so that you can enjoy seeing their fans misserable. There is certain satisfaction here, sure. I want to see Chelsea win stuff, because it makes us/me happy. Thats all. If someone else deserves it , i will give credit where its due. Bur dont get me wrong, I support Chelsea and Chelsea only. I will defend the club and mock other fans in good sport when we win. If we lose I will eat humble pie and focus on next time hopefuly beating them. But I wont hate the rivals club just because they would mock us. We do the same thing when we win. Thats part of football. It makes it special.
-
Support United? No, no way. But I dont wish them to lose. I only want them to lose when they play us or if it was lets say final match of season and we would have to win, while united lose for us to win title. In other games, I am neutral. I will appreciate team, be it Pool, United,....if they play good football or if certain person left giant legacy at Chelsea. As I said many times, strong league means strong competition from our rivals too. If it wont be United, it will be someone else. City was nothing 10 years ago and they have rivalry with us. My priority is on cheering for chelsea to win all possible and also enjoy in football of other teams if they play well.
-
I am talking strictly about their on pitch quality and character. If we go into their personal lives; Terry had affair with Bridge gf. But even the most loyal unbiased rival fans will admit Terry was absolute class on pitch. I dont have problem saying the same for Gerrard, Giggs and bunch of others.
-
You know, you are missing on half of what football has to offer if you hate on rivals like United, Mou, Arsenal, Gerrard, Cantona,... I was about 15 when I absolutely despised Barca and Messi for their clashes with us and I also preferred Real in elclassicos back then, so it was easy to hate barca. But I matured soon enough to realize that made no sense and I had opportunity to actualy appreciate Barca and Messi in ave for past few years before he retires. I dont see the point of hating or disliking someone. What do you get out of it? Chelsea still has to win. United losing wont make us win. Appreciate what football has to offer. Henry, Gerrard, Giggs, Vieira, Messi,...they were all our huge rivals, but they deserve big respect for their football legacies. As for fans of the opposition, there will always be two, fans that will piss on us, but also those who will show respect. Dont hate on rival clubs and players just because some fans are dicks.

Its easy to say, but honestly it would get boring to me if we won every year, expecting to win every year. Fact that I see this crap season, will make me indefinitely happier next season if we won the title. It could be down to individuals with bad experiences, but personaly I have good friends who are United fans and also Arsenal fans. We joke alot and keep it in fun banter. So yeah it makes it more interesting if titles rotate between Chelsea, United,... If another team is better than us, than I totaly respect them. In fact to see a top team, its privilege. I have mad respect for Henry 's Arsenal or Ferguson United. Does it make me lesser Chelsea fan? I dont think so. Its healthy rivalry. When we play, I want Chelsea to beat the crap out of them. But generaly, its always good to see strong competion. Matter of fact, best games I saw were against equaly strong opponents. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost. Its the beauty of football. So nah, I wouldnt like us to win year after year.
-
You mix personal feelings about rivalry with healthy competition. No one wants to see United win PL every year because they are rivals. But in terms of improvement, you want strong United because that means you compete on top level. And if you win, the victory is huge. Personaly, I dont want easy league just so we win title each year. Hence I want United (and every other team to do well, so that level of quality moves up). But Im not a fan of any team apart from Chelsea, however due to Mou connection with Chelsea, I will prefer him to win over lets say City. Same with Salah or Cech. The only time I wish them lose is when they play us. And for example, If we are in title race I want Chelsea to win, not United to lose. If we do our job, we win the title. If we dont, United does. And then you applaud and respect the oposition for being better, while prepare to improve for next season and beat their ass next time. On personal feelings I dont like City and United this better, but thats on us. We were simply crap this season. Move on and improve. But objectively, its good that Manchesters are successful. It raised the bar and we will have to improve big time. And if we do, we will have one damn great team. Thats why we were brilliant in 2004-2010 because the league with super United was much much more competitve than it is today.
-
IMO he doesnt support United per se. he just fancy Mou to do well because he had many good years with us. Its like when you wish a club legend all the best, like Cech to have good spell in arsenal, apart from games against us. And you do realise United success only benefits us, right? Lets say PL would be crap and we win title every year. But that wouldnt mean much because the league is shit and its not a challenge. What strong United gives us is competiton which is good. It means we have to improve and thats also good in eyes of our CL chances. People need to see we are fifth because we are crap right now. Its not because united plays well. Thats why makes no sense to wish bad luck to United or Mou. Thats just ill sportsmanship. Its on Chelsea to improve, regardless of how good/bad United plays.
-
In that case we could just keep Emenalo then. Our board was crap for a while now, but our scouting was definately more than good. Salah, Kdb, Lukaku, Christensen, Tibo,... The problem was in integration and general belief in those players. As long as you have Marina, Roman and Conte (or another manager who doesnt get along), SD like Campos is no better than Emenalo. We need real authority in board to make decions and stick to them. They pick a manager that suits plan and manager gets part in deals and more trust in return. Only way to click.
