As you can see Kante is quite useless along playmaker. Because then he has to be holding mid instead of roam around. Its crucial to get top upgrade of matic in summer and not a playmaker. Ok game, bit exposed in defense, but we play against top attack.
-
Weird lineup from city, but i kinda expect them to go 3:4:3 or sth. Lets hope we take advantage and win. Superhyped about the match, Comeon chelsea!!!
-
You just know this guy is injured whole season but will absolutely boss it against us play game of his life and then injure himself again next weekend.
-
Sorry to hear that mate. I love travelling myself, its great to free your spirit and experience life and yourself. Hope you two have time of your life

Some rumours Conte wants Pirlo to succeed Holland as assistant coach. I would love this, Pirlo is such a great character, respected and very intelligent. Oozes class. Would be unreal if we could form a future board of Conte, Pirlo and our legends like Lamps, Terry, Cole,...
-
One thing I absolutely dont get is he can make a pinpoint pass through half of field during the play, but his corners and freekick deliveries are absolutely average. How is that possible for someone with such good pass? Pirlo, Kroos, Iniesta can all do it. What is with Cesc that he cant? If he had this threat from corners and freekicks he would be alot more usefull. He has good technique but poor at holding the ball and dribbling, good in passing but poor at setpieces....so so limited player. The rest of our squad is shit in corners and freekick deliveries too, so Im happy whenever Cesc plays because just maybe he can give a good ball, but generaly we are so poor in this.
-
Sane is in hot shit form right now. When we faced them back then its was just Aguero as real threat, but now there is Sane too. I wouldnt worry so much if we had Moses, but now its a bit different. Big decision for Conte. This is the situation when playing the likes of Zouma in every smaller game would definately help because it would mean we have capable backups. Now its a big mistery how will Zouma do if he gets picked.

IMO Marcos is doing great job and has plenty of potential to imporve. He can become our new Ivanovic or Capdevilla. Doesnt have to be big name or fancy player to be very important to the squad. He is good on the ball, gets quite many headers, physicaly not weak and is improving his defensive understanding of the game too. Moses while being very good too, will have to be replaced tho. IMO this is near his peak and his end product is not enough combined with Alonso to push for europe. He adds great physical presence (IMO our strongest player apart from Cahill and Luiz) and he has top engine too, but lacks some of technical knowledge. We obviously need two wingbacks on either side so there will be plenty of rotation I expect.
-
Not sure, but I think he started to work with german tv and ESPN coverage of euros and WC.
-
It all comes down if he wants to stay in london or not. Im sure he is not some big fan of Chelsea to push the move, but the only reason he might join us is because he wants to stay in London and at same time win something. If he doesnt mind going to Paris or Munchen, he is not coming here for sure.
-
Lets hope so. I miss the guy, he has been invisible for too long now.
-
We should press and attack them because their defence is rubbish and our attack is good. But instead we will let city all the time and space in the world to attack, while their weakness (defence) wont be exploited. Their defence is absolutely clueless under pressure, but Im sure we wont take advantage of that. We will need some deadly counterattacks if we want to win this. And perfect defense.
-
I would not be so sure. I mean yes we still have good advantage, but the following games are difficult. Spurs players go bonkers when they start losing indeed, but they are on good run right now. I would not underestimate them. And their europa games...you cant compare their form from europe with PL. Then one can say Gent is better than Chelsea too, but it doesnt work like that. They will give twice the effort in PL they did in europe. It would take massive flop from us if we dont win the title considering everything, and I dont expect Spurs to go on some unbeatable run either, but if we lose to City which is not impossible, that could mean we lost 6 points advantage out of 10 in 5 days. That alone is not the worst, what will go in players heads could bring more poor games after that, because they will get super nervous. We play Everton and United and those are not the kind of games to boost the confidence back up. Conte has been great so far, but if the system falls, he wont be able to save it. And our key player from first half is now very poor for months. Every game now on, we need to play like final. Or there will be massive problems winning the title.

