  1. He aint gonna take any shit. Either that will be the end of him or he will make our players bleed blue.
  2. Man thats gold cup. McKennie is having a blast tournament too, arguably even more consistent than Pulisic. He is basicaly too doing what you praise Pulisic for. Stop making his role as if he is guiding USA to world cup title. Their games in europe will show their value. Obviously you will compare them. We lost a starting winger and we had to bring a replacement. So what if he is young? Dembele was young. De Ligt is young. Sancho is young. Joao Felix is young. And they would all be compared to senior players because they are good enough. Age is just number, you are either ready or not. But I shouldnt compare him to Willian? Why? Are you admiting Pulisic isnt big talent? Because if he was, you would gladly compare him to our other wingers and not look excuses with his age. If we bought Mbappe, you'd compare him to Willian too, even if he is like 20. Its all about the level of quality. We forked 60m on Pulisic and if he isnt first team material, but just some young future kiddo, then how can you justify 60m tag? Did we just pay that so we can still play Willian and Pedro? And if he is considered first team material, then he should be compared to Willian and Pedro, because the better ones will play games.
  3. I only sad the gold cup performances mean little. Why are you comparing Bundesliga teams now? Obbiously he had some good games in BL against good sides. I never said he is shit or plays well only against average sides. But since you mention BL, lets not disregard the fact that he was benched by Larson. Obviously he had injury in the start, but he recovered and still didnt get ahead of Larson, not to mention Sancho. Hopefuly you dont find Montenegro on same level as Haiti either. Montenegro is at least twice better team with couple serie a, ligue 1, la liga players. Do people even know how bad gold cup teams are with exception of Mexico? And still I dont take anything from CHO game vs Montenegro. Its a step in his career. I dont rate him higher or lower because of that. I have high hopes because he delivered in PL and Europa, not because he got a good/bad game for national team. Pulisic is ok talent, he isnt spectacular. He may reach high levels one day, but of all players we could pick better one for roughly 60m. Or worse one. Lets see how he does in PL. As I said many times, he didnt convince me so far. But lets not pretend he is some massive talent. He might become great player, but he shown little so far. Even for a 21 year old. There are many players who are very good already at that age and cost 60m, not just potential.
  4. I didnt say he isnt good signing, I just find it funny how people see Pulisic rip Haiti apart and then post stuff like "yeah he is going to be some player" while at same time they are probably disliking Willian. If he flops, will I get a cookie for being right to doubt the signing? Obviously not. So no I dont want to write over and over that he didnt convince me. However people here get off to some petty highlights and I will try to reason them to save the later dissapointment which is possible. And if Im wrong and he rips the league apart, yippee because Chelsea will benefit the most then.
  5. Welcome back Lamps Hopefuly he gets the time to prove himself even if the results dont kick immediately. He could be instrumental for our youth. Much like Pep was at Barca.
  6. Honestly I would not. But if he does underperform ugainst pub teams or in general for Chelsea, then I will. Im not even paying that much attention to gold cup, because there is only one country with quality team. Im just pointing out it makes no sense to praise Pulisic as super talent when he does a tornado or zidane turn against some jamaica or haiti whos defence aint even on the level of english championship. To watch that highlight and then say he is going to be super player at chelsea is the dumbest thing if you want to rate a player. Im not saying he will flop or wish he flops, but gold cup is a joke tournament mate. I will judge him when he plays in PL and then say I was wrong or right about him.
  7. So far he only played against a bunch of pub teams in gold cup. The only good team there is Mexico, so lets see how he does in the final.
  8. Some players do. Kante for example. Ndombele has all the tools to quickly adopt to EPL. He is quite unique. Technique of Kovacic but way way better athlete. Im surprised Psg or Real didnt snatch him up.
  9. The problem with Lamps appointment is that the decision came from our club being sort of forced to do it due to ban and everything. The decision didnt came because the board would deliberately set a new plan with Lamps, youth etc. Why? If things go south, we will sack Lamps and just appoint the next man that will reduce the damage. And he might be someone completely opposite of integrating youth. That collapses all the faith young players have who just signed/will sign extensions because of Lamps appointment. If Lamps appointment and youth integration was our core plan, we might replace Lamps eventualy, we could buy players etc, but that core plan would still be there. Youth would get the chance. Now its all just a short term fix because thats the easiest and best way to go right now due to ban. Next summer we could change the narrative again and start buying players left and right. Because why not. Lets just pretend they never gave young players promises they will get the chance now that Lamps, Morris are at the club with plan to give youth a chance. Last year was Sarriball, this year is youth integration, next year we might revert to pragmatic manager again. If we appointed Lamps, it better be because we have set the new long term plan with youth and not just because this is a flavour of the month and best getaway for this season.
  10. He chokes 8/10 times. Gets bullied around. He may be the most talented, but his realisation is worse than Giroud. So he is hardly our best striker. All in all, whats most important with every striker is fear factor. Morata has none of that.