-
Wow a Chelsea fan that actualy still respects Mou and isnt bitter about him? I dont understand why so many hate him. The man created modern Chelsea along RA and Kenyon. No one should forget that. On united-city matter, very happy Pep was put in his place again. Hate it when media talks about "best team in world" and " unbeatable" when all they won is League cup (I know they will win PL too, but internationaly wise they have much to show).
-
If he had more attacking approach and actualy tested players that we have, sure. But I wont stand another season of park the bus with same 11 and listen him moan he doesnt have other players.
-
Would Campos be that man though? Sure he is a quality talent spotter, but for that to work, we would need to give those talents a chance. And he worked in Monaco, who made great great profit during his time. Obviously Monaco is a selling club, so it makes sense, but Chelsea isnt. We need director who is capable of building a strong team out of good established players and young talents, plus being able to sell that idea to players, so that we are attractive. Ocampos on other hand excelled in bringing young talents and then sell them for big bucks. Plus Lille is doing absolutely awful though right now, their idea of bulding competitve team for future fell apart like house of cards. Not sure thats is comparable with lets say Txiki who was in control of shaping Barcelona into powerhouse or Peter Kenyon who did the same in United before coming here. We need someone with experience, thats what we lack big time. We need Guardiola type of technical director, not AVB.
-
Would love to see Emerson in this one and later Hudson Odoi in second half. But its not going to happen, same old lineup. We might win against WHU with that lineup, but we will be killed again against better teams. We need to look in future and try some players out. Conte wont give a shit though, even if our CL spot is good as gone and we could take some risks.
-
Tbh Matic wasnt average. He wasnt world class, but more then dependable player. Chelsea fans and maybe even the board underestimated him big time. And obviously yeah we dont know how to replace him. We shot ourselves in the foot twice.
-
Either your priority is stay competitve or balance the books. Its obvious what Marina priority is. We got 40m...is that realy even a good argument? 40m is relative, because its all about how you spend it. I dont care at all how much we get for players honestly. What I care is that we stay on competitive level with good squad. So if you ask me would I prefer 40m on Chelsea bank or Matic is squad, the answer is obvious. Chelsea has spend the money awfuly and, it realy doesnt matter if we got 40m for him, because we spend it unvisely. Matic might leave for nothing, wouldnt change the damn thing, because of our board incompetence. We also got 70m for Oscar. And while that was actualy a smart sale because Oscar was terrible, but where is his replacement? Its shame we didnt invest into new AM in all this time. But does any other top club actualy give a shit about balances? If its impossible to replace key player, and you want to stay competitive on highest level, then you simply dont sell the player. Even if its big offer and player is 28. THE ONLY reason to sell Matic was that he wanted to leave personaly. There is nothing we can do after that point. We should make him happier long time before his request, which we failed. But the fact that he was 28 and it was good offer means fuck all when you want to stay competitve. Im not talking just about Matic, but in general. I do question what was realy going on, Conte wanted to keep Matic, but board sold him. So, if there was a chance to keep Matic, but the board decided the offer was too good, the board is absolutely stupid.
-
Sorry, no I dont think its easy to replace top players. But its possible if you know were to look. And we had several windows of opportunities. Similar, we let go Robben once and we never looked back because we made proper changes. He turned into a brilliant brilliant player, better than any winger we had, but we still had quality team regardeless and no one missed Robben. Its dissapointing that we didnt sign a single AM and we sold both Kevin and Oscar. If we had proper squad, it wouldnt matter how good KDB and Salah are. But it makes it difficult because our team is a mess and thats definately board fault. As for Kdb or Salah, if you meant me, I was one of few who said we should keep them at any cost, especialy KDB who had great spell in Werder and he reminded me of Gerrard.

If we go in 4:3:3 next season, we need 3-4 players to make it happen, ie LB (Bertrand), 1-2 CMs and new RW (Bailey). Something that is absolutely possible. If we want to stick with current formation, we need two new wingbacks because lets be honest, those we have are not good enough (Alonso is quality, but he is simply too slow and IMO that slows down whole team), we need RW and CM. So its quite similar, but the board needs to make a decision. Personaly I would go back to 4 atb, because more coaches are suited for it and secondly, 4 atb is the way to go in CL. Also, despite we won the league last season, we were bullied by Spurs in both games. The midfield was piss. Thats why we need to have 3 midfielders (4:3:3). We could also play 3:5.2, but that means one less winger. I dont like we would have body less in attack, so I would simply move back to 4:3:3 Thankfuly, all coaches we were linked were more of a 4ATB fans.
-
Tbh no one would miss Matic, Salah or KDB if we made proper investment and board had clue who to buy. You either have resources to buy top players or you have board that knows values of players you already have. We have neither. Barca was forced to sell Neymar, but they got proper replacements and they dont look back. We went backwards with sales of Matic, Kdb and Salah because we dont have better players in the team now.
-
I like Luiz alot, he has great character as you said and it shows on pitch. He offers somethig else when he plays. But we have to start looking longterm. We will hopefuly ditch 3 at the back this summer and go back to standard 4:3:3. Luiz has simply no place in regular 4 at the back, neither should we bench AC if we stick to 3 CBs. And IMO Christensen with Luiz isnt good choice either. Its difficult situation because Luiz is big big character, but he simply doesnt fit in first 11 after AC impressing. Idealy he would be kept as backup and someone to motivate in locker room, but then again, we would still lack his character on pitch. Maybe next manager improves him again, the chances are slim though.
