From this lineup, I guess we are putting all eggs on winning the EL.

There were so many ref mistakes in past couple years, its crazy. Nearly every second game had some ref making mistake and changing entire game. Var had to be implelented. Im not a big fan of Var either, but if we have to pick between waiting for a while to see if its goal or fume at all the wrong offside/penalty decisions, I pick VAR. I absolutely hated the diving in penalty area which will get done once VAR is fully settled. VAR right now is still crap in many many decisions but they will eventualy get it right. They will make more specific rules to every situation and train refs to do their job quicker and smoother. Its the way to go. In few years no one will complain if they had to wait 3 minutes for VAR to check the situation, however we will never forget the bullshit games like the one against barca. As for enjoyable football, players fucked it up themselves. They got more focused on diving, time wasting, cheating, scumbag tackling bs instead of playing football. I dislike games ending in their favour because of those tricks way more than waiting for VAR decisions.

If we can buy it should be striker/forward, midfielder and LB. In that order Forward is absolute priority, Id actualy try for a more modern, versatile forward as opposed to a poacher type because there are no quality poachers/target men available. Jovic, Richarlison, Lautaro,... Midfielder because I hope Kovacic goes back to Madrid and we need someone new. Ndombele would be my pick. LB. Emerson is doing fine IMO, so just maybe I would give him another season to prove himself. He was fantastic in serie a with regular playtime, so maybe he can regain his form. If not then Chilwell. Keep James and Zouma as Zappa and Cahill replacements. Mount, Tomori and Abraham hopefuly get loaned in PL or french/german/spanish first league. Idealy I would also love to see Pepe here, because he would realy release some pressure from our striker, but board already wasted this chance with Pulisic purchase and I dont see us going for another winger, unless we sell Hazard. Willian, Pedro, Kovacic, Higuain, Zappacosta, Cahill can leave. I expect very nice amount of cash from Bakayoko, Morata, Batshuayi sales, so we can definately fund 3 top players.

I see, sorry about the missunderstanding. Yeah from that point I completely understand your pov.

Im no neutral, Im a Chelsea fan since I was 11. I have not seen it all, but enough to absolutely hate Pool (2005), United (2008), nevermind all the league games. When we play, I want them to lose worse than when we play other teams, but when its not releated to Chelsea, I dont care. I wont be affected in my country if Pool wins, because there are few Pool fans and whoever wins, the coverage will be about the same for any team. Idealy I dont want english team to win CL because we were the last to do it and it will ruin it. But Id much rather see us get back to the top than hope year after year Pool or United doesnt win it. I can however imagine you guys getting those yerk press tossed in the face all the time, never mind all Pool fans chat about it all year. That said, we are not realy competitive this year with Pool. When we go toe to toe, trust me Ill be hoping for their downfall. P.S. no I dont have favourite team in my country, football is shite here and completely one sided. The only club I actualy support is Chelsea. Also Lithuania didnt belong to yugoslavia, but I know what you meant. Yugoslavia nations are always massive rivals, but whenever someone wins, there is nothing but big respect from everyone. When we won euros in 2017, croats, serbs etc all cheered for us. But during games, its always mad rivalry. Its how I view stuff. When we play rivals, I want them to die haha. But if they play well and not releated to us, I will applaud them. It doesnt make me a neutral or any less Chelsea fan.

