Still baffles me how we completely killed him off after that injury. He was a starter, then picked up serious injury and after he came back, you knew there was no plans for him anymore. We didnt want to give him any serious playtime. Look how City treated Benjamin Mendy inury. He was out for almost a year, but not for a second Pep forgot about him. As soon he was fit, he came back in squad, got few games and then regular spot. And here the club was planing on loaning Zouma out because he needs to play whole season first before he could play here. Seriously? Why not just gel him in aquad? We had Cahill who was bad anyway. Its absolutely pathetic the way we deal with these young players. One day you are hot shit, then injury or mistake and you are completely out. Same with Christensen. Undisputed starter before that barca fuckup. Sure he was bad there but then the club froze him out completely. As if he forgot how to play. And surely he has low confidence after being treated that way. He might have few shit games, but with full backing his confidence would rise and he would improve last season.

The way Salihamidzic talked, Bayern looks seriously interested in CHO. Going public and all that, it doesnt happen often. To me it sounds Chelsea doesnt want to sell, but Bayern going public to add more pressure on us because everyone will talk about it and it might impress CHO. Robben and Ribery are off, and its likely Bayern wont be signing any other wingers which means huge chance for CHO, since their squad is constantly injured. Add #10, nice wage and most importantly Sancho talking to CHO how great buli is etc, Odoi might be persuaded. Mbappe and Sancho have been just talents with no experience and in span of couple months, they became undisputed starters at age of 18. Odoi has talent and seems to have good character, so there is big chance he can do it too. He is also very direct which is the difference. Not just flashy tricks and dribbles, but he actualy makes things happen. From our perspective, it will probably huge mistake and big loss, but I can see why CHO would want to move. Look at Musonda or Christensen who decided to stay and compare to Ake.
-
Well at least in theory it gives him better chance. We might invest in top striker with Edens money, who knows. Meanwhile Hazard is near impossible for him to get starting spot anytime soon unless Eden picks up injury.
-
The ONLY reason I see why he would want to leave is if we keep Hazard, because that essentialy means he wont be starting on lw for next 5 years or so. And he probably doesnt want to play RW in his key development years. Thats the only clue I can try to figure, unless there was massive trust issue from the club, but then again why would they try so hard to keep him now. He is london born, only 18 and already had some playtime, so he can hardly complain about that. Never looked frustrated with club or players etc. Meanwhile Bayern doesnt have top LW and he could develop nicely there. Sancho is doing great too, so its a league that fits his profile to develop. I feel he could return here after a couple of years if he makes it in bayern and we need new LW. Long shot though. BUT if we lose Hazard too in the summer, then the board is going beyond everything stupid they did. This would be monumental fuck up then if we lost one of best LWs in the world and super talented LW youth product.

They are realy similar aint they. Fun fact, Paredes was coached by Sarri back in Empoli. EDIT: no he was not, I was miss informed by website. After checking the years myself, Sarri left the summer Paredes came.
-
Thats pretty much clear. Everyone talks they hope CHO will stay which indicates Cho is talking to Bayern but didnt decide yet.
-
He was dogshit in valencia so this move might be good. Overall, summer is the time for the board to make up their mind and either keep or sell Bats. No more loans.
-
If there was to be any truth here; Summer: Barcelona offers Chelsea 60M for Willian but Chelsea rejects it. Winter: Barcelona offers Chelsea Malcom+10M for Willian but Chelsea rejects it again. Cant tell who is more stupid here...

Sorry but he never hit many long passes, even in napoli, at least when I saw him play. I didnt watch many games though, so I decided to check his stats at he had around 2,5 last season too. Also, if you compare Cesc and Jorginho in europa league where we faced poor opposition and therefore neither has excuse to deliver; Cesc averaged 8 long passes compared to Jorginhos 2. Jorginho can hit them long balls but he is doing it very rarely.

It was more of a joke but yeah maybe not doctor per se, but healthcare in general. People love money. For every one who genuinely wants to help, there are 10 who are there just for the business. Sick people need care, medication, treatment; all brings cash. More sick people more cash. I'd argue that business people in healthcare are absolute worst people out there. They pretend to help people while making deals behind the door devil himself would be proud. Most countries are short of doctors. But wave with some money and behold; your appointment is tomorrow. Pointing on the business people here, not the doctors or nurses.
-
You know what the doctors say. A healthy client is lost client.

