If we dont score now that we have chance after chance, we aint winning this game. Cant believe we dont score when our opponents look clueless in defence. After they recover, we cant do anything anymore and we often even concede on counter. So many games this season when we absolutely destroyed opponents defence for about 20min, but we didnt score and then they turn it around with one counter attack.

They are reporting City is close to 2 year ban too. And they could be punished further if found guilty of breaking ffp.

Nice game, but for most parts Kiev didnt even try. Realy happy with Odoi and RLC. It was game against bad opponent, but both played realy well and motivated to the end.

Its possible we wont try like for like replacement. Our key player after Hazard might be RW or striker or someone else.

Well sure we will have Pulisic and CHO, but IMO it would be better if they learned from Hazard. Putting those two and expect they will do wonders might kill them mentaly. Idealy we would need someone like Pepe/Fekir/...to replace Hazard and lead our younger generation.

Yeah but people are naive if they think we will be a better team. In the end all it matters what version of us is better. It doesnt matter if its Hazard FC or team Chelsea FC, I dont mind us being Hazard FC if we get better results. Real fans thought their club will be better because they will play as equal team once Ronaldo leaves, but look what happened. Some teams work great as unit, ala Liverpool and some are better being dependant on one key player. We are the later because the rest of our squad simply doesnt have the quality. Maybe Willian, Pedro, Higs,...will put better performances once Hazard isnt here anymore, but that doesnt mean in the slightest that we will actualy win more games. If we could spend Hazard money on two quality players, thats another thing, because it would be more future prood, but due to ban we wont be able to do it for another year. Though even here more questions arise; if there are true quality players available, can we afford them, do they want to join us and is board even competent enough to pull it off.

I dont know if its because the expectations werent high, but IMO he is doing just fine. Not great, not bad, just ok. Dangerous when he gets a chance and decent linkup. We all knew he is slow though, so thats about it. I do feel way more comfortable when Higs goes 1v1 compared to Morata or Giroud. That however happens rarely. Higuain movement is good, but he isnt quick enough to escape the enemy, leaving us in less 1v1 vs the gk compared to Morata who had quite a few chances.

Indeed our fullbacks are awful. There is no width, no wing play because they dont overlap quickly enough. That forces us to either play through middle which is parked with opposing players or pass to wingers who end up isolated.

We are 1 point closer though He isnt useless, but today on rare fee occassions when he should do his job, he failed. In Wolverhampton goal, he simply stopped tracking Jimenez which was massive wtf moment. Dont know what kind of brainfart he had. That was Alonso/Luiz esque mistake.

Instead we should play Willian or RLC Hazard-Higuain-Pedro/CHO Willian/RLC-Jorginho-Kante Then we have either CHO or Pedro to add some pace in second half or Kovacic/Barkley for more "stability".

Why arent we targeting Doherty who cant afford another foul because he is on yellow for entire second half? Why we try everything through the middle when Wolverhampton parked entire team there? Our attack has no switch play. Everything is going through prematch agreement; pass pass pass through the middle no matter what.

Still 30min to play and with all the possesion we have more than enough chances to win this. But we wont win playing like this.

Our defenders are useless in these counter attacks. Two wolverhampton players broke our entire midfield and defence.

Eden, Luiz, CHO and other players must be kept at any cost. Thats pivotal right now. Hopefuly we can keep Higuain, I heard this is possible since we already have option to extend his loan for another year (unlike with Kovacic whose loan is set to end in summer). Recalling some players will be also important (Bats, Kenedy, Zouma,...) One great thing out of all this could happen with youth players though. James, Mount, Tammy, Ampadu, CHO, Tomori, Salter, Aina seem to be ready for at least part roles in this crisis. Hopefuly we count on them and not the likes of Drinkwater. Dont forget Pulisic is also arriving. Im quite dissapointed we didnt sign Barella in january because Kovacic is now obviously not going to be bought and we will lack one midfielder. IMO we wont be in title race, but we can use the season to set some key players for years to come. If we dont use young players next season, we never will. The club can shut down entire academy then.