Man dont fuck around with Icardi. Lots of troublesome behaviour, worst agent in football and on top of all that he is slow and one dimensional. We need younger, quick, hard working and hungry attacker.
-
Years later it still sucks to remember that game. Or the one in Moscow. It did lead to the most magical run to Munich though
-
Maybe that kind of thinking is the reason why there is so much hate in football. Obviously such fans have to be banned or worse, but generalisation is bad. Its the reason why everyone now thinks Chelsea has racist fans, when in fact 95% arent. So yeah, Pool has a bunch of cuntish fans. Chelsea has those too. But why should I despise Liverpool performances, Salah, Firmino etc when they have nothing to do with that? One thing is what happens on the pitch. Whenever we play or if it helps Chelsea, Im 100% down to see their downfall. But anything else, I dont mind. The players themselves are big friends once they leave the pitch, its funny how the fans seem to be always way more hostile, when its usualy the players that get the cucked when teams lose, or opponent dives. If I see a good performance that doesnt hurt Chelsea, I will applaud. I absolutely despise Spuds when we play them, but tonight I simply enjoyed the match. I dont mind if Pool wins PL. Or if City. Or if it was anyone else. I equaly dont like seeing anyone win that title (unless its an odd one like Leicester) because its not Chelsea. Therefore I dont realy mind if its Pool or City this year. Idealy I dont want either but its got to be one. All I care though is that we finish top 4 (hardly tho). If we raced for title, then yeah I would celebrate Pool or City loss like a win for us. I get english (or uk based) fans though, its much bigger for you though since you live in such environment and get affected by many things.
-
I guess I have a soft spot for Salah. Firmino, Dijk, Mane, Robertson, Alisson, TAA, Wijnaldum are allright too. I despise Lovren, Milner, Henderson and especialy Fabinho after the shit he pulled on Hazard. That was disgraceful and ref didnt do anything and he saw it. As for Lallana, Moreno, Xerdan and other twats; they dont realy play much, I couldnt give a toss. However their performances (I admit I only saw Pool in CL and english derbies) have been mostly entertaining and they have won/played those games with quality football, rather than doing cuntish moves. Regarding all that victimpool, I dont live in england, dont read english newspapers and all that crap, so it doesnt affect me if they glorify Pool at all. English press is all bs, and everyone knows it. I stopped reading it a while ago when they begun with those clickbait titles and a baloney stories. Why even bother with that crap. We are for a long time most hated team in england, the only thing I wish is for us to get back on top. I miss the days when everyone hated us and we kept winning, making everyone even more pissed lol We talked on the pitch and thats all that matters.
-
Nah dont give a shit. Remember how Overbro fucked us back then. Would have 3 pens at least nowdays with var. I actualy smiled alittle when Pep reactions were shown. Karma is a bitch. City players didnt have any role in that barca game though, but hey it was their choice to join Peps City.
-
Reminds me of WC too when two best teams played in semis already and then the tournament would be won by whoever won that semi final (france, belgium). I get same feeling now. But Ajax impressed me more than Croatia and unlike Croatia, they eliminated two massive teams already while Cro had easy way.
-
I gotta say Im glad Im not so anti Pool as many others are. We are already having second bad season in a row which is bad, but if your super hated rivals also have amazing season on top of that, it has to be even worse. I will always appreciate teams that play good football, rivals or not. If they cheat, dive, have a team full of dicks or buy everything out there, thats a different thing then.
-
Btw can we buy him somehow? Kane is and always will be spuds loverboy and will play whenever fit. Maybe Son decides to move and what better than moving to club from same city with guaranteed starting #9 role
-
@Miguelito They got to a final last year already by playing super football. Pep chockes every year and they play like fucking mercenaries all the time. Nice football yeah, but I dont find any real passion in that team, bar maybe Aguero. They made it work with the likes of Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson. Not that I like those players at all, but Klopp managed to make them work because he created a proper team. All Pep is doing is spending cash to have 2 world class players in each position and when it doesnt work, he spends twice more on new replacement. Klopp could do the same with Wijnaldum, Fabinho or Keita who sucked in the start but he actualy managed them brilliantly and now they are key players. I simply prefer Pool style over Pep style. I already was big fan when he managed Bvb (first time I actualy realy wanted another club to win CL beside Chelsea) and now he made Pool play that way if not even better. Their front 3 are a joy to watch, they came as good players, but together they evolved so much its crazy. Pep is plain and simple a choker on the other hand. I already disliked him after they defeated Chelsea in most cheated game ever. And ever since, he prooved he isnt anything truly special. In bayern, he won mickey mouse league, sucked big time in CL and same with City where he spent shitload of cash to dwarf the likes of burnley because he has two starts for each spot in attack. Just like a spoiled kid. Seriously dont understand whats so special about Pep City. Sure they did follow Pep philosophy well, but he bought the league and in CL where teams actualy try to fight back, he gets destroyed every year. Last year he lost to Pool, this year to Spuds. Tells you enough how strong he actualy is in tough games even against english teams. He scored those PL records because he beaten low table teams. Its pretty clear that Pool and even Spuds are better side in competition. Everything about Psg or City is whats wrong with football nowdays. Obviously money is key, but they are literaly buying all there is. Kudos to Klopp who actualy spends alot on couple players and makes them work to perfection. No backup superstars, no replacing them after a season if they suck. And they are reaping the rewards. That said, City plays nice too, tacticaly stupid but still nice. However there is no enjoyment in that team due to reasons mentioned above
-
No discussion, hopefuly they beat Spuds.
-
Its going to be super unpopular here due to Pool cuntish fans and league rivalry but credit where its due; Liverpool deserve either PL or CL 10 times over City. Any of Ajax, Barca or Pool had some fantastic matches in europe this season. May the best one win.
-
Also Laporte. A definition why I still prefer good ol' reliable CB over these modern ball playing defenders who fuck up everything in key moments. You have a couple with strong character like Pique, Ramos, Van Dijk, De Ligt,..that still perform reliably enoug but 80% of these ball playing CBs are some of the biggest frauds in football that cost their teams in key times. Bonucci, Laporte, Stones, Christensen,..

