Oscar simply suits better to our current team under Mou. Otherway Mata is world class example that would bench Oscar in a team that plays offensive football with lot of possesion and has things FIXED (what are roles of pivot players and wingers etc., here we cant play with Mata because half of the team isnt working enough in defensive actions). Mata might lack bit of defensive skills, but in team where 8/9 other players are capable of high pressing, his flaw would be minimal. Hazard, Willian, Lampard, Torres arent half as hard working as they should be. Mou is fixing that though. Mata is CAM. He is better than Kagawa, Cazorla, Kross, Gotze, Isco,...he isnt as complete, but he is the guy that will create 10 clear goal chances, while others will make 2. His pure creative side, vision and game control are superb over current Oscar and might be even when Oscar reaches peak. However he doesnt have that energetic approach and defensive skill like Oscar has and that is why he isnt playing atm under Mou. Our football style was actualy better last season, we were more attractive and contoled game. Now, we are winning, but opponents outplay us in control. Yesterday, schalke had fucking 60% of ball possesion. Possesion doesnt win you game, but it shows who controls the game. And considering we spend 80mio every summer and have players like Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Willian, I expect from Mou to make us a team with football that is attractive and nice to watch. And asking what team Mata would suit? Borrusia, United (you compare Kagawa to Mata lol, and its Moyes fuckin problem that he is stupid and doesnt play Kagawa at all),...

Stop with this "he could potentialy in parrarel universe play in CM position despite he never realy did" bullshit. And Chelsea isnt club for developing talents and making them something else. Schools is one in million, but he had long support from Saf aswell. At Chelsea, you have one shot; make it or break it. We wont magicaly make Koke a CM. Simply sign someone who is playing this position all career. Even for premium, we have money afterall. We signed Oscar because of that thought, but kid is best at CAM. Koke is very fine player, but far from what we need. He isnt close to Xabi mould (what we need) and that means no-go.

Considering that he doesnt see Mata as long term integral player, is there a chance that we might start to play in 4:3:3? The answer to our double pivot, should we play with Rambo is either Vidal/Pogba/Witsel type of player. They are strong, can control midfield, very good passers and cover big area.

His potential is very Makelele like. He might have different body structure, but his abilities are same. He has superb ball control, balance and vison, he can tackle and is very strong. At this age, he is showing impressive skills already and seems to have right character (bit cocky, but a hard worker too). Should he stay couple more years in juve and learn from brilliant Pirlo how to control game and tempi and understand tactical part of game (which should, considering he plays in Serie A), he will be hell of a player. This kind of player could eventualy become key to any team, just like Makelele was despite Real having all those stars, he was the motor. And such complete midfielders are very rare nowdays.

Should Lewa be available, I would say he is most important and top priority in summer. He will be FREE and there are not many strikers like him out there, or we would have to overpay.

If Mata was playing for some other team, I would want him because he is great player and person. And why would he be center of any team? Messi is center of Barca, but does it make Iniesta or Xavi less important? Mata would improve any team in premier league, mind that. Its thes same Mata that was probably best CAM of last season in the EPL/europe. Just because Jose said Mata needs to improve and benched him, you follow Jose like sheep and forgetting how superb Mata was for last two seasons.

Never go full retard Besides, Juve was linked with Mata, they would let Pirlo go and play Pogba in his position, while Mata would play behind Tevez as either playmaker (someone has to take that part after Pirlo leaves) and sure Mata knows how to score aswell. Its the fucking pressure that club is putting on our key player again. Thats why Mata isnt playing well enough. There is a lot of talk about Fabian Schar who could replace Hummels at bvb eventualy. Schar and Dragovic are two very promising CBs, both played for Basel.

Seems he is hitting his form again, scored nice goal vs CSKA, his 7th in 7 games, plus 3 assists.

As soon Terry goes, we defo need to find a defender in mould of Silva. Someone who is experienced not to make stupid mistakes, keeps himself in defence and not going forward. Not easy task, but Varane is quality that may have not much experience, but still enough and his skill and speed are best. Ramos is quite similar to Luiz and its said enough that when Varane plays, Real has much stronger defence. Also Varane seems to be huge pal of Mourinho. But Real has no reason to sell and Varane has no reason to join us, unless he would get benched at Real or sth.

Hazard brilliant, Etoo great but could finish that chance before first goal alone, Terry brilliant again, Oscar with another superb finish. Luiz was just terrible though, that first goal mistake is unforgivable for someone that you want to depend on.