This guy must be realy good since half of bayern squad is injured every season.
-
Should be Azpi back up next season. Period. Azpi usualy plays entire season by himself anyway, so Reece wouldnt be under massive pressure but still played nice amount of (cup) games. Then we can see how he does etc. Point is we dont need to spend on any rb right now because for all his faults Azpi is still our captain and very important player and Reece can easily be our backup next season. But board wants to buy fucking Hysaj as first choice or back up or whatever they plan to do. If they do that, Reece wont see playtime here anytime soon. And thats why every talented young player we have wants to leave.
-
People here often have these "grass is greener on the other side" type of opinions when it comes to new players. They like the idea of someone new coming and it blinds how average they actualy are. Once they come here and play bad, people finaly lose those blindfolds and realise how shit player we bought is. I could care less if this dude is going to be our 2nd, 3rd, 4th striker or vitesse loanee. As long the board buys a f*cking top quality striker because we need one damnit. We are absolutely shite at finishing. Every other top team has more quality in attack.
-
Isnt the rule that they cant buy after 7th, but they can still sell (to any team in any league that still has open window)?
-
Sarri and the board wont rate him and wont use him until he threatens to leave to get play time. Suddenly the entire club will start licking his ass and say how valuable and important he is.
-
I see it this way; could Azpi be upgraded considering his attacking contribution? Absolutely. Even more so now that we struggle with creating. We look super shit on both flanks and one might think any upgrade (even Azpi) would benefit us. Thats true. But first, we should replace RW, LB, ST, hell maybe even CB and CM (if Kovacic wont sign permamently). If we were to replace those positions first, meaning ditching Alonso, Willian and get quality players who can attack, our team would become much more dangerous in attack. Even with Azpi. Azpi being the only defensive minded player besides the two CBs wouldnt be a problem at all. In fact his leadership and strong commitment is very important for the team. People underrate his importance to the team and the fact he and Kante are only ones who give their best in every game. Idealy you need one attacking and one more reserved fullback in squad. Now that we have two who cant attack, its more glaring that Azpi is not good in attack. Even more with incompetent Willian ahead. Thats 3 players who dont contribute enough in attack. But if you have someone who can instead of Alonso and Willian, Azpi being defensive is fine because you need balance. Sure we might aswell replace Azpi instead of Alonso BUT hell I hope that never happens.

Every team that put slight pressure on him, he became invisible. The year we won title, he was great against Arsenal, but realy poor against other big teams. Same in CL. He just doesnt have that ability to hold on the ball and carry it. He was absolutely brilliant against small sides who didnt press us because he had all the time in the world to deliver the pass. His leadership was also always lacking against the big teams. He didnt ''lead'' us in those games at all. He didnt motivate etc because he himself wasnt big game player. When he should guide us, he often held his head low and just went with the flow of the game. Never put that never give up attitude in big games. But people have been blinded by his assist numbers. The same year we won title, I remember he was complete disaster vs PSG. Sure he could deliver a pass or two, but generaly speaking he was always completely hidden in such games here with maybe one or two exceptions. That said, he is who he is and he was still great against smaller sides. Perfect small side killer. Im happy we had him because his role was important in 2015 title. But overall I wont miss him too much. We never looked dominant with him in the side, our midfield was slow and had no dynamic and I was screaming since 2015 to bench him and get someone with legs. I almost went balistic when Conte put him back in starting eleven last year after shifting him out perfectly a year before. I would always have him on bench or against small sides, but when it came to top dogs, he would be the first to be benched IMO. Thats why we had such poor showing that year in CL, our midfield was just crap with Cesc. Matic was amazing, but Cesc was total opposite. And long term if you want to win such trophies, you need a player that can deliver in small and big games.
-
He is good enough to be backup since Azpi rarely gets injured and plays almost every match. It would be perfect to slowly involve him into the squad. But watch Chelsea buy 5 RBs before giving our own one a chance.
-
He just said everything is bs and he will extend the contract once Inter gives him a proper offer.
-
My grandmas second cousin is tired of Alonso...
-
He is bang average and if we are buying him just because Sarri knows him, thats sad. Stop going after the players he "knows". Sign players that are actualy good and have future here, not some average have beens. I wouldnt get him even for backup, never mind first choice. @Unionjack he isnt attacking minded fb at all. Ghoulam was doing all the attacking work at napoli when fit, all went through Ghoulam and then Insigne. Hysaj is super average going forward and isnt good in dribbling or crossing. Not fast either.
-
People know I was never too fond about Cesc. He didnt have the legs since his second season here and we were badly exposed because of it. When it realy mattered he didnt show his leadership character but went into hiding which was unacceptable for someone like him. Under pressure, he was always terrible here. But he was always a professional and his passing is just out of this world. He played big part in the 2014/15 title. Thank you and good luck magic hat.
-
The only thing I excpected more from is his long passing. He averages just 2,5 long passes per game. Kroos has 9,5, Thiago has 7, Busquets has 4,5. Sometimes you just need long pass to break the press / create dangerous chance and Jorginho isnt doing it enough.

Birsa has nothing to do with Barella departure. He is #10/rw.
