  1. Again, I meant whipping in behind the defenders, like his goal in midweek. In any case, I don't really disagree with your point why he started today.
  2. I singled out Sarri because Nikki was fangirling over him...again. Sarri did win the Serie A with Juventus but at the same time, it was hardly convincing at all and Juventus have been on a steady decline in recent years. No surprise that Pirlo failed since it was his first managerial job and of course, Allegri now has no Ronaldo and has to, I guess, rebuild Juventus from the mess of their own making.
  3. My point is putting balls in from either side into the six-yard area for a tap-in or even a header etc but the execution wasn't there.
  4. Never said the others had a positive impact. It's not always just about getting chances, is it? What about the overall flow of the game? And if the argument was that Lukaku just came back from injury and had only 10 minutes, fine. What about Werner then? It was his first start in weeks and he had played only 10-15 minutes since coming back from injury. Not defending him at all but Tuchel just said it as much.
  5. Not defending Werner at all but United's setup was completely different to Juventus', no? The former had like 3 defensive midfielders in front of the back 4 while the latter didn't really have one and so many of the other in-form players didn't even turn up today compared to Tuesday. My guess with Werner starting is Tuchel wanted someone in the box to finish any chances (the finishing bit is another debate altogether lol) that fall in the box (bit like his goal in midweek) but of course, we didn't really create too many and even when we did, we spurned them.
  6. Did I even say they had a positive impact? My point about Lukaku to begin with is people keep thinking he's our problem solver when that hasn't really been the case.
  7. Had they scored, we would be throwing things out of the window right now...
  8. How is it really an agenda? Lukaku was brought on to have a positive impact on the game and help us get the winner but it ended up having the opposite impact instead.
  9. As much as Jorginho fucked up for the goal, I have no idea why we had only one player back to defend against United's counter-attack in that situation. United were always looking to play on the break and pounce on any mistake and we opened the door for them.
  10. We were pushing for the winner and putting them under the cosh. But after he came on, we lost the momentum and suddenly United were able to drive up the field and waste time etc.
  11. The irony of people wanting Lukaku to come on is that our momentum went out of the window after he came on.
  12. Tuchel at HOME vs Man United: 4 games 0 wins 2 draws 2 losses Tuchel AWAY vs Man United: 2 games 2 wins
  13. West Ham 3-2 Chelsea PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2021/22 Premier League Matchday 15 4th December, Saturday 2021 London Stadium 12:30 Kick Off (UK time)
  14. As I said, he did play on the left in the first leg against Atletico and Porto but not the other games. lol Okay...
  15. Never said it wasn't the case with Pirlo.
  16. Name me one player in the team right now who has scored consistently against top teams. You need to go watch back our CL run. Excluding the group stage, he only played on the left in the first leg against Atletico and Porto. The rest was in the central striker role, where he was much better/had good games.
  17. Sarri had Ronaldo to bail him out of matches...
  18. Imagine if they move it to the Middle East...
  19. Tuchel already said Lukaku is very unlikely to start and implied that he's still short of match fitness. My guess is that Havertz will start (although he had minor hamstring injury this past week). If not, Werner unless Tuchel wants to go with Pulisic upfront again or risk throwing our rhythm out of the window by starting Lukaku. Are people really still going on about the heavy touches? Jesus fucking Christ! Do people think the players don't work their shortcomings in training? Unsure finish? Yes, Havertz and Lukaku have been banging in the goals, haven't they? They haven't missed chances, have they? Tap-in or not, is it still not a goal? He just scored against Juventus in midweek. He also managed to score against Spurs last season (before they went shit) as well as West Ham and would have also gotten a goal at Anfield if it wasn't for stupid offside call. Furthermore, you're talking about a player who has played his part in helping us win big matches before, having contributed some vital assists. So while he may not have been scoring goals regularly, he isn't completely useless like you're making him out to be and by now, it should be obvious that we don't just create chances for the striker with the way we play.
  20. 5 of those players there are sponsored by Nike (6 if including the club), just like Chiesa himself. He also followed a bunch of other Nike sponsored athletes like Lewandowski, Dybala and Kimmich.
  21. At least ONE of Italy or Portugal won't make it to the World Cup...
  22. The consultancy role would probably be Rangnick leading the charge of appointing the next manager and shape their squad building.
  23. Tuchel just said what Matt Law reported about Chilwell. He has a partial injury on his ACL and will decide in 6 weeks if he needs to have surgery. Tuchel also said Chilwell has had a positive reaction to his first treatment.
  24. He won't be in charge of the game due to work permit issues. His first game will be against Arsenal next midweek.
