At Brighton, he's pissed off the manager and he's behind Steele and Verbruggen in the order. At Chelsea, there is more than a fair chance of dislodging Kepa.
No doubt the window has been great
The club has been ruthless in most decisions - spending 40m on an emergency cover CB. But what about GK? Club is still studying the market for GKs. Didn't bid for Onana/Raya and seem to be content with going into the season with Kepa
Someone already mentioned on this thread - we can't have Strasbourg signing and then sell to us later for cheap. UEFA would flag such deals. They've already looked into the Saint Maximin deal to Saudi to see if figures were conflated.
Since the club is clearly looking for GK2 and someone who is cheap. And since it seems to be a disagreement with the manager that has seen him drop down the order in Brighton.
Yup, don't understand the delay in signing a GK? The market is becoming thin now.
Any decent keeper will consider coming here even as GK 2 since they'd back themselves to dislodge Kepa
From the 30 that are in the USA keep out the young keepers (Slonina Bergstrom Beach Cumming), Moreira, Angelo, Carney, Hall, Humphreys, Gilchrist, Burstow
and add Caicedo, Kudus, Robert Sanchez and Guehi (?) We are set. Compact 24-man squad
Despite all the noises around the club wanting to sell him, he seems content to stick around. I think there's no issue keeping him around as backup. We have no senior central mids at the club
