Firstly. Are any of these players available that we can buy? No they are not. There is no striker out there better than Costa and is available. Secondly. He is a striker. He scores goals. Why the fuck you imagine him being Messi when he is not, I will never know. He doesnt have play in him blah blah blah. He is a fuckin striker and he scores the fucking goals. As long he does that, he does his job perfect. Thirdly. His mentality. Sure he is hothead. But has more passion than the rest of squad together. If Oscar and Willian wouldnt wank around on every second touch, it would help alot. Those two are actualy midfielders and are supposed to have some play in them. Oh maybe people want another Torres, the nice handsome dude who has good ball control. But wait, back then people only wanted him to have striker who scores goals. Make up your mind people. Costa is not perfect, but seriously all talks about Suarez etc. Go fucking see his games when he misses 5 sitters and then still scores 3 goals because he plays in fucking barca with their CBs having better offense than out AMs. Seriously get the damn point. We aint top team at the moment, but Costa is the best striker we can have atm. We have to fix GK, defense and midfield before attack.

Costa fucked up the game? Haha some of you are unbelievable...

Matchday matchday matchday

When we finally find a gem for peanuts, we go on and sell him, now he plays for our main rivals. Thanks Mou. Realy. Fucking hell.
-
Even if he grew a giant beard and got buzz cut ala Tim Howard, he would still look like a baby.
-
I find his videos of new haircut every week cringy as fuck.

Just a bunch of big names or potential players who are inconsistent. De Gea and Ibra are only two real top players and Ibra is 34. Then Pogba, but he should never be this expensive because there is a dozen of mids better than him. Miki, Rashford, Martial, Shaw, Pogba, Baily and Smalling will require some time to get together and become more consistent to form what you call a team. And I certainly dont rate them as bad, but overrated by the fans and media. They are improving, but not top like Real, Barca, Atletico, Bayern, City. Fact that they were out of CL for a while now is also problem. Its like when Pedro came to us and everyone thought we got wonderful player, but it turned into a flop. These players have lot to prove before being considered as top team. Unfortunelly the prem is so poor that a decent team can look amazing. Then we see them fall in CL like flies.
-
No one is saying he is not good or even great. But best? Not even close. His bayern CL record is good indication of that and I think managing City wont change either. Not to mention, he has to replace half of squad to even operate. Mou is not what he was anymore, but when he was on top (since 2004-2010), he was amazing. Tacticaly almost perfect. I would like to see Pep in that 2004-2009 era in PL. Today when he splashes 200m and the league is, pardon my language, shit (from viewers perspective its still great, but in terms of quality not so much), it is not that difficult. United, Arsenal maybe, Liverpool, Chelsea were actualy real beasts back then unlike today.
-
Im saying Pep has better team than Mou. City had better one last season. Mou has players like Fellaini, Herrera, Valencia, Blind in squad ffs. We will see how good Pep actualy is once he plays big boys in CL like Real or Barca who have squads on par with City. Im certain that in those games his tactical play will get outdone like it happend with Bayern and Barca in the end. We will also see how his team does after winter, Pep is pushing his players to limit and it will punch him in the face sooner or later. Obviously Mou is not as good coach right now as Pep, but City is much better than United. I dont know why people rate United so high. Yes they got Pogba and Ibra, but the rest of squad is still more or less shit. Wait till Pep actualy plays against teams similar to his...or better, when he has to play the likes of Fellaini and Blind. Its not all that difficult if you can buy any player in the world to add on already great team.
-
He did great job, but United as big club as it is, has alot of deadwood in first 11 still. I will wait until city plays big boys in CL, then we will see.
-
I find it curious when people put Christensen in all lineups when he didnt play a single game for us yet after he left for BM. And the three CBs...IMO we wont see that as regular tactic, unless there will be specific need for that regarding the result or opponent. And thats good. First of all, we dont have Chielini, Bonucci and Barzagli as 3CBs and secondly, because 3:5:2 is overrated. As for the game, I look forward to see Alonso and Luiz. Costa and Bats wont start both, althrough it would be interesting to see that. Hopefully we win. Next few weeks will show how good we really are.
-
Funny how he remains quiet and respectful now that he is at united. As if they got him on leash now.
-
Isnt Zouma still out? Until october?
-
Kante definately has potential.

