I just disgree that you need superb backups in top team. Their team is fine. Should have another DM indeed but not necessary someone for 50m. Could be effing Mikel. Their backline is also more than fine. Kompany and Otamendi as backups is absolute luxury. As for LB they have Danilo. Peps fault if he thought he can be good enough to use him on left and right. What you do need in top team though is a manager who can make the likes of Kompany, Otamendi, Danilo, Delph work. Something Pep doesnt. Its just downright ridiculous someone needs to spend another 50m on Chilwell or Firpo or whoever just to be BACKUP to Mendy and use him when Mendy injures himself. Not having quality back up isnt an issue. Issue is when injury occurs and your coach has zero clue how to make that average backup work for couple of games. Quality managers manage to outcome those issues and still win games. Klopp had injured Gomez and he plays Lovren who is average player. But pool is still winning thanks to Klopp approach. Pep needs two world class players for each spot to win because he has no clue how to work on players like Delph, something Klopp or any great manager did. Zidane for example made Vazquez realy good player, despite he is rather average. And regarding Fernandinho, Pep had two seasons to bring back up or something. When you watch him, you can see he has very little power in his shots and not very clinical either. When he dribbles past opponent, he almost always makes mistake by haggling on ball too long and then falling down or losing it when he should pass few seconds earlier. Not saying he wont do it one day, but he is very very raw. Lets say he comes here, and then he proceeds to be as frustrating as Willian first couple months, losing balls and not making passes,.... Do you think we will have patience to develop him?

We have won title with Moses and Alonso on wings. Klopp continues to win with Lovren and Henderson in squad. Pep realy has no damn excuse with Fernandinho or Mendy backup. Best managers in the world can still win with one or two average players in squad because they know how to hide their weakness and work on their strenght. Tbh he could be used as backup in pool. They have 3 excellent players in attack. If he doesnt perform straight away, its no biggie. Klopp can work him out and they still have Salah, Mane and Shaqiri for the wings. Also if they decide to play him as#10, he will get alot of support from teammates who will make him better. We on other hand need someone to start on RW and improve us immediately. Pulisic is just wrong player for that. Lot of potential, but we need someone to show it straight away, bench Willian and cope with pressure. Besides Eden, we dont realy have anyone great in attack, so Pulisic would be under big big pressure to perform, because there would be no one to cover his ass for poor games unlike in pool.

When Eden was 20, he scored 20 goals and assisted 16 for lille. Sure french league isnt super competitive, but neither is german these days. Neymar and Messi both had double figures too. The club is bitching about these 30+ contracts when many players still perform great. Then you see they extended Alonso who will be 32 when his contract runs up. 30 fucking 2. And he is already terrible and slow at 27.

Offensively they were poor. No passing threat, no chance creation, no one is threat from distance because they cant shoot. Leicester parked 9 players infront of goal, so it wasnt hard for our mid to pass around. But when they got close to their goal, we couldnt create almost nothing. Its cool they can pass rings around opponent in middle of the pitch, but that helps us very little in attack. When they get close no one has clue what to do. Defensively, when Leicester marched forward, our midfield was nonexistent, they just blasted through middle or the flanks. But thats to be expected when you have slim jimmy in DM spot.
