West ham lost 4 games in Premier league this season. In 3 of those 4 games, Song didnt play. I think he is quite the main reason why West ham is so high this season.

I think this team still lacks that special thing that wins you titles. You know, when you somehow still win in the end no matter the shit performance, scoring out of nowhere, fighting till the end. We have chance to prove it and do the job by winning. If not, mentality will be blown and we will see what happens... We certainly have team good enough to win title. We have coach to win the title. If we dont win title, it will be our fault, and I think our side is simply very young and isnt mentaly on top yet.

Its not that he would sit on bench. We could rotate big time with current formation, but with him we could play Matic-Pogba and Cesc as #10, Oscar on RW etc... Not required, but I think in some time, he would get ahead of Oscar and that midfield of Matic, Pogba and cesc would be probably best in world. Physical, technical, tactical, mobile. First RW and CB, then maybe Pogba if we will have the money and need. Only downside would be that Rlc and Baker will only get in team by some giant miracle then.

I think Mou has to allow bit more freedom to our attackers, work on attacking tactics and bring proper RW (or Willian/Schurrle improves soon). Surely Mou is capable of teaching our team to have planned attacks. He is great at setting up counter attacks, but when we play against organised defense, we are bit too slow and players seem to not realy know what to do (for example we never use width, and we rely on individual skill too much). This is where Mou could still make plenty of improvements on our team, but I feel he wants realy solid defense and that decreases our attacking potential. Secondly, our attackers are mostly young and not long together, there will surely be further improvements from them and they will be more consistent, regardless of Mou tactics.

Apart from some games, our whole attack was positioned bad. Something I think Mou should work on, but just cant. We dont use width, we dont use through balls enough (we have players to do it, but we dont). Our FBs dont get involved in attack enough (except Iva who then goes missing in defense). Its not just Costa that is at fault in our combination football. Its whole attack, but we can improve and we showed it, but just not enough consistent. We are not fast enough and when you compare us to bvb 2012/2013 (i believe this is what Mou wants to achieve), we lack movement, vision and passing skill big time. Too many individual actions or we play so slow that our players get surrounded and defenses positioned. And then Willian/Costa or sbd loses the ball because he tries on his own and there is no movement around him/or they simply lack visio and skill to pass that ball. And how many fucking times did player A run near player B with ball, while A should run in open space, away from B and then recieve the ball.

Psg will be out there to take revenge and they did look fine against barca at home. Lot will depend on Luiz if he will have one of his better or worse performances. But its all on us, if we have the winning mentality, we should beat them. It would be also kinda funny if Luiz fucks up massively, considering they bought him for 50m from us.

Nah he was key player for us in first two months with his goals. I remember he was the one who scored leading goal or equalizer in those matches. Now he is probably going through some difficulties that always happen with new players and once he plays full season and completely settles in, I think he will be more decisive for us in upcoming years. His play has also changed bit, he tries everything on his own, while in first games he played more with team and they looked for him more too. He didnt score recently and tried too hard, but once things get down, he will be key again with Hazard and co. Maybe not like Drogs was, but honestly how many strikers are like him? He was like the perfect striker, scored when needed in many finals and key games etc. Costa has incredible desire to score and if he picks the right path, we should be good.

I dont realy mind derby game, Mou can pick strongest lineup, as long we will do job against stoke away. I will be furious if we drop points if key players will be tired because of this game vs derby in carling cup that no one realy gives shit anymore. League and FA cup should be priority.

He is weak link in big games., not in small ones. If he makes assist, but allows our midfield to get overrun because he cant handle the pressure of opponent like he does in small games, he is weak link. There is a reason why he will most probably be given different role in big games. He is just incapable to handle his CM duty against big sides who put lot of pressure on him. It not all in statistics. Modric comes with almost none assists, but he does his job in midfield against whoever and that is where Madrid benefits. Cesc is decent at tracking, passing, etc but isnt near enough influental through 90mins in big games like he is in small ones. United overrun our midfield completely with fecking Fellaini. City was playing with man down, but we still couldnt establish control over them. Partly Mou tactics, but in those defensive tactics, Cesc isnt that instrumental either because he isnt running engine or excelent tackler (yes he has covered more ground than any other player in PL, but that is as misleading as stats can go) Also I mentioned PSG, Barca etc because even though these are not biggest big sides in today football, he could, probably will struggle in those. All that said, I like him anyway, and Mou knows he has role here but in big games he will probably be given #10 role with two more defensive players behind him, which means adjusting team when facing bigger teams. Does Madrid or Bayern adjust their teams in big games to accomodate their CM Modric or Schweinsteiger because they couldnt perform in same way as they do in small games? No. I believe we will only truly dominate world football if we will be able to play same tactics and same team in any game, no matter the opponent.
