Chelsea Football Club will play AS Roma on August 10 in Washington DC to end their pre-season tour of the United States. The friendly will be played at the RFK Stadium few days after the inaugural Guinness International Champions Cup, where Chelsea start off by facing another Italian side - Inter Milan. The game kicks off at 8 pm local time and will be screened live on ChelseaTV. This game against Roma comes just 8 days before Chelsea's season-opener at home to Hull City, ending a long pre-season with a total of 7 games spanning 2 continents on opposite ends of the world. Chelsea last played Roma in the 2008-09 Champions League Group Stages where the Blues won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge before succumbing to a 3-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in Rome.
