Was that even a proper chance? It's almost criminal that we are putting in crosses and expecting Pulisic, who is only 1.73m tall to be putting away headers.

If he plays that consistently, then we'll talk. Otherwise, playing it once means zilch because every player has their day with a spectacular goal or assist.

Said this several times before and I will say it again, the defensive problems will be Lampard's downfall as a manager - and at the club - if he doesn't get a grip with it FAST. That our defenders are bad, is obvious by now but our defensive issues have happened far too often this season to be just "it's because of the players". We obviously need a quality center back or two but that won't matter one bit if the defensive coaching continues to be non-existent. It will just paper over the "cracks" shown by the coaching staff.

Havertz made 53 Key Passes in the Bundesliga this season, which is only 9 more than Mount.

Barkley and Jorginho, yes. Mount? Not according to the stats. Of all our midfielders in the league this season, Mount has the most Key Passes - 44. That is 17 higher than the next player, Kante (27). Then it's Kovacic (25) and Jorginho and Barkley (20 each).

No. Barkley is just shit. Period. Injuries haven't helped but things started to go shit because Lampard couldn't help himself and decided to tinker with the midfield. Things were working with Jorginho-Mount-Kovacic earlier this season. Might not be the most secured midfielder around but at least the attacking play was decent. Now, it's neither here nor there and our attacking play basically resembles football from Sam Allardyce or Tony Pulis.
