Well he is there just so we can rotate the ball and keep possesion. When in reality he should be here to allow us play football to a point that can help us win games. What is the point of playing possession football if the result is no wins, no chances, no goals and players playing out of position? He was brought to improve us. To help Sarri play his football. But right now, all we have is more problems than solutions. We shifted Kante to side too. You better be fucking great to justify changes like that. We are just playing posseesion football for the sake of playing possession football. What we have to do is adress the problems, accommodate playing style to the players in the squad and bring some reinforcements to complement the team. Not shift everyone out of their ideal position and regress even further. Our goal is to win games and score goals. Not possession and passing. Sure it should go hand in hand, but its clearly not. And if the board was so hell bent on getting Jorginho because he is "crucial" to Sarri system, well so are the fullbacks, striker and wingers. You cant play Sarriball with Alonso. Or Willian. Or Morata. But hey striker isnt important right now. As long as we paid 60m on midfielder who is crucial to this system that is clearly not working for months.

Apparently Serie a is super tactical and all. But they didnt figure out Jorginho in five seasons. He comes to england and every manager knows how to shut him down in 3 months. Sarri is doing one big mistake here if he doesnt fix Jorginho and still play him.

Salah, Mane and Firmino have not been around together that long, but they are absolutely fantastic. The way they link up, move positions and work in defence is brilliant. They are so easy going, but efficient, its scary. VVD is there since january and after couple weeks he became rock solid and made their defence 3 times better. They realy hit the jackpot with their recent signings. But the real reason is Klopp who is managing them absolutely perfectly. Take a look how he handled Fabinho. Utter bad in first games, so he simply benched him not to lose confidence, but didnt give up on him and worked him in training. Since december, he is realy improving. Compare that to how we handled Bakayoko. They are 9 points clear and they have been playing Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner in midfield. Credit where its due.

I just disgree that you need superb backups in top team. Their team is fine. Should have another DM indeed but not necessary someone for 50m. Could be effing Mikel. Their backline is also more than fine. Kompany and Otamendi as backups is absolute luxury. As for LB they have Danilo. Peps fault if he thought he can be good enough to use him on left and right. What you do need in top team though is a manager who can make the likes of Kompany, Otamendi, Danilo, Delph work. Something Pep doesnt. Its just downright ridiculous someone needs to spend another 50m on Chilwell or Firpo or whoever just to be BACKUP to Mendy and use him when Mendy injures himself. Not having quality back up isnt an issue. Issue is when injury occurs and your coach has zero clue how to make that average backup work for couple of games. With this team, they should be top of the table. With Mendy and Fernandinho injured or not.

Not sure why are u bringing all this up. My point was that Pep is overrated coach and as soon he doesnt have allstar team, he sucks. Each team faces injuries. Each team has weak spots. Quality managers manage to outcome those issues and still win games. Klopp had injured Gomez and he plays Lovren who is average player. But pool is still winning thanks to Klopp approach. Pep needs two world class players for each spot to win because he has no clue how to work on players like Delph, something Klopp or any great manager did. Zidane for example made Vazquez realy good player, despite he is rather average. And regarding Fernandinho, Pep had two seasons to bring back up or something. Instead he wasted 50m on Mahrez who wasnt required anyway. Stop making exqueses for man who has the most expensive squad, endless pit of money and runs the club for third season with 100% support. Conte, Sarri, Klopp, Poch all have/had limits in the support. Conte had to work his best on Alonso, Moses, Klopp has to work with Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lovren,..Poch didnt get any new player last summer. Any manager with sense would bring backup DM if that spot is so important for them. We had to play games without key players in the past. And with good tactical approach, you can still win. Yeah but in the end, Eden did make double figures on goals and assists when he was 20/21. Pulisic just didnt show that yet. When you watch him, you can see he has very little power in his shots and not very clinical either. When he dribbles past opponent, he almost always makes mistake by haggling on ball too long and then falling down or losing it when he should pass few seconds earlier. Not saying he wont do it one day, but he is very very raw. Lets say he comes here, and then he proceeds to be as frustrating as Willian first couple months, losing balls and not making passes,.... Do you think we will have patience to develop him?

We have won title with Moses and Alonso on wings. Klopp continues to win with Lovren and Henderson in squad. Pep realy has no damn excuse with Fernandinho or Mendy backup. Best managers in the world can still win with one or two average players in squad because they know how to hide their weakness and work on their strenght. Pep needs two world class players for every spot to play well lol.

Tbh he could be used as backup in pool. They have 3 excellent players in attack. If he doesnt perform straight away, its no biggie. Klopp can work him out and they still have Salah, Mane and Shaqiri for the wings. Also if they decide to play him as#10, he will get alot of support from teammates who will make him better. We on other hand need someone to start on RW and improve us immediately. Pulisic is just wrong player for that. Lot of potential, but we need someone to show it straight away, bench Willian and cope with pressure. Besides Eden, we dont realy have anyone great in attack, so Pulisic would be under big big pressure to perform, because there would be no one to cover his ass for poor games unlike in pool.

When Eden was 20, he scored 20 goals and assisted 16 for lille. Sure french league isnt super competitive, but neither is german these days. Neymar and Messi both had double figures too. That said its pointless to compare him with Messi or Ronaldo who are on another level. But Pulisic didnt even get close to double figures, his record is 4 goals. Its possible he will improve indeed, but for now he shows no potential ability to be dangerous finisher, something we desperately lack. Also he is behind pecking order in bvb behind Sancho and Larsen. How is he supposed to start here if he cant even perform better than Larsen in bvb?

Yea I get you. But we need players that will fire up the squad when we are down, not bitch around. We need players that will work hard and not complain if they get benched, thinking they are bigger than the team. Rabiot could be Psg captain or sth and one of french leaders in future, but his complaints that he doesnt like to play as holdind mid, that he wants bigger paycheck, that he doesnt want to be backup ruined all that. Just a very toxic character to have. And he isnt even that wow player. For that b2b role, I think he isnt suited for our midfield. We need dynamic player next to Jorginho, someone that can break through the lines. Rabiot just isnt that. He can pass well, but thats about it.
