  1. Chelsea insist John Terry could be offered a new deal - "the club will keep the channels of dialogue open" Back track! Back track!
  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3425473/John-Terry-leave-Chelsea-end-season-club-decide-not-renew-captain-s-contract.html
  3. He's obviously playing politics here really, knowing full well the fans will be behind him. The atmosphere is going to be interesting against United at home next weekend.
  4. On another note, why did Terry have to reveal this after a good day? Couldn't he keep it until the end of the season (or somewhere close to it)?!
  5. Ivanovic and Cahill got a new contract but not Terry. More atrocious decision from the club.
  6. Last two good games - Sunderland and MK Dons...
  7. It's time to record back-to-back league wins!
  8. Wonder where the priorities would be for City... P.S. Doubt we'll be playing City on the 19th, which happens to be a Friday. Likely to be on Saturday, I'd imagine, with City having that trip to Ukraine.
  9. 5th round draw: Chelsea v Man City Reading v West Brom/Peterborough Watford v Leeds United Shrewsbury v Man United Blackburn v Liverpool/West Ham Tottenham v Crystal Palace Arsenal v Hull Bournemouth v Everton
  10. Southampton put 6 past this lot in September. We only scored 5. Diabolical performance!
  11. He's already played quite a few games since his return and I doubt his confidence is low. We're on a decent run anyway.
  12. Don't understand the need to play Courtois. Should have started with Begovic.

  15. http://www.thefa.com/news/the-fa-cup/2016/jan/fifth-round-proper-draw-280116 FA Cup 5th round draw at 6.15pm UK time today, meaning it will take place just after this match.
  16. For the record, I did not photoshop that.
  17. That can't be used as an excuse. Even without Kompany, Pellegrini still has some good defenders in his squad. Should be doing better and if he's really good, he would have ensured his team is defensively well drilled and competent at both ends of the pitch.
  18. You speak as if the good/great managers don't go through some dodgy periods in their career. Mourinho, Fergie etc had them before and by the way, even Simeone experienced it during his time in Argentina. And I wouldn't necesarily say Allegri had a mediocre spell at Milan. Won the league title and did the best he could with the politics that go on at that club.
  19. If it's between Conte and Allegri, I would pick the latter. Allegri is more versatile tactically and less intense than Conte, in the sense that he's cool headed and more calm.
