Well sure we will have Pulisic and CHO, but IMO it would be better if they learned from Hazard. Putting those two and expect they will do wonders might kill them mentaly. Idealy we would need someone like Pepe/Fekir/...to replace Hazard and lead our younger generation.

Yeah but people are naive if they think we will be a better team. In the end all it matters what version of us is better. It doesnt matter if its Hazard FC or team Chelsea FC, I dont mind us being Hazard FC if we get better results. Real fans thought their club will be better because they will play as equal team once Ronaldo leaves, but look what happened. Some teams work great as unit, ala Liverpool and some are better being dependant on one key player. We are the later because the rest of our squad simply doesnt have the quality. Maybe Willian, Pedro, Higs,...will put better performances once Hazard isnt here anymore, but that doesnt mean in the slightest that we will actualy win more games. If we could spend Hazard money on two quality players, thats another thing, because it would be more future prood, but due to ban we wont be able to do it for another year. Though even here more questions arise; if there are true quality players available, can we afford them, do they want to join us and is board even competent enough to pull it off.

I dont know if its because the expectations werent high, but IMO he is doing just fine. Not great, not bad, just ok. Dangerous when he gets a chance and decent linkup. We all knew he is slow though, so thats about it. I do feel way more comfortable when Higs goes 1v1 compared to Morata or Giroud. That however happens rarely. Higuain movement is good, but he isnt quick enough to escape the enemy, leaving us in less 1v1 vs the gk compared to Morata who had quite a few chances.

Indeed our fullbacks are awful. There is no width, no wing play because they dont overlap quickly enough. That forces us to either play through middle which is parked with opposing players or pass to wingers who end up isolated.

Our defenders are useless in these counter attacks. Two wolverhampton players broke our entire midfield and defence.

Eden, Luiz, CHO and other players must be kept at any cost. Thats pivotal right now. Hopefuly we can keep Higuain, I heard this is possible since we already have option to extend his loan for another year (unlike with Kovacic whose loan is set to end in summer). Recalling some players will be also important (Bats, Kenedy, Zouma,...) One great thing out of all this could happen with youth players though. James, Mount, Tammy, Ampadu, CHO, Tomori, Salter, Aina seem to be ready for at least part roles in this crisis. Hopefuly we count on them and not the likes of Drinkwater. Dont forget Pulisic is also arriving. Im quite dissapointed we didnt sign Barella in january because Kovacic is now obviously not going to be bought and we will lack one midfielder. Psg are massive massive chokers. First barca two years ago and now this. United was shite in offense, yet they managed 3 away in paris. If we bought Sane and Bernardo Silva, they would end up as flops too and later explode somewhere else. Both had difficult start in england, but both were given trust by Pep, he didnt sell them and now they are world beaters. Its all about adjusting them and showing them they have a place in the squad. Agree with most, but Spuds beating anyone? They will choke soon. Also I dont give flying f about Juve.