I did mention he deserves a pass because of that...
-
Ok, yes he was actualy quite good, but not being the decisive guy good if you know what I mean. Sure its extremely hard to win games on your own, but sometimes he is simply unplayable in PL, while despite being ok in CL, he didnt realy reach that same height so far. I remember against PSG he did ok, but compared to some of his best games for Chelsea, he wasnt even close, meanwhile if you look Messi, Iniesta, Ronaldo, Neymar,... their best performances came from some of the most important games (that said Ronaldo was oftenly shit in big games IMO). Its harsh yes, Im one of biggest Eden fans, but IMO for him to be truly one of best, he will need to put his very best performances against the very best teams in europe in games that are crucial. Its true our team as whole was not even close comparable to top teams indeed, so Eden deserves a pass, but with Conte, I expect he will build a proper team and Eden must become our true leader. Someone who if fit, you can count in 9/10 games, not just ''hope he will be on fire tonight'' kinda guy He set the bar so high and with all his talent, he must become that guy you can depend everytime. Im sure once he hits 27/28, his experience will make him even better. His talent is undisputed, but sometimes some players have more big game mentality and some have less. For example Ivanovic was while good defender, nothing special in wide term of best players in world, but a truly big game man. If Eden becomes that big game player, for all I care he can score 5 goals per season, he will be one of worlds best next to Messi and Ronaldo. IMO Edens mentality is not quite there yet, but he still has few years to truly peak, so he has time.
-
No. Ronaldinho, Kaka, Zidane didnt score as much as those two. If person truly believe that best player in the world is the one who scores shitload of goals, he is nothing but a washed media sheep. The reason Hazard is not yet on level of Ronaldo and Messi is because he didnt show enough on big stage. Premier League, he is widely regarded as one if not the best player of past few years, but in CL honestly he did very very little. There were games against PSG he played completely average and that is one thing he needs to improve. To be consistent and decisive on big stage, not to score shitload of goals. He is not and never will be a 30+ goalscorer, because that is not in his nature. Look at Suarez. Or Cavani if you want. He is brilliant striker, scores alot, but I would not put him next to Ronaldo and Messi. Because he is just not that great footballer. Goals are one thing, but its not what separates top from best. Iniesta is one of very best (in his prime I would put him ahead of Ronaldo tbh) and he scores what 1 goal per season. That is if you truly watch football for the sake of its beauty, not because media blows the popularity contest of Ronaldo, Messi and how their statistics make them the best ever yada yada, with absolutely zero attention on defensive midfielders, defenders and generaly all those who dont score much. Football is a team sport and the one who plays for the team will have unremarkable stats, but absolutely crucial for every trophy the team wins.

Spurs are not spurs anymore. They have been consistent whole season and they have good coach. If we keep losing points, they will catch us soon. We should not underestimate them. Currently our only main rival are Spurs which was seen in both PL games. Our fixtures are super difficult and even if spurs lose one of next games, we will have to be at our very very best agaisnt city, united, everton and soton, because every draw now on will feel like a loss.
-
Very very unexpected loss, but it had to happen once,,we played quite well actualy, but unfortunely it didnt go in. It also shows that we indeed look vulnerable without 3:4:3 and while I think Cesc was very good today, maybe we wouldnt concede those two goals without him. Its all maybes tho. We must put much better performance against City if we want to win. Its going to be quite a breaker that game. If we win, it will boost our confidence superhigh, but if we lose...6 points lost this quick and honestly I wouldnt be so sure about the title anymore. We play Soton, Everton and United, all very difficult games.
-
If we got Neymar, possibly we wouldnt have Eden since both play same position. Im happy how it turned out.
-
I will always prefer defending than passing when measuring Cbs, and Dijk is alot better right now. Christensen passing is great no doubt, but he leaves much to be desired in his defending against top sides. No doubt he might aswell struggle against PL strikers too.
-
Pointess. We are just terrible in transition from youth to senior squad. It just may be that players are overrated and that is also reason for failing, maybe they have talent, but playing for chelsea with all that money breaks them... But our youth squads have been very successfull past three years. Perhaps most successfull of any youth team in europe. And where are all these players? RLC, Boga, Aina, Chalobah, Baker, Palmer, Musonda, Solanke,...list goes on and on. When I saw them playing for our youth, it was clear they are exceptional talents, at least for english standards. At age 19, if they are promising, they should get chance. Not loans, not if 5 others get injured. Spurs threw Alli straight in fire and he did very well. Because he had faith from coach and gained lot of experience. He is not some superb talent, but a perfect product for PL, same is with our players. Most got lost in clouds...as much I would love at least Baker, RLC or Palmer make it here, it just wont happen. Not here. We are more of factory rather home for these kids. Its just sad because we realy have brilliant generation, and if we promoted two or three same year and played them decently enough, they could break through. We play those cup games. If there is ANY intention from our board to make our youth succeed, Aina, RLC and Chalobah should play every game there. How many minutes did they play? Just picking safe options over and over. And we didnt win league cup either. Its absolute bullshit. Its nice to win FA cup or league cup. But I would trade those 6 FA cups we have for 5 homegrown players in current squad any day.
-
He is brilliant player tho. Real fantasista. Always tries little flicks and tricks whenever he gets the chance. If it wasnt for injuries he would have been one of top players in the world. I saw game against marseille after he returned from injury and he still got it. Would I take him here? Probably not, he doesnt realy fit this team and he had way too many injuries in past. But its always pleasure watching him, even if its just french league.
-
I have edited my post to explain it better, you obviously have agenda against Bakayoko, hoping we will buy someone ''fancier'' and suddenly start playing beautiful football. Sorry, it wont happen. If you think any more creative mid would do better tonight against spanish side along with same approach spain and france picked today, you have very little football knowledge.
-
He is actualy having more than decent game...few good passes and two realy good dribbles through entire right side. First half, their midfield was Rabiot-Kante-Tolisso (by account of many we need more ''creative'' players to control the game, like Tolisso), and they got completely outplayed against spanish midfield. Couldnt even make two passes. Second half with Baka instead of Rabiot, they started playing better. Kante is average tonight too, but was better once Baka came in, because he can roam around more. First half he was sitting back and was completely lost.
-
With him we gonna win PL, CL, superbowl and tour de france.