He is not a leader. Simple as that. When we were playing PSG, all was there to see. Completely invisible. Even Ivanovic shown more desire, passion, drive, leadership than Cesc. And to me, it all starts with that. I dont care how he looks and acts in interviews, I really dont. All that matters is on the pitch. And I dont see him as someone who the whole team would follow. Starting with his play style, how quickly he loses the ball which makes him undependable. And then his mentality. In big games, I have not seen him boss the game. And that is what captains do. Rooney is not captain material either, but he is ''legend''. I dont want Cesc to be one for same reasons, because when the shit gets real, he is one of those that you simply cant depend to lead the line, motivate others. I guess afrer all these years of JT, my expectations are too high, he was best possible captain there is, but I would not give Cesc captain band. Just my thoughts. This will be bold, but if I got guarantee that Ivanovic will remain starter for next few years (not that I want that, but if that happened), I would give band to him sooner than to Cesc. Why? Obviously not because of his skill, because he is one of the liabilities out there. But he has confidence, he has drive and passion. In all these years he was with us he was almost never injured and gave absolutely 110% in games. You cant take away his mistakes, but for someone like him, he is still a damn great character to have when you play decisive games. Cesc on other hand has all the technical skill in the world, yet all that goes away when he gets pressed. How can you trust such man, if he doesnt have belief in himself. Bottom line, Cesc is professional. Clear as day, since he went from Arsenal to Chelsea. To be true captain and leader, it takes something more. He was their captain and yet made the move. IMO that is not the right character, professional or not, you just cant depend on such person. The real sad thing however, is that we dont have an out and out player in our team to tick all marks. Not a single one.
-
Translation: he will be good rotation option and good backup to AZPI.
-
City perhaps, but United? They have Ibra, Pogba and De Gea. Maybe Martial, but we have Bats. Thats about it. They also play Blind on CB, Fellaini on CM and Valencia at RB. They play Mata ahead of Miki. Where they have Ibra and Pogba, we have Eden and Costa. The only difference is Jose who made Fellaini and Blind better players. Then there is Rooney... City has great depth I agree, but United? Seriously? To be honest their only game changer is Ibra, who is 35.
-
I wont be surprised to see Ivanovic, once he retires, rejoin Chelsea board and become "negotiator" for new transfers, add some motivation to potential targets. You know, the dirty work. The players will have to think twice before turning us down.
-
I realy dont buy into this "get best players and you will win league". Certainly not in first year at least. Good example was Atletico who won la liga. Obviously these are all one off examples, but then again real is buying top players every year and fail to win la liga. Its all about chemistry and adjustment to league. And we dont exactly lack quality either. If Hazard and Costa keep the form. Our new boys Kante and Bats play same as so far, I would put us right next to manchesters in terms of chances. Our only problem is defence and hopefuly Luiz and Alonso will fix that.
-
IMO team work will be important too. Leicester won last year, despite City having miles better players. If we get together on good run, anything is possible, even title. Majority of this squad won the title two years ago. If last year was a one-off, we should be right back on top again. Add Kante, Bats, Luiz plus a good manager to that. On other sids we can finish 8th or sth if things go south.
-
That dude Vitolo is not bad either.
-
If we talk about impossible, I would rather Verratti than Thiago. Thiago is injured too much.
-
Christensen never convinced me before joining Borussia and even now Im staying calm. He had realy good season, but lets not get over the edge. Baba had fantastic season in augsburg too. Its all apples and oranges, but lets wait how he does in PL first before saying "we got a defender for next 10 years".
