When you have full backing from a manager and you know you wont be dropped after shit game or two, so you can play relaxed; wonderful things can happen.

Norwich caused more danger to Liverpool than Arsenal did. Also United was strong only against us, but struggled vs Wolves and Palace. Spuds are strong indeed with plenty variety upfront, but looked very poor against city. In what world exactly have Wolves and Everton better attack than Norwich though? Richarlison, Siggurdson, Jota and Jimenez have been incredibly poor so far. Maybe you are pointing for the whole season, but I was clear when I said at this moment, not when this or that guy settles in. Or you are just throwing these teams because they have bigger star players than norwich. Everyone else is impressed how fluid canaries look in attack (super shit defence though). If we werent as inefficient, Id count Chelsea next to City, Pool and Norwich, then come spuds, arsenal and the rest of the league that hasnt been impressive at all yet.
-
They broke through our midfield very easily in the first half. You'd think we play against prime barcelona. They didnt get in clear chances, but they always looked dangerous. Second half, we realy pressed them out of the game. Could be that norwich simply ran out of ideas/bad execution too. But overall I was happy with what I saw in second half. There was little danger for us. And the type of subs we made might be very important for us this season. Score more than opponents and then bring defenders on to keep that lead. Because its likely we wont have many clean sheets and with all young players, we also lack experience to safely bring points home.

He wears #10. He better score hattrick in those minutes.
-
Norwich attack is probably 3rd best right now after City and Pool and we managed to completely shut them down in second half. Very happy with it. Also cant wait for Odoi to come back and completely shut Willian out of the game. Absolutely disastrous cameos from brazilian.
-
Took two great shots and not bad holdup. Its his 3rd match, plenty of room to improve. If you arent happy with his product so far, then okay.
-
Abraham is obviously never going to be good enough
-
Norwich is playing some brasil football type shit. Expect more goals from them. I just hope we outscore them.
-
I have Pukki and Cantwell in my FPL team. I got him and Cantwell in my fantasy football so its not all gloomy for me with current result😄

Youth proving doubters wrong
-
It will man, it will. If we dont win shit this year, we will likely establish at least two youth players that will help us win trophies in the next 5-10 years.
-
Putting all those eggs in youth.
-
Pukki will probably score against us, so hopefuly we are more clinical this time. Its an absolute must win.
-
Yaay great news. Cant wait for him to be back.
-
I was expecting kungfu clearance and then the ball bouncing back into Leicester goal. Turned out into casual clearance and then nothing. Dissapointed.
-
Well done kiddo. Dont know bout you guys, but seeing our youth play well and promising brings me almost as big smille as winning trophies.
-
I dont mind shit appearance. He was injured and not full fitness. Any player can look shit and out of depth in that case. BUT the nonchalant and arrogant attitude about him is what I cant stand. Coming on and not giving two shits. He should be the leader of our attack. But nah, he casualy pulls the worst mentality possible. It throws bad vibe to other younger players next to him on the pitch and also to those on the bench who would fight more. I just hope Odoi gets starting spot as soon as he recovers.
-
Losing is part of development. And its not like we will lose every game. Smaller clubs lose way more and they usualy produce best talent. Participating in CL and gaining european experience is also invaluable.
-
Well if you want him to improve, you have to play him. We honestly dont fight for trophies, so let just give them playtime. Its not like Giroud is going to score every game either.
-
And his long balls arent bad either. I was shocked after his Utd display, but he is getting to level where I said he is our best pure defender.
-
I never said Tammy will be great striker. But I think its stupid to say he is never going to be good enough based on few games. If we have this conversation at the end of the season when Tammy will have plenty games to show how good/average/bad he is, then I can easily agree he should be only a bench option. Jovic stinked in Benfica, but exploded in Frankfurt. It can happen. It probably wont, but there is small chance worth taking given that we dont realy have anyone more promising (Bats is about the same, but he had couple of seasons at the top already and didnt convince anyone)
-
Its weird seeing so much pessimism here. We play well but we have trouble scoring. Its a problem that can be fixed. Id be much more worried if we couldnt even create like last season. Defending will be a bitch this season but thats something we will have to strenghten in summer. Our midfield and attack show plenty of promise though and if we sort that out, I think its going to be fine season.
-
As long Lamps doesnt play Willian, Pedro all the time, we will be fine. Those two and Azpi are some of the worst chance creators out there. I knew they were bad, but when you see them next to 20 yo teenagers, they look even worse. They stop every attack, all of our fluidity ends. Then the decision making and execution. Just shite.
-
Honestly we are playing best football in years. Realization and defending sucks, but we look lively, joyful and create plenty. Pressing is also fantastic. This could well be our next big generation, mark my words.
-
And everyone sort of knew they are shit but we lied to ourselves because we hoped they will turn into striker we need.