-
Well Emerson was brought because he is a long term possibility, not instant impact. Obviously he wont excel in first match. He needs a run like Alonso did last summer. But Conte wont take the risk. Alonso is established and Emerson might have couple crappy games at first, but after two months, he could be twice the player Alonso is. However Conte has no courage to actualy test him. On other hand, If Emerson is so bad, why did we purchase him in first place? He was injured, but he was arguably best LB in serie a last season along Sandro. IMO his talent is there, but again our coaching staff has absolutely no idea how to handle him, like with Salah case and many others.
-
Tbh Klopp was hellbent on getting Dijk and Keita at any cost. It resulted in Pool paying 110m on those two. Not sure if board would back up Conte like that. Yeah we have spend quite alot on players and there is no denying the quality is there, but if Conte doesnt get players he wants, its a big problem. But in any case, we have better squad than what Conte showed in both city games. It was a cowardly approach. The problem with Conte is that he either gets the candy he wants or he will go absolutely crazy. There is no middle way. We have seen it in bust with Costa and Luiz, we also see it how he handles things with board. Its ridiculous though, how much he changed. Last season, he was passionate, he led the team like 12th player. He was truly brilliant. Not just on pitch, but also off, so much class and respect. He was also far from defensive except for some games in second half when we needed pragmatic approach. This season, he talks crap on conferences, looks distracted on pitch, cant motivate and lead. And the results are obvious. And his style of being ultra defensive is absolute piss to watch. I mean its obvious he didnt get players he wanted and tbh any manager has right to be pissed when he gets the likes of Drinkwater, Barkley, Emerson, Giroud. But you handle it behind the doors. Conte goes all out and damage is unrepairable. Its clear he wont win a war against the board. There is no point of return with Conte. 2018 was absolute disaster for him and I dont see how we can get along.
-
Under any manager, if we wish to play attacking football with possesion and be succesfull at it, we would need two more quality midfielders along Kante. Something I dont see happening. If we get one good midfielder that can play well with the ball this summer, it will be miracle.

Sorry if you meant the post was for you...its some other people who love to shit on Eden and then lick his ass few games later. I agree with you though, for Eden it would be difficult to get into current Real team, because there is Ronaldo. There is also Benzema who doesnt score enough on his own. But once CR leaves and Real gets proper striker, I stand by my opinion Eden is the best option for Real on LW. Hazard isnt perfect, but what we love to forget that he is pretty much the only modern football type of player on this team. And we play football that was popular years ago. Belgium with Martinez isnt any better example, KDB isnt half the player there either. Put Eden in actual attacking team with good organisation and he will thrive. Its almost sad how little people value him. Sure he isnt better than Messi or Ronaldo. But he would slot right into any top side in the world, bar Real Madrid because of Ronaldo. Bayern, Psg, Barca, City; Eden would easly slot ahead of their LWs. Eden has world class ball control and selfishness, something IMO would work fantastic next to players that Real has. Isco was splendid last season and Eden is pretty much better and quicker version of Isco. I want him to stay here until he is 34, but sometimes I just wish to see him on another top team that actualy plays football. If people regret selling KDB and Salah, IMO Hazard thriwing in another top team would cause Chelsea fans to commit suicides lol.Yeah I believe he would be that good.
-
What is truly funny is most Chelsea fans never learn. Hazard was apparently worth less than crap and most wanted him to be sold two years ago. Season later, SAME people lick his ass. Now its basicaly the same. Yeah he isnt doing that great and we have another shit season, so lets throw more crap at Hazard because he is bad. Lets sell him in summer, right? Yet, thick brains dont think twice about concesquences. We sold Costa and Matic who were important, but nowhere near Eden. Yet, we dropped down 4 places. Without Eden, not only we will lose main and probably only creative force, we also lose the man that automaticaly forces opponent to play differently when handling Eden. But yeah sell him, because he isnt scoring winner every game. When will people realize being best player at club has nothing to do with goals, at all? I would understand if it was his first or second season at club. But he is here now almost the longest serving player from current team, and he was definately amazing in every season, bar 2015-16. Even this season, he was outstanding in first half and I remember people here prasing him for stepping up. Now couple average games, people here just forget all that. Its just sad. No one says dont criticise him. He is responsible player and needs to show his worth. If he doesnt, its only right to be unhappy. Shit, Real fans boo Ronaldo too. But they fucking understand deep down that he is still incredible player and wouldnt sell him at all. Problem with Chelsea fans is they are spoiled and dont know shit about player value to the club. Booing after bad game to tell him he has to step up is one thing, but actualy debating should he be sold, is he good enough, how much money can we get and how can we replace him is beyond ridiculous. Get a grip people, right now we cant attract players like Eden and if we sell him, we will not see 1st or 2nd place for next 3 seasons at least. Sometimes I just feel some people would deserve a very crappy Chelsea for couple seasons, because they cant appreciate what we actualy have and know jack shit about loyalty, trust and respect.