As I said a while ago, City will get knocked out again and they did. Perhaps the best english team my ass United 99, 08, Chelsea 05, 10, Liverpool 06?, Arsenal invincibles were all miles ahead because back then the PL was actualy strong and they had great CL runs too. Beating Burnleys and Stokes or piss poor Chelsea, United, Arsenal is peak of what Pep City can achieve. And even then they are likely going to lose title to Pool. Imagine if Spuds beat City in PL again, within a week they would literaly destroy whole City season haha. As for semis, fantastic pairs. Pool-Barca will be a massive spectacle and Ajax will have a nice chance against Spuds without Kane and Son in first match.
-
Amateur level tactical mistakes from both teams Safe to say neither will win CL with this kind of defending
-
Well done Ajax. Amazing football, they completely owned Juve in the midfield. Imagine if Ajax went in this game thinking they dont have as good team as Juve and they can only get result if they park the bus. Still cant believe some were saying we dont have team good enough to match Pool and our only chance was to park the bus. Ridiculous.

I had hopes he will turn into what Etoo was for us, but he is just way too slow for any kind of serious impact. Watching him press is so sad. We desperately need a young, hard working, dynamic and quick forward. Doesnt even have to be very prolific right now. We can compensate that with buying someone like Pepe who can share goalscoring burden. Think Hazard(CHO/Pulisic?)-Lautaro-Pepe That would realisticaly give us 3 players that can score 20 per season in all comps, much better than having one goalscorer to do it all. We need to create a team with multiple scorers, so we become less predictable. I seriously dont want us to get a striker like Icardi who is slow poacher and would never fit this team. How would you rate Lautaro? He reminds me of Tevez. Jovic would be nice but he is probably a pipe dream. Maxi Gomez, Richarlison or Inaki could also work.
-
We should pick Chilwell. I dont even mind if we overpay for him. He is quick, good on both ends, quite intelligent and also english, used to PL tempo. If not him, then Mendy or Firpo. For RB, I hope we go with Azpi and James next season.
-
I havent been this unexcited about arriving player in a long time. I had bigger hopes for Schurrle back in the day.
-
Its because teams know that as soon they press us we look lost and start panicking. And they usualy start with blitzkriegs in the second half. When they do, I often expect us to concede in those phases.
-
Its obvious he will sell shirts, BUT it wont just happen and he will become star over there with everyone buying a shirt. If he flops big time, shirt sales wont be great and we wont make massive fanbase over there, with exception of the first couple ''hype'' months. We will either have to win stuff with him being important player or he will have to be individually brilliant (ala Hazard) to gain us massive popularity in USA in the long term. USA already hyping over Adams and McKennie, if Pulisic flops and those two rise, we can forget about creating Chelsea domination in USA. That said, I dont give a hell about our popularity in USA, would prefer if we actualy went for proven players that go along with our project.
