Did Krul even make a lot of stunning saves? Apart from that Pulisic shot in the first half, all the other saves he had to make was pretty normal and what you would expect from a keeper, as far as I remember. I don't know why you are here blowing your trumpet over this. Yes, we created chances and didn't put them away except for one but it's Norwich, they have the worst defence in the league. That aside, our overall play was slow, pedestrian and even predictable. Even Lampard admitted it after the match.

Sheffield United are a good side, losing to them can happen although the manner of the loss stinks. If anything, it's the defeats against West Ham (twice!), Bournemouth (plus that stupid 2-2 draw), Newcastle etc that could well cost us. Would have been home and dry by now had we picked up even only half of the points available from those games.

When I said Pulisic can do defending better than Hazard, I don't mean he has to start tracking all the way back to our defensive box of course. Last thing we need is for him to spend all his energy doing that and be dead on his feet when arriving in the attacking third. It's just the little things like pressing from front (having played for Dortmund obviously helps), putting challenges in, getting stuck in.

Still can't believe that Lampard had Batshuayi ahead of Giroud earlier this season. Am pretty sure we wouldn't have dropped so many points against the lesser sides had Lampard played Giroud instead of Batshuayi.

For all the comparison between Pulisic and Hazard, there is one thing the former does that the latter doesn't. Defending. Pulisic might not be great at it (yet?) but he certainly is willing to get stuck in and help the team defend.

I would be very, very surprised if Pedro starts at all between now and end of the season. Given Pedro already signed for Roma, am sure the only reason we wanted him to stay was to cover for any potential injuries.

Plenty of our defensive combinations have had games this season where they kept the opposition out completely and then looked like clowns in other games. So until we see some actual consistency, I wouldn't praise them just yet, especially when it was only against Norwich today.

True but the one issue is we have Liverpool 3 days after the semi-final and depending on the results over the next 2 days, we may need a result at Anfield. Does this team still have enough left in the tank to play 3 very tough games in 7 days against United, Liverpool and Wolves?

Can't believe am having to ask this question but which would qualify as a success this season? Finish in Top 4 but fail to win the FA Cup OR Win the FA Cup but fail to finish in the Top 4 I know people will say "why not both?" but just between those two choices, which would you consider?

Getting the 3 points is all that matters at this point of the season but good god, we were lucky that it was Norwich. Would have lost if it was any half decent side. The performance certainly doesn't fill one with confidence at all for the remaining games.

But what about the tempo, the speed of play? We're playing the bottom side and an already relegated side but can't get going at all.
