  1. Backing off Ighalo - arguably the most in-form striker in the league right now. Duh!
  2. The most ridiculous thing about Oscar is that he's been here for 3 1/2 years and you can count the actual top performances he's had on one hand, if not two at most. His inconsistency is so infuriating and I don't want to be mean about this but he seems to be doing the business more with his family than for the team!
  3. Matic clearly isn't playing for Hiddink. Rat!
  4. Deservedly so. And so much for people thinking Oscar's performance last week was down to the sacking of Mourinho. Still the same old crap under a new manager.
  5. I don't necessarily disagree with the point you're trying to make but any instances to what you said there about Oscar being selfish?
  6. Oh god. We just can't string two straight league wins, can we? Our last one was back in May! It's such a frustrating performance, albeit a slightly different one. Still made the same brainfart individual errors (e.g Matic handball - like WTF?! - and Cahill backing of Ighalo - DUH!) but I guess on the bright side, we responded well after going behind. In fact, it's our best response this season when trailing in matches. Showed the hunger and desire to fight for the cause and actually, created chances, some really good chances. The shit part in all of this though is that we're still in the bottom 6, 2 points above the relegation zone. Like seriously, when the hell are we going to get out this?! United and Palace away next for us and I'm not feeling optimistic, even with the former's shit form!

  10. Didier Drogba free to work with Chelsea for now – but Montreal Impact want him back next year
  11. Looks like he has posted more statements to defend himself than setting up goals on the pitch...
  12. Guus Hiddink warns Chelsea’s under-performing players not to take it easy under his guidance
  13. See the video I posted above - that question about youth players starts from 20:48.

  15. Fair to say Hiddink aced that press conference. Said some very good things. Here are the best bits: Hiddink: "I saw the game on Saturday and they were playing like they enjoyed it very much. Sometimes they even went a bit over the top." Hiddink: "I told my players that things happen in football and that they should all look in the mirror and not to look back too much." Hiddink: "If you don't have a desire to play, then please knock on my door and we will talk briefly." Hiddink: "Didier Drogba is a legend at #Chelsea and also outside this club. It would be nice to connect these people to this club." Hiddink: "The official process [of bringing Didier Drogba back] I do not know. Other people have to deal with that, not me." Hiddink on January signings: "Well, let's look at the next few games and then we will see what happens." Hiddink: "No manager can guarantee three points every week but we have to show that the team has a big desire to wash away this bad spell." Hiddink: "I didn't want to have much information regarding my squad. The players have to show me." Hiddink: "Mathematically it is possible to get into the Top 4, but this is a very competitive league. All the teams can kill each other." Hiddink: "Although back then the players also didn't perform well, but we had Drogba, Lampard, Ballack, Essien. It's difficult to compare." Hiddink: "My players can play. But what I like in my teams is a spine, people who can lead during the game." Hiddink: "I hope the fans will support us. But the fans have the right to express their feelings and it is up to the team to win them back." Hiddink: "I must be convinced of the young players. In general, if they show they are competitive, I'm not against giving them chances."
  16. To be fair, they are going to win it at some point. They can't possibly go on without winning the title with the kind of squad they have. As for this season, the only way that might stop Arsenal from winning the league this season is if United hire Mourinho.
  17. League goals this season: Kalou = 9 Costa + Pedro + Oscar + Willian + Hazard = 9
  18. Even if Arsenal choke up along the way between now and May, can the other teams take advantage of it? No one but Leicester this season have been able to put in any sort of consistent run together and I doubt Leicester will be able to maintain their lofty position at the top of the table.
  19. It's Daily Star for crying out loud.
  20. He may have the right but does he need to do it? Every now and then, you get journalists or pundits claiming the players aren't doing this and that for the team/manager/club but we don't hear them wanting to sue journalists/pundits, do we? Anyway, Nevin later said it was all just a misunderstanding and that he didn't mean to point the finger at Fabregas or anyone else for that matter. And here's his article explaining what happened regarding the situation - http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/12/pat-nevin--it-wasnt-cesc-hes-done-nothing-wrong.html
  21. So, he would rather focus more on taking legal action against someone than trying to get himself back into form? If that story is true, then he's dumb. Focusing on petty matters like that isn't going to help us turn our season around and win the fans back any time soon.
  22. Manchester United consider José Mourinho but remain wary of his antics Jose Mourinho will take time over next move - with Manchester United not the only option
  23. Feeling distraught that @Stingray wasn't the one who started the 'Emenalo Revolution'.
