  1. Never mind the shit defending, I want to know what the hell do coaching staff and players do, attacking wise, in training? Because this whole crossing plan is just stupid and has become far too predictable. It is just giving the ball to James to cross it in and hope Abraham or Pulisic convert it. This is so Sam Allardyce or Tony Pulis-esque football. Seriously, WTF!? If this is the best plan Lampard can come up with, then I kinda wonder did he manage to persuade Ziyech and Werner to join because our attacking play has generally become very dull of late.
  2. As if watching our defending isn't bad enough, the attacking play is equally hopeless as well. It's just endless amount of passing and then the moves amount to nothing more putting hopeful crosses. No combination plays, no 1-2s, nothing. Not even trying anything different.
  3. The more I watch this team defend, the more I am edging towards "SACK THE COACHING STAFF!"...
  4. Like I said before, our best hope of qualifying for the Champions League will depend on what happen with Man City's European ban appeal...
  5. It's from The Sun though.
  6. People who do not watch us/Willian play on a weekly basis shouldn't be taken seriously.
  7. Van Dijk and Oxlade-Chamberlain rejected us because of our instability, the fact that we keep on changing managers. The same can't be said about Liverpool. So we paid the price of our constant hiring and firing of managers. Furthermore, I am not sure if Conte even got in contact with Van Dijk to persuade him to join us, like what Lampard did with Ziyech and Werner.
  8. Allegri in line to replace Conte if he and Inter decide to part ways.
  9. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/frank-lampard-backs-youngster-billy-22337420 Lampard said Gilmour suffered a tear of his meniscus in his knee.
  10. One hopes that maybe Gilmour and coaching staff thought it was just a minor knock and that he could continue playing. Otherwise, it's a serious negligence shown in this situation.
  11. What anti-competitive laws are you talking about? I am no expert in law or the FFP but FFP is there to basically restrict clubs from spending money in uncontrollable manner (duh!) and ensure clubs spend within their means etc. Several clubs over the years have already been punished by UEFA for breaking the FFP rules. AC Milan got banned from Europe last year, for example. So, it's not like the FFP is just for show. Acquired legally or not, City tampered with their accounts to get around the FFP rules. If their ban gets overturned completely, hell is gonna come for UEFA.
  12. Lampard's full quotes on Gilmour earlier today... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jul/10/tammy-abraham-activates-one-year-chelsea-contract-extension
  13. How many % of those people have been influenced by his recent form? Maybe I'm missing something here but how come a deal of 2 years + 1 year as an option has not been mentioned? If Willian does stay on, I'd wager if he might influence our transfer purchases *coughkaicoughhavertzcough* and may well block the path of CHO on that RW.
  14. City may have a case in that the evidence was gathered illegally but can they prove what they did was within the rules? Would like to think when UEFA opened their investigation, they didn't just rely on the evidence from the hack. They would have done their investigation on City's finances etc to back them up. It will create a lot of problems for UEFA if City were not punished at all. What's then stopping other clubs from doing the same and using this case as a precedent to avoid being punished? At worst, they should get a 1 year ban plus whatever fine to their finance etc.
