I like Mata but tbh we should tell him to get lost in spain or rot on our bench (or fight for spot). But we listened to his wish and sold him to one of biggest league rivals. Gaal who will bring another CB and CM will make team strong and Mata could help them win titles in two seasons or so. If United gets ahead of us because of Mata we will look like fools. And that is possible. I agree we aint selling club, but recently we sold few good players to big rivals, something we never did in past.

What he thinks he is going to achieve with Costa, Drogba and Torres I dont know... Our bench CMs looks suspicious too.

Still we shouldnt sell Mata to United, Sturridge to pool or Lukaku to Everton.

We should sold him to Juve and get Pogba/Vidal in return. Not Everton, another PL team. We USED to not be selling club but now Mata, Sturridge and Lukaku play for very good PL teams...

I dont care about result but we played with no direction or creativity. Give some spark and life to our attack and it will be much better. Dont forget this is season where we are supposed to win at least one major title.

I dont mind result, everyone loses in preseason etc... What I mind is that our play looks very bad, much like last season. No linkup, proper runs, creativity etc. And defence goes missing at times too.

Just my few cents. This isnt reaction from this game, but general concern about our next season, I have been thinking about this for some time now. 1.) Im still not convinced that Matic, Cesc and Oscar will do the job in midfield. That looks too exposed and lacks mobility and speed. Rambo on other hand lacks many other things, so it wouldnt fix problem either...Vidal is not coming either, so I hope this will work anyway. 2.) If Luis gets injured, Azpi will go on right and Iva on left, and then we dont have single fullback remaining. 3.) And that right side looks very raw, Mourinho football is all about taking advantage on counter, being capable of that decisive decision and I have seen Willian waste or stall our counter attack too many times. Salah just aint any better. And Schurrle best is LW, cant shift him to RW and demand something special from him. We simply lack brain and quality on right side. 4.) If Costa gets injured, we have to rely on Torres. Brilliant. 5.) In theory this is preseason, with no Hazard, brazil players, Schurrle but our attack looks very much same like last season, however we do have more quality players in Cesc, Costa and Luis. I only hope Mou (who did that before) can make our attack as best as possible and improves us over last year. But I have feeling we will have some trouble with small teams that park bus again. 6.) Our bench looks so inexperienced or past it, except Schurrle there is not single player who can replace our starters in attack or midfield in case of injury or bad form.

I like Costa being not selfish, but he should take more shots on goal..

Our defence looks shaky and we still cant beat well organised defence...its preseason but still...

What I dislike about Cesc is that after 10 brilliant passes, he makes one completely stupid, loses concentration and makes simple pass that gets intercepted by oposition in dangerous position...however he then makes 10 more great passes.

Papadopoulos from Schalke to Bayer. He was realy talented but spend last 2 seasons injured...maybe Bayer will be good new start for him. Ansaldi (argentine LB) from Zenit to Atletico. Now they have Ansaldi, Siqueira and Insua on left side. IMO they should just get one better quality LB instead of both Siqueira and Ansaldi

He could go to australia like David Villa...I still like him like before, but he could and should say no to City... It will give bad taste to Lamps...Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc all stayed in their clubs until retirement (Gerrard will do that too). Its weird him being huge Chels and not wanting to extend contract because of money or playtime. He is 36 and should retire here like proper legend. Instead he joined city...kinda leaves bad mark.

You said you wouldnt take him back. Im sure you would if he turned Drogba esque. IF. Mou will probably not buy him back, true that, but in 5 years time Mou, he might be, he might be not in Chelsea. Also Lukaku could aswell just want a fair chance, no prefrences between him and Costa, who is better is better and plays. Even if Lukaku would score few goals, you think Mou would play him ahead of his own 35m buy Costa? No. Mou will offcourse say something like Lukaku wanted to be starter to justify sale and calm fans etc. Dont understand how can people still believe in all he says. Lukaku might be bit ''coward'' but he is smart enough to see that this season with Mou, Costa and Chelsea history isnt going to change much and he will only be bit part at best. He is now in Everton guaranteed starter and will improve week in week out. He is 19 y.o. and how many 19y.o. players suceeded here in last 10 years? And how many potentials have been ruined? Exactly. He is better of to Everton and we now need to spend that money on new backup. Period. A quality second striker or not could decide our PL title this season.

SAF told Pogba to wait for chance, but he was cocky and wanted more and decided to leave. Yeah, Im refering to season before the last. Since we bought Lukaku in 2011, Chelsea was quite a wreck, ready for new start (apart from CL win) and Lukaku could get a fair chance, not 4 games but actual longer run of games (same with Sturridge), but we couldnt take ''risk''. We didnt have enough believe in young players simply. He was realy young back then, but Torres was shit too and we ended in fifth place in 2012, even if we didnt play Lukaku. Would be difference if we played Lukaku? Maybe we would finish 5/6 too, but at least he would have season full of games and future might be different. Many ifs and coulds, but simply there is such small trust given in youth.

I dont give single fuck about Real and their youth players. Perez is one of most deluded people in world football. Business man, not football club president. Bayern in 2007 was without CL,one of their lowest lows in recent history, much like we in 2010 but their board gave chance to german youth players who eventualy brought team to were it is now. Its about a system and with Roman + Chelsea will never give youth product. He can tell whatever he wants, give chance to whoever manager, but at the end he will change opinion after one year. Roman gave this club alot, but youth is something that wont profit out of that I think. We have RLC and Baker in team, yet we went to buy Romeu one year, we get tired, we buy Ginkel, Pasalic, next year it will be someone else. No wonder Baker (just setting example) wont succeed if such system will be going on here. And if club is putting sheer profit of these buys to generate more money ahead of youth system...well thats sad. In 2017, I prefer developed Baker in first 11 than 80m of profit. I almost forgot how it feels to have english, youth system player growing in his game season after season. It was great watching Terry and Lamps (who isnt our youth but still) grow and develop in our team to one of best in their position.

And we played Torres ahead of Lukaku. Im sure we could force Lukaku to stay here, maybe even loan again, but we would then get no money because he wouldnt extend contract. And Lukaku is still more proven player ATM then Pogba was at ManU.
