Actualy they both can play in 4:2:3:1 behind striker... ---------striker-------- Neymar-Aguero-Xxx --------xxx-xxx------- Aguero is CAM at City and Neymar is winger/LCAM at Santos/Brasil. But both can play on wings, as strikers or second strikers.

Striker is priority. Its up to club if they will splash cash or wait for new manager to chose big stiker and niw buy someone cheap until summer. I hope we get Bony as cheap or Cavani as expensive. In case Danny goes, we probably need two strikers. The second one should be cheap, but good enough for rotation. CM also needs improvement, however KDB is coming in summer. I think we should buy Fernandinho/Inler/Vidal/XXX. Someone who will lead midfield, is experinced, wont give up and runs forever. Every team needs heart in midfield and we dont have it yet. Mata is too unbalanced right now. We dont need CB or LB/RB this winter. Some strenght would come handy. Fellaini could come, but Im not sure about him too much. If we get strong CM, then this is not required. KDB could be recalled to add some rotation Mazacar, but there are Marin and Moses already. ------- My personal opinion is that we will go after top striker (Romans obssesion, but also a need right now). Falcao is most available from big money strikera at moment. We lack some strenght in midfield. Possibly with experience from Epl already. Vidal is not available, Fernandinho was not linked, De Rossi too expensive, Inler not linked etc. Fellaini is probably the most possible target. If we sell Danny, we probably buy Bony for 10mio (I guess Danny sale would be around 20mio - he still has lot of potential, is young and english). We will spend big - striker 50mio, Fellaini 20 and possibly Bony 10. We get 20 back (and hopefuly something for Torres). 60mio spend is not that much. However I hope Danny stays.

We finaly scored for fun. In EL, we will have a chance to play our younger players more, they should gain some experience from there. Also our new players (Mata, Hazard, Oscar,..) are now past heavy test that they failed this time, but will learn from it. We actualy had most goals scored in group stage, that isnt so bad. Consider we had better striker... All in all, with 21yrs olds, a bad striker and both leaders (Terry, Lamps) injured, we couldnt change much. I think we screwed the first match vs Juve when we were leading 2:0 and then only draw. Shakhtar away was tough game, even Barca plays bad there, Juve away was result of bad form from heavy schedule, Juves experience, our inexperience. We were lucky we won Shakhtar at home too. Congrats to Juve and Shakhtar, I hope we learn something from this year. We were flying too high with all this champions of europe...We dont have Drogba anymore, Lamps is side player now and this team is still in transition, they are not champions yet. Cheers people

We are leading 6-1 yet playing so hard... give them some break its not going to be anything different...
-
At least we are running nice show at SB and if that means goodbye from CL this year, it will be ''nice'' one.
-
Shakhtar is losing....
-
Funny game I have bad feeling that shakhtar-juve is agreed to end with draw...

With proper manager that has vision, Kdb, Josh, Oscar,... will all be used properly and evolved to max. However, a manager with no clue will ruin them for sure. He wont know how and where to use them and stall their progress. Hopefuly we will fix manager issue in summer.
-
Well he might be DM too but as player he is best as SS or CAM. However he is not improvement over Mikel at DM, he doesnt even play there this year... Hernanes is beast this year, would be good adition to CM position...
-
If he only had better running machine, that seems to be only disadvantage at him. Cuz when he is tired, he plays only 50% of abilities.
-
Fellaini is not fuckin DM! How will he replace Mikel, I dont get it...he could only pair Mikel or play in attacking trio.
-
Ah If Roman gets bored, there are Pep Guardiola, Simone from Atletico, Clark from Wba, Zdenek Zeman, etc. that can be brought in...
-
If we win World cup and finish 3rd I will be just happy. That was my 'goal' from start of the season, considering the new players we have. Anything else will be bonus. BUT we need to play with more heart and passion, that is what I miss most right now.

If we change a manager yet again, its going to be laugh from all ends. Goodbye at least a bit of respect left...

I cant imagine another expensive flop to come, so maybe an alternate option is always good to take. Personaly, I would either take Cavani (if we will pay big), Jovetic or Shaarawy (if we will pay medium) or Bony if we will pay ''cheap''. Bony at the moment would feel best option. We dont have a manager that would exactly know what striker we need and might spend big on completely useless player in januar. Once we will have permament manager (like Pep), he will know who to buy and even if that particular player will cost fortune, he will fit our system and manager will teach him well, so it wont be flop. Besides we will probably need some depth in striker area, and Bony seems to fit that bill. If he excels, he will be starter and next world class striker, if he does decent, we will still have chance to buy top striker in summer with Bony as backup. Its always good to have backup like Bony. Also Bony seems to be quite a Chelsea fan and is excited about joining us, he wont have that pressure and probably would fit us just fine, as he has strengh, speed, dribbling and finishing. Sure he would need to addapt, but could do a Michu and start scoring for fun.

Anzhi is reportedly interested in him. Yay!
-
Yeah, but we are Chelsea and Im sure Roman will go after big player in january...
-
Well then fine, but I dont see someone like Bent to save our season. We probably wont sell Torres or Danny, so having Bent, Danny, Torres and someone like Bony makes no real sense. Its pointless, as long Torres will be here as only big money player, Roman will force Rafa to play him. If we loan or buy Bent he will be sub, Danny will be third striker. Bony on other hand, could prove himself and get starting position. Sure Bent could do that to, but we cant know until someone actualy comes in.
-
Yes, they are different flops I agree, we fucked up with Torres big time. I wish there would be some Anzi, Guanghzou or AL-whatever that would be ready to pay at least 15mio for ''Big name'' Torres. Back on topic now.
-
You missunderstood, I dont defend Torres (fuck him realy) or blaming Bent for having or not having service. Both have been bad in last two seasons. Bent scored 17 goals at Sunderland (there was not much service to him at such club) but at Villa, he became average. Torres is shit for past three yrs too. Im saying Bent wouldnt fix our problems realy, what we need now. United has RVP, City has XYZ, we would have Bent? I agree he would do better than Torres, but he is not what we need. And buying him wont fix our problems or make us win crucial games. And btw, you realy think just cuz the player is not PL proven, he wont be good imediately or will be extra expensive? One word - Michu. 2 mio and is top scorer with 10 goals so far. We should seriously get Bony if we are loking for cheap alternative option, he has atributes to be great in PL, or at least as good as Bent and younger.
-
Well he scored only 2 goals this season, and he played regulary for first two months. Then he fall out of favour...Last year he scored only 9 goals. Not much better than Torres realy. Just cuz Torres is bad, not everyone will be better than him. Remember, Torres was great scorer too once...Bent had great season two yrs ago, with 17 goals, but that was that. Nothing special since... We should either try someone big (Cavani,...) or someone cheap, but in good form and talent like Bony, Jovetic (he would still cost 20mio less than Falcao or Cavani),...
-
Fuck Fellaini, Inler is the beast. Guy is scoring outside penalty area goals for fun, yesterday put two more to his count. In his prime age, fast, strong, powerful player. Great at tackling and going forward. Not typical DPL or DM, but a mix of both. Get him in package with Cavani. Should fix our problems sure.
-
Regarding PSG paid 40mio, he is a flop. And whoever would buy Pastore now, he is not worth more than 20mio. Thats half of what Psg paid for. And no one would even pay 20mio for Pastore anyway. There are reports several italian teams are interested, but only for loan options.
-
Well Torres for 50 and Pastore for 40 (to Psg) were flops of decade. To think that we were close to sign Pastore back then freaks me out even more. Stuck with Torres and Pastore for 90mio would be fucking dissapointing...thank god there are clubs like Psg that have even more clueless boards than us...
