Aguero type of striker fits to team that passes a lot (we do) but also has at least 1/2 other players that can regulary score (at city its either Dzeko/Tevez/Balo). Aguero type of striker comes to use as he can also dribble and assist to other players, not just score. But in our team, there are NO finishers. Mata, Hazard, Moses,...are not natural finishers. Mata scores lot but he also misses more. What is the point of having Aguero type of striker who will assist to Mata or Hazard who cant take their chances? In our team, not only striker is required, but also someone from midfield that can score too! Reus for example is such player... We dont have any finishers in the team and we will definately play on our striker and build around him. Cavani would be perfect for this as he can also returns, holds up the ball, has strenght, aerial threat and great finishing.

Cavani, Falcao, Jovetic, Bony,...one will come in january for sure. I dont care who and for how much, we might even promote Feruz. As long our new striker will be scoring goals and lead the line, we will make step forward. FACT.

He also said Torres can regain his form, etc. but we all know he is total shit nowdays. People that are friends will always praise each other, just because Falcao's former coach said he couldnt flop anywhere, it doesnt mean he actualy wont. Perhaps the team would suit him, the playstyle or he could pick injury. He is also already 26 and in august/september/october he played best football of career. He can remain on same level, but he probably wont go up. Sure, he is already on top level, thats why.

Its not the question if Falcao will come in jan or not, but if he comes, will he actualy be that good? He hasnt score in last five matches (pens dont count) and he somehow dipped in form-doesnt do anything realy good in team, besides scoring. If he doesnt score, he is more or less invisible, but still big player anyway.

I would seriously want a manager that knows what exactly to do. Someone that has clear plan on what style we will play, what formation, will youth players be involved or is he going to spend big on new players... With unstable manager and clueless board, I dont think we will buy players that will actualy fit to our play in next two years. We already fucked up couple players, that are good and I like them, but are somehow useless like Rambo, Danny,... I think we should sign Cavani, maybe recall Kdb (and play him), proper winger (Sanchez, Dzsudzsak, Bale,...), and give chance to Chalobah, Ake, Feruz, Piazon, Mceachran (once he returns), Bamford. Maybe we should also sign Barkley, he looks promising english talent.

With money we have, anyone good would suceed in couple seasons. Avb, Rdm, Ancelotti, Mourinho,...even Saf wasnt best in beggining. But I would prefer someone classy, someone that had healthy relationship with our club in past, someone that can create nice sucessful football team, respected and loyal. Pep for example. But the board should stay from transfer decisions and let it to manager. Only then, we would have players we need and that are required to improve and extend squad as whole. Please get Pep in summer, and let him do the job alone. Sign striker that suits us, backup striker, winger, CM, maybe CB and LB and involve our youth players in team. Do that in two-three seasons, and we should have well organised club. But sure board will fuck this up again, because they are not patient.

Cant agree more. We have 23 players, but half of them is missing something vital to our team. Rambo has energy but lacks touch, Mikel has strenght but lacks pace and stamina, Mazacar has creatuvity, but lacks balance, finishing and game-changing decisions, we have no striker,... Our DM should be both fast and skilled in defending, but we have to play with two DMs to do that (Rambo and Mikel). And there is no space for a creative CM in double pivot. We should play with wingers and some strenght and crossing in middle to powerful striker. Personaly, despite how great Oscar signing was, he is not the kind of player we needed (CM or winger). Board should stop looking after talented young players, but after players we NEED. With long term manager with full support and trust, we would have much better team now.

If he would play lot, I dont see why would this stall his progress if he returns from loan in january. If he wont play enough, I dont see why would we recall him in first place.,,

Shaarawy scored two more goals yesterday vs Catania, now already at 12 goals in Serie A. What a player at 20 yrs old only, right now best in form striker along Ibra, RVP and Falcao.

Wilshere for CM would be absolutely epic signing. English, young, versatile, PL proven. Great deep lying playmaker and could become leader in few years. But unless we offer 40-50mio for him, I dont see it happening...

We will lose 3:0. That said, at least I cant be dissapointed again. We transition and I can understand why such results, you didnt thought we will be winning all time with such young team?

Personaly I would go after better player, but if we get him and he turns great, I will be even more happy. But the risk is huge and he is not decently proven scorer even in Ukraine...

BALAZS DZSUDZSZAK Surprised no one mentioned him. 25 years old, proven long shot scorer and crosser. Had bad season at anzhi, but is fantastic now in Dinamo Moscow. Very versatile, can play both sides on wings or as LM/RM. For 14mio I would take him imediately. We lack of crossing specialist and player that can shot from distance. Him or Reus would be perfect. Add scorer like Cavani or Jovetic and our attack is fixed.

Romeu is some talent, but just because he is playing for us, he is not good enough. Once he will shine and you will eat your words, I just hope he stays at this club...

German Messi Seriously, Marin has some skill/style similar to Messi, but he is not as efficient. With enough games, he could turn in very fine player.

Lets be honest, with all the striker problems, Mata, Hazard and Oscar are not doing the job now. Simple as that. They are trying, but are useless at the moment. But Torres is shit too, I cant wait till january...

Sometimes I think of how good will this players be in next 6 years or so. This guy could be next Messi in 2018 or just a forgotten talent... Right now, I heard for him the first time, but in couple of years, it could become name that we will hear all the time. How fast the time goes and how everything changes...

If we play Oscar in CM, I would love to see a winger in attacking trio, rather than another lightweight CAM. Bale or Sanchez would be awesome, they can offer big speed and Bale tracks back too. Bale-Hazard-Mata Oscar-Mikel/Romeu Or maybe even Jovetic/Fellaini. But another small playmaker is not what we need now. Another option is Kdb, dont forget him. He looks stronger player than Mazacar trio, could operate well in CM position, but maybe its too deep for him. Hopefuly, we try 4:3:3 too eventualy with Mikel as DM, Rambo and Oscar as CMs and Hazard/Mata as wingers. Marin, Kdb, Romeu would be enough for rotation along new CM/winger.

Lulic seems like very good versatile player and perfect for rotation. But definately not a starter, at least not yet.

We are fourth now and we need victory. I expect tight win, but Rafa is known to lose points against 'smaller' teams. Everything is open, but win is MUST if we want to keep fight for top places. It would give us some boost and confidence. Its realy 50:50, but I just cant see another draw or defeat...

The perfect double pivot should be something like De Rossi-Modric (just example) De Rossi as classic DM with great positioning, strenght, tacklink, movement, marking and more defensive style. Very reliable and experienced. Good ball control, shots on goal, long passing, even vision. Modric as more creative, DPL. With better passing, going forward and linking midfield with attack. Still decent at tackling and positioning. --- What we have is energy (Rambo) and strenght (Mikel). I guess we stucked with them, but there should be more creativity indeed.

With Barca B (or just LaMassia) success isnt only because of their talent, philosophy or training, but also the fact that they play in Segunda division. Like Chelsea B would play in Championship. I bet we would have 2 new promoted players from youth team every year. But now in England, you cant gain experience as you do in Spain. FA should make something similar, it works.
