  1. You can't expect average teams to score in every game. But agree to disagree. 😆
  2. In general, it's not terrible and like I said, it's also Arsenal with their current state. It's not surprising we are seeing those numbers. Different case if we're talking about us, Liverpool or Man City.
  3. That's what happens when the club only care about business and have no one with a football brain at board level. This is also what happens when you have one figure controlling the club from top to bottom for so long and then stepping down.
  4. Isn't it ironic that the media criticize United for sticking with an incompetent manager for so long and at the same time, would always quickly criticize Roman for not giving managers who are incompetent time to succeed?
  5. That was 2 seasons ago and it was at our bogey ground Goodison Park. We always find a way to lose there.
  6. I wasn't talking about the breakdown of the goals. I just meant games wise, scoring in 7 out of 12 games is not terrible. On top of that, it's Arsenal and they can't be compared to those sides you mentioned there. They aren't WOW offensively and it's not that surprising that they have scored in just over half of their league games.
  7. Stats wise, scoring in 7 games out of 12 is hardly a disaster as the commentators made out to be.
  8. Would also add to Pizy's initial point is a tad flawed since it also depends on players' form and maybe even the opponent. Too often our players' form have fluctuated and Leicester were also broken by the time we made the subs today. As for Lukaku, won't be surprised if Tuchel just shoehorns him into the XI on Tuesday or next Sunday.
  9. Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2021/22 Premier League Matchday 12 28th November, Sunday 2021 Stamford Bridge 16:30 Kick Off (UK time)
  10. Throw Lukaku into the mix and it would probably become a different story. 👀
  11. That was less stressful than the last two games after the international break this season.
  12. That is not really accurate. People seem to have forgotten that Pulisic was actually healthy and available for more than half of last season (from December onward) and even then, he couldn't nail down a starting spot because of his own inconsistency, turning up in only about 2 CL games or whenever our league opponent happens to be Crystal Palace. His own injury problem is just an additional obstacle, on top of his own inconsistency, in his way to stake a claim in the XI.
  13. Any news linking Barcelona with players should be highly ignored. They are broke.
  14. Doubt we gain anything much, if any at all, from our matches being broadcasted more - if that's the case - in the US. Might be wrong but don't recall that anything like that gets mentioned specifically whenever we see the news about PL broadcasting revenue. Also, how can we quantify Pulisic's impact in the US for the club? How many are actually already lifelong Chelsea fans anyway and having Pulisic is just an added bonus, how many are actually only following the club because of Pulisic (like we some times see on the internet) etc? Would be nice if there's any actual sort of data to see how much on impact the club has made in the US after signing Pulisic because right now, we're just saying he "does" this and that with no evidence to back it up.
  15. Well, next summer is crunch time. He would have only two years left on his contract. So, either we'll extend the contract or we'll look to sell him. Is there any proof that he's actually bringing us profit in terms of marketing revenues? IIRC, he sells a lot of shirts in the US (or that might have been the USMNT one) but not sure that amounts to much and apart from that, I also don't see us acquiring a flow of US based sponsors etc or trying to advertise him everywhere in the US. Moreover, if he's getting injured more often than not, would he even attract sponsors? Yeah but if he's fit, like in the second half of last season, he'll complain about the lack of game time, again like he did towards the end of last season.
  16. By narrative, I meant those outside of United talking about Sancho. It's clear Solskjaer is a clueless manager.
  17. Gotta say, I find this narrative that because Solskjaer is suddenly using the back 3, Sancho doesn't have a place in the system somewhat amusing. Maybe some players are different but Conte and Tuchel turned our wingers/wide players into narrow forwards/no.10s and made it work in the back 3 system. Or even when they aren't playing that way in the back 3 setup, the players would play like wingers and stretch the play while the wing backs are the ones going infield to join the attack etc.
  18. Are Norwich already planning for life back in the Championship? Hiring Lampard would be an interesting appointment but it would also feel like a disaster waiting to happen, if Norwich are serious about trying to stay in the Premier League. Unless somehow Lampard has mastered the art of organizing a defence, what exactly would he bring that Daniel Farke did not? Under Farke, they could barely score a goal and were conceding goals for fun. Maybe Lampard might make them score more goals somehow but can he keep them tight at the back after what we saw at Derby and Chelsea with him? On top of that, he also doesn't have any experience in fighting against relegation and teams around Norwich at the bottom of the league all have experienced managers at the helm.
  19. No need to start calling people names just because they have different views from you.
  20. Was just gonna say the same thing. All good that we're trying to make it work while we're still in the season but the conversation will be a different one altogether next summer. We're already stacked in midfield - even without him - and there's still Gallagher and Gilmour to return.
  21. @LAM09 Since you questioned why Tuchel didn't start Pulisic against Burnley... https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2021/11/07/tuchel-on-monitoring-pulisic-s-national-team-involvement-and-hop ‘Christian still feels a little bit of pain but of course...It’s a matter of managing the pain in his ankle, not a matter of a reinjury or anything like that. It’s just that things are still a bit painful for him.'
