His injury means big blow in our CL title chances...he was vital every year, pulling those saves. Schwarzer is good, but Cech is Cech.
-
I only mentioned him because he could fill the #10 spot should Oscar leave, not because he is #10. And still, he creates much more than Oscar, while both have lot of defensive responsibilities.

The squad is good enough to win small games, you cant blame lack of striker. The approach was wrong, from players and from Mou. We played too defensive against bottom teams, should gone all attack to make win easier and boost stats, improve attacking tactics. Either Mou lost his winning mentality vs small teams, or players cant follow him. Or everyone is too busy with world cup...

Is Chelsea The Most Hated Club In Europe?
BlueLyon replied to Spike's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Yes we are but I dont give one fuck what others say. We are most hated club, but we are still like 4th in number of supporters around the world.. Either you love or hate Chelsea, there is no way between. Other clubs have respect from neutral fans, we generaly dont. But I dont blame fans, I dislike FA and media who trashes us all the time. Everyone I talked today about yesterday match said Chelsea is destroying football. People turning into sheeps saying Chelsea plays boring football, while same type played by United or Real is heroic. However, Barca fans are dissapearing with each day. Everyone started to hate tiki-taka football, I never liked it anyway and Im happy people finaly realised how boring is. -
Its all about stereotypes...Chelsea/Mou public picture is bad, they think of us as football destroyers, people will alway speak about us like that. Real on other side, everyone loves their superstars and ''fancy football''. Even if we both play same football type, they will call our performance cowardly, while praising Real. I agree though, Bayern are possesion based, while Atletico is counter, high pressing team. We should try to attack more, not just sit deep. Still, we played away and got decent result. Bayern lost. That is all what matters.

Why did you use Shaw pic too soon, it has backfired now
-
Once official (IF), I expect loads of comments that Shaw has no ambition and is money grabbing cunt... It would be real shame not to get him, as he is apparently huge Chelsea fan, but 30m is WAAAAAYYY too much.

It could be last battle between Lamps and Gerrard should Lamps leave in summer. Cant say I like Gerrard, but these games have always been fantastic because of those two. Possibly, the reason why Gerrard and Lamps had such great careers is that they pushed each other as far as possible, wanting to achieve everything. Both are top professionals IMO.
-
Top quality prospect, but will he fit in english football and our tactical approach?
-
Should play Schurrle-Oscar-Salah vs Pool. It could be deadly but only if those three wont be selfish and actualy play as a team.
-
Thing is Oscar isnt 'different #10'. He isnt even #10 to begin with. He is either CM or all round AM, but he simply isnt creative playmaker. His passing, vision, delivery isnt on level of playmaker. If Oscar is #10, then Lamps was one too (obviously he isnt). Oscar is simply CM who plays in #10 spot. However that doesnt change the fact that he is good player. He has high ceiling and age on his side. I think its time to stop calling him #10, but a mould of AM/CM midfielder. He isnt to be compared with Isco, Gotze, Mata,...who are all typical playmakers. If anything Oscar will LEARN how to create, while Mata, Isco, Gotze have that natural gift. Should Jose give him chance to prove, I think he will come good, but if we decide to sell him, then there are many options who might work even better for us eventualy; Koke, Barkley, Lallana, etc. Maybe even put Willian in middle spot and buy proper RW.