  11. Bakayoko exclusively geared up when he dribbled past opponents, otherwise his play wasnt dynamic at all. Ndombele moves all the time. When on the ball, when off the ball. As for composure, I find Ndombele very promising, much better than Bakayoko. I remember when we got Bakayoko, i was believing in him, but I pointed out his ball control, first touch and composure have to develop big time. Seeing Ndombele, I dont have that opinion at all because he is way more quality on the ball. He has different issue and thats identity. He isnt DM, he isnt realy hard working b2b and he isnt realy creative. So he will have to polish a certain role or he may end up unproductive. But he has strength, speed, techique. All the tools to succeed in PL and I think he will. What is most important, Poch wont just dump him if he doesnt deliver after one season IMO. He can progress slowly.
  12. Bakayoko was all power. He used his strength to dribble past entire midfields there. And he was good DM. He turned into a complete donkey in PL, but maybe mentality played a part too because he was quite good in first games like spuds or atletico. Ndombele is way more offensive and creative. Smooth on the ball, has good technique and pethaps the most importantly, he is very dynamic which is complete opposite of Bakayoko. He bossed city along Aouar with amazing first touches, agression, ball control and passing abilities. If you compare that to Bakayoko vs city, he used his body and blasted through their midfield and retaken possession better, but he wasnt dynamic and smooth on the ball like Ndombele. Ndombele may end up not enough productive if anything, but he surely wont have trouble with pace or power of PL.
  13. Officialy to spuds. They got great player. I think he will absolutely boss the midfield in few seasons.
  14. Atletico basicaly just thrown 120m to develop a player who will leave to a bigger club if he develops well and generate some profit, but if he flops, they will never sell him for even half. Sure they are losing Griezmann, but you would think they will invest smarter. They lost Lucas, Juanfran, Godin and Luis which is basicaly their entire defence, plus Rodri. And their best player Griezmann. Now they bought kid who done jackshit in his career, a 32 year old CB Filipe and just above average Llorente from Real. Its funny how all these clubs have more cash than ever but they have become so dumb.
  15. I dont want to say that he is great or not, but I would never rate the players from their national team performances. There were so many players that exploded at world cups, euros, copas,...and then failed completely. For me its all about club football and their performances there. Have a strong season or two and then you can evaluate them.
  16. Why does it matter? We still spent 600m and for that money you get couple world class players. If you look at our squad, its piss poor in most areas.
  17. Neymar is always injured in key times, so they benefit alot if they keep Dembele healthy. Umiti is also great long term solution for Silva replacmement. Add 100m to that and it looks smart long term deal for them. They can spend it on striker. However marquee departures like Neymar can lead to other key players wanting to leave too; like Mbappe.
  18. Petr: "....that is why player A would be great addition for our club. " Marina: "ok Petr, we will buy player B. " Anyway welcome back legend
  19. Its either this or he is a coward. He literaly said he wanted to go back to his people, which is the same thing Courtois talked about. And then he says Hazard was great and we are quality, but Juve is on whole new level and too good opportunity to pass. Its funny how you defend him when he literaly shown chelsea the middle finger and left. Sure it makes the perfect sense to go for bigger contract in your country. But you got to finish this job. I wonder if we signed a player last year and he would want to leave after one year because someone would offer better contract and we had ban, so he would think of where he has a better project and decide to leave. Youd probably think of him the worst.
  20. I cant agree here. Yes when we played well, it was better. For example the final arsenal game or start of the season. It was great. But thats about 10% of games. The rest was dogshit boring side passing with no creativity, no shots, no plan B, same subs and tactics all over. I never ever stopped watching Chelsea games before even if we were losing badly or played boring. But last season there were games where I actualy fell asleep or went doing something else. Why? Because neighbours dog could tell you we aint turning it around or scoring. And we actualy didnt.
  21. He coached napoli only and won absolute fuck all, yet he thinks he is bigger than Chels all of a sudden. One ban, some boos and he decides to return to italy for easier challenge. No fucking wonder he cant motivate for shit with that sort of attitude.
  22. Why did he play in midfield for USA?
  23. Cant believe how people respect this guy and at same time shit on lets say Courtois. Both are in the same bracket. He just fucked off because he got better offer and fancier players over there. Already stating he is now in much bigger club and shit. All this homesickness is one bs too. He just went for Juve because he will have easier work there with better players. I understand his motives, but the dude is like one of those pricky big ego players that ditch the club the moment something goes wrong. I have never seen a top manager pull that shit. He came here for 3 years, got support from board and then decides to ditch the ship after one season. Was he offended that fans booed him? Well no fucking wonder if he played most boring football I have ever seen. Even Mou at his worst was more entertaining. And dont get me even start with 3rd place because that was the biggest fluke ever. Other teams dropping even more points than us. He does deserve the EL title though, but thats EL. I hope we meet them in CL and Jorginho scores winning goal. That would teach this ungrateful fucker a lesson.
  24. Also his mom had to take for 8 kids after father died. Nothing but good wishes for all of them.
