Not everyone is purely interested in money...

Not believing it for one second but IF we do go after Laurent Blanc, heads need to roll at board level. Hell, there should be a proper protest at Stamford Bridge. No one seems capable of making a decisive, well informed, swift decision and no one seems to have any direction of what to do either. How long can we really tolerate this inadequacy? Even our best players have started to lose patience! Said in a previous post, it has been 1 1/2 weeks since our season ended and we are still trying to sort our manager situation. Do we want to keep Conte or sack him and go after Sarri? What exactly do we want? It is so frustrating to see the other sides - Liverpool, City, United and hell, even Arsenal - start making signings or close in on players while we are trying to penny pinch (fucking penny pinching!) over 8 million (EIGHT!)! Do the board even realize we basically have only 2 months to prepare for next season? And that's without mentioning the distraction of World Cup in that period. Nothing good lasts forever but the way the club have operated in the last 5 years in comparison to the 5-8 years before that has been diabolical.

I know Morata wasn't faultless last season but I don't even think Conte is getting the sack because of his misses or bad results for that matter. Unless my memory has failed me completely and though Morata had shocking misses, they were kinda sporadic. We hardly create many clear chances in a game to begin with, never mind creating for Morata to miss them! Conte getting the boot has more to do with his negative tactics, bad team selections - both of which hampered our chances of winning games (remember Man City away etc?) - and constant moans about the board. If he had actually done his job and tried to get his best out of what he's got, which he certainly didn't in 2018, but still came up short due to other factors, then I don't think we'll be sitting here and talking about a new manager coming in.

Looking forward to the Fabinho v Bakayoko comparisons next season...

This whole situation is becoming a farce. Are we going to sack Conte or not? If so, do we want Sarri or someone else? It has been 1 1/2 weeks since the end of our season and we're still trying to sort out this manager mess while other teams have already started working on getting transfers done. The lack of authority and decisiveness from the board is absolutely embarrassing for one of the top clubs in the world.

Did some minor tweaks to the Player Database forum - (1) moved 'Reserves & Youth Teams' to the section and (2) added 'Chelsea FC Women' to allow more detailed threads/discussions on the Women's game (I've moved the current 'Chelsea FC Women' thread to there).

If Sarri doesn't play Azpi, we riot.

Bale's heroics tonight has probably thrown a spanner in the works for Zidane & Perez. His value has risen thanks to that cameo, for sure. If they have any brains, they should sell Ronaldo and just keep Bale.

It's the perfect time to do so. Think there's more to it than another pay rise Wonder how desperate do Real want to keep him. He's already 33 and although he has a solid 2018, his form in the first half of the season suggests he's slowly going downhill, if not already. Might sell him and keep Bale instead. Can't see them losing both this summer.

Ok. I expect them to go all in for him, if Ronaldo isn't bluffing. Is Ronaldo actually even going to leave? I swear he pulls off this trick every year to get a big contract from Real.

Was talking about backup options. Beyond Napoli's starting XI, what else have they got really? Not saying we have great quality in reserves but we have a tad more squad depth than them.