People expect we will get a striker who will bang goals every game. Thats it; the expectations of striker are too big here, it makes Torres, Ba,...look even bigger flop than it is. There are few strikers available, Costa is best of those who are available (we wont spent 70m on Cavani or whoever else). If people would watch Costa more (not just one game vs Terry and Cahill), they would understand why is he that good. Moaning cunt? Isnt Suarez one moaning cunt? I would prefer that over Torres anyday. Get real, no striker in the world scores every game. We killed Messi, Cavani, Ibra, Suarez...Costa. Dont just judge him on one game, if we get him, we will be much better side.
-
Im quite sure United will spend 100m on new players in summer. They bought Mata for 40, they probably want to get back on top as soon as possible.
-
We shouldnt break the bank for him...there are plenty of full backs who have same potential, maybe even bigger. There is one reason, Shaw is english and I REALY want to se english player in our starting eleven in next years, Lamps, Terry, Cole are leaving and we will need few replacements. One of Shaw/Barkley/Lallana should definately be bought eventualy. Another reason why to bring Shaw is because of Mou way of playing football. Getting someone like Moreno might mean we got top prospect at LB, but I doubt he is proper full back for Mourinhos system. Shaw on other hand, is english and will probably learn tactical approach much faster than any spanish/brazil full back IMO (Azpi is one of few exceptions). But still, there are plenty of players who might turn even better, not english but cheaper. Rodriguez, Alex Sandro, Bernat, Moreno, De Sciglio, Filipe Luis, Coentrao,... It all depends on what Mou wants; I think Moreno would work brilliantly with Hazard, but I doubt he is suited for Mou. I doubt any young LB is suited for Mou. Im sure Jose wants defensive stability and will look for either Shaw (for logical reasons) or some experienced LB ala Coentrao/Filipe Luis.

I just wish he would make our attack more efficient. Show our players how to play as team, how to create and score by following certain patern. Lack of striker is big problem, but Oscar, Willian, Schurrle,...are here to play and yet they dont realy impress. There are many factors for bad attacking like lack of striker, no support from fullbacks (width), no support from DLP etc, but finishing and decision making of Oscar, Schurrle, Willian,...actualy whole team is realy average. We defend like a team, but we dont attack like one. Today, we couldnt make three straight passes in attack, because we lack plan, patern or sth... I hope Mou will make us counter attacking team based on Chelsea from 2009/10 or Borussia. But for that, you need realy complete team, great understanding, no selfish players, intelligent players who can play fast and efficient football with lots of one-two passes or long crosses. And most importantly, you need DEADLY ATTACKERS WHO SCORE EVERY CHANCE GIVEN. Anelka, Drogba, Malouda, Lamps, even Essien, Ballack, Cole could score stunners. I remember Smeltzer scoring that goal vs Real last season. Goal from full back. You dont see that in Chelsea. Azpi scoring such goal? Even attackers like Willian or Oscar cant finish. They have great workrate, thats why we re good in defense, but lack efficiency in attack. Next year we will improve; but for counterfootball, you need 3/4 attackers who can naturaly score goals when chance given. Oscar or Willian arent that. Hazard is still learning. Midifeld has no players who can score goals, we need CM who can take shots aswell.
-
When he doesnt play, we win he deserves to play final though...
-
Potentialy no Etoo, Hazard, Cech, Terry, Mikel, Lamps... Bloody hell, the rematch wont be easy without those players. Hope Hazard gets well and puts rises to ocassion, scoring winning goal or making key moment of game or sth. If he can play, its his time to step up.
-
Etoo, Terry, Hazard and Cech all missing? Anyone else? Thats almost half of our team, nearly all best individuals. Doubt we can win without them, it wont realy matter anyway, but still...
-
Well...he was completly cut off the team. Our strikers have ZERO support from midfielders or fullbacks. No wonder they have so little effect... Willian was only one who at least tried, but Lamps and Ramires were useless in attack. I guess thats because Mou didnt want us to attack at all, but to keep clean sheet. To compare, Atleti players were all the time looking for their striker, they were crossing to Costa all the time, they were productive/creative in their attacking; considering how good our defense was. We dont know what to do with ball, we rely on individual brilliance, there is no connection, no versatility in our attack. No service and no support. Costa, should he come, will do little change. In first place; Willian, Oscar and partly Hazard have to improve finishing and decision making. Must start attack as a team.
-
How about Mattia de Sciglio for Left back? I have followed him last year and he was quite promising, not so much this year. But sure, he will probably become very good full back. Anyone here who watches Milan this year regulary?
-
They say you need to score away goal to progress nowdays...I hope they are wrong We were solid in defence, but we were shit in attack....I guess we didnt want to score goal anyway. We have many injured and suspended players. Not good at all. We have to win at SB, if we draw, we are out. Not the best result, but not a bad one either.

Torres returns to his hometown, Vicente Calderon chants his name, spark of the world class striker reignites and then........you wake up, realizing it was just a dream.

Or better, Liverpool needs 14 shots to take three goals, Chelsea needs 93 shotd
