Honestly its quite foolish to assume that Andre is better than Moses without even seeing the former play in a Chelsea shirt. As for the Moses exit rumors,I feel that he should stay and see how things work out for him for at least another season. He had an above average debut season with us and I am sure he'll be able to continue that kind of form if given ample chances. However, this season there will be more serious competition for the winger roles. He got his chances last season because he was competing with Benayoun,Marin and the tired Oscar. Now with the arrivals of andre and Kdb,the competition definitely is more intense. Its all for him to decide if he'll be able to accept a minimum role this season or not.If he leaves then I can understand its his decision but to say that he isn't "Chelsea material" really isn't the proper sending off.

To be honest,I don't really care if that laugh remark was really meant as an insult or not because the fact of the matter is that he has insulted us before. The guy bit one of our players and I for one just can't overlook that incident just because he is a great striker.
-
Its an excellent signing because Mark is a great keeper and since he played for Fulham,he's familiar with London and won't need to adjust. Its also a relief to know that we didn't sign Ruddy because that deal wouldn't have been great for both parties.Ruddy deserves to be a number 1 keeper and 10m wasn't the price to pay for the role we were offering him.
-
The guy bit one of OUR players. How can you just let that slide and hope to accept him with open arms just because he's so awesome on the field. Are we so desperate for a new striker?
-
Torres's wages makes it really impossible for us to sign any proven world class striker.
-
The 3 options we had earlier(Falcao,Cavani and Lewandowski) are not possible anymore. The options now available aren't worth their quoted transfer amount,it would be foolish of us to pay 20m+ just because we wish to have another striker.Perhaps it would be best to keep Ba and try again in the winter transfer window.
-
There is absolutely no need of spending 30m on a striker now as no one available is worth that anymore.Maybe it would be wiser to bring in someone like Zlatan or Klose, players of vast experience who'll be willing to stay for maximum season or two.Such a move wouldn't affect Lukaku's development either and would create a healthy competition amongst the three. I have nothing against Ba and if the club feel that he should be sold then his replacement shouldn't be a Plan C striker like Soldado,Benteke etc.
-
He wants to leave England because he's tired of the crowd mocking him for his his stupid acts on the pitch.Leaving Liverpool for a rival English club will just make his life worse so there is no chance of him joining another premier league club.
-
The thing is that with Torres staying we'll either have to keep Ba as a possible 3rd striker or sell him and go for some proven striker as Jose can't risk his chances with the Spaniard. It would be very simple if we sold Torres but since that is not a serious option we must adjust.Lukaku will not be given the title of a second striker as there will be 3 top players for that sole position.Depending on whom we bring this summer and by all the striker's performances, the role will be decided.Lukaku could well be our main striker also if he does well or also in worst case be 3rd.

I feel that Zlatan would be the best striker for us because of his age and connections with Mourinho. He's 31 and will probably be here for a season or two max, which will allow perfect scene for Lukaku's development. Zlatan is a great striker and would thrive with the service from our midfield.Once the club gets rid off Torres,we'll be able to focus on buying prime strikers.Uniti then we'll have to make do with such short term solutions. Another alternative could be Klose, who could also be a consistent goal scorer.Experienced strikers should be considered instead of Plan C strikers like Soldado.

This guy deserves the chance to be a second striker and should not be forced out.
-
I'd rather have Rooney.
-
Unlikely that Rooney will take a pay cut to join us. 250k a week is just too much, even Ronaldo doesn't earn that much at Madrid.
-
I know 53m is a lot for a player but I am hoping that if we do get this deal done then Napoli use 15m to 20m of that 53m to buy Torres.
-
Jose Mourinho is the signing of the season. Our league rivals must spend to be on par with us now otherwise it'll just be too easy for Chelsea.

His wages are the only reason why I don't want him here. Its highly unlikely that he's going to accept 150k a week deal and I don't want us to pay him the 250k he earns at Manchester United. So its probably best that we forget about him and look at other strikers.
-
and here I thought you were talking about a tv show.
-
Not really for this move but hopefully he'll prove me wrong.
-
I like Monaco's strategy of bringing in Ex-Porto players.Their new signings will find it easier to adjust as the majority have played with each other before. If they sign up Hulk,I am certain that they will do well in their first season back in top league.
-
I wish him well and hope he helps Monaco achieve champions league football.
-
Just a few more days and this will be official. The press conference is going to be one enjoyable watch.
-
Yes that adjustment factor of playing in a different league won't be there so the chances of them succeeding will probably be greater than perhaps moving to a different league. Also I am pretty sure they are going to be paid way way more so the combination of having both these luxuries is quite rare.
