It was never just about the strikers but also about our style of game. Our attacking midfielders despite all their talent dont know how to create chances for strikers. Yes there are chances that strikers fail to score, but in general, just for example you dont see such pass like Sterling made to Sturridge last time. We dont have striker suited system and that is a fact. Maybe with more experience, new fullback and possible new CM and obviously striker, we might score more goals through striker, but still, even if we get Cavani or Suarez or whoever, he will never score 30 PL goals, maybe not even 20 per season...

Perhaps a cheeky bid for Rvp in summer? He is 30 and if Manu miss on CL for next year, he might go to a team where he can win something before getting too old. A 10mio bid and if Rvp wants to move should be enough. He is still class striker, cunt, but would fit in the team perfectly. He wasnt his best this year but still scored 11 goals in 15 games in PL, he would do well for another two years and then Lukaku might be ready.

Not what we need IMO. He is prospect; but not nearly ready to be our starter, specialy not in such important role as DM. And we need to imporove our midifeld. For a bench player he wouldnt be good either, he needs regular playtime and he is too expensive to be just on the bench...

As goes for who was guilty for that Anichiebes goal...well in first place, we should be 3 goals up already but we fucked up and they got a deserved draw. I always knew there will be moment when we will be linked with Varane. He is Mourinhos pal and only problem was that he was playing regular at Real. Ancelotti did us a favour by putting Varane on bench and play Ramos-Pepe. But there is problem, called Zidane.

That isnt excuse for when he has the ball in attacking third but does nothing with it. Ribery, Di Maria, Hazard xyz track too and they still produce in final third. If Willian has actualy work too much in defence, its Jose problem for limiting him too much and giving him too much of defensive tasks. He is fucking attacking winger, not a DM. But Willian is always terribly positioned, always going in middle, instead of staying on wing and providing width. He doesnt create much and his finishing is terrible. There is little excuse that he plays in PL for the first time, but as soon as next season starts, and if he will be our starter, I expect him to be that 35mio creative attacking winger we spend money on. Willian and Oscar. They both need to improve in final third. Everyone tracks nowdays. Including Iniesta or Gotze or Muller or anyone else. But they also produce in final third. Drastic moves, sell Mikel and give Chalobah a chance whenever Mikel would get it. That is how you make way for youth players. Not loaning them to some small forgotten championship clubs. He will stay for couple of years atleast. But eventualy could leave I think. Mourinho plays high pressing system and his tactics are always bit defensive (trying to keep 1:0 lead etc). Eden could get tired of such results and games, even if we would win couple of trophies because of it. With Rooney extending, Falcao injured, Balo still immature, Cavani too expensive and on and on, Costa is the most realistic striker we might target in summer. Unless hell breaks and we splash 70 odd mio for Cavani, Costa is the best we can get in summer. He isnt my fav choice, his character is wrong, and I feel his skill is way too simple, never scores more advanced goals (like free kicks, long range shots etc) but he might just be what we need. He can score goals and can play that motherfucker no one can break in attack. Lets all hope it works out well.

Hah both of you are exagerrating. He isnt best midfielder in the world (duh) but neither was that his only good performance this season. He has been good everytime he played. But definately he isnt the one CM we need, nor is he the available one.

I hear lot of people hear he is world class and wonderful player to come here etc...but you forget one thing. He plays for Bayern, their possesion based football is completely diferent than ours. Bayern played our style last year and Kroos was important but not nearly half as important and good as he is this year. Bayern this year plays possesion and passing football where Kroos has no other job but to pass/shot and create. Try Kroos in our system, where we play on counters and Toni is teribly slow runner, and to say he isnt exactly hard worker. If any, we would need injury-free Gundogan who is faster and much better suited to counter football; on and off the ball. But heck, Toni wont come anyway, Bayern wont sell him and he wont leave them.
