He has physical abilities, now Terry and Mou need to teach him a few things. If he follows their instructions, he might be some player in future. It all comes down to how long will he need to make a step higher and how long is Mou prepared to give him chance. His passing, holding on ball is bit off at times, but I think he can improve that. CBs nowdays need to be versatile and skilled when having the ball.

Cuadrado is good player but not worth 45m. For that money you get Reus, Cavani if they were available etc. Personaly I would like us to have more inteligent RW like Di Maria, but I think we will be fine if we get PROPER BACKUP STRIKER.

When you see barca spending 40m on 30 y.o. Mathieu and injury prone Vermaelen or Psg 50 on Luiz, 20m for Filipe doesnt look too much. --- I liked Luis performances so far, good on the ball and defending, but definately needs to improve in attack and gain some more fitness. He would be one to close games, he isnt any different than Tiago that everyone wanted here. Free transfer and can offer plenty of experience. He is past his best, but so is Drogba. However his experience would be usefull and wouldnt complain being on bench.

When you think at first its weird, but since we failed to get Tiago, I think Cambiasso would be fine addition to our midfield. Experienced player, free agent, old friend of Mourinho and certainly still capable of one good season. If we ofload Mikel, I think Cambiasso could actualy be very usefull to Mou he could also motivate team and be one of Mou's right hands in team. Its almost impossible but IF those rumours about Tiago were right, then Mou is still looking for another CM, looks even more likely now that Romeu is gone. Cambiasso was actualy one of better last season at Inter, he still has good passing and was always tackle master. What do you think?

Yet one problem they should work on; the striker: they keep benzema and buying no one else. Its just weird. If they kept whole team same but replaced Benzema with Suarez, they would have perfect team. Perez is nut and Anceloti not much better for allowing all these transfers.

Thank god for homegrown rule and fact that england has no proper young players available atm. Chelsea lacks bit of identity with english players after Cole and Lamps left and this will force club to bring more english players in first team. At least guys like Baker, RLC etc will feature more in team because board WILL HAVE to bring them in.
