  1. What struck me with Loftus-Cheek yesterday was he struggled to impose himself because United didn't give him the space to bulldoze his way through like he usually does and they also had like 3 defensive midfielders who were able to match him physically. Coupled that with the fact he's not the most creative player on the ball, then it becomes a bit of an issue. Kovacic would certainly have provided a bit more creativity and guile.
  2. What rumors? I see a lot from Germany are saying that Dortmund will likely sign Adeyemi. On top of that, him making the jump from the Austrian Bundesliga to the Premier League is big and a risk. But in any case, are we sure that the attackers we buy in the future won't suddenly look a shadow of their former selves? 😆 Tuchel: "If Romelu's fully fit, he's a starter for us"
  3. Are you blind? I was just pointing out the facts.
  4. I meant after he came on. But whatever. What's done is done...
  5. Again, I meant whipping in behind the defenders, like his goal in midweek. In any case, I don't really disagree with your point why he started today.
  6. I singled out Sarri because Nikki was fangirling over him...again. Sarri did win the Serie A with Juventus but at the same time, it was hardly convincing at all and Juventus have been on a steady decline in recent years. No surprise that Pirlo failed since it was his first managerial job and of course, Allegri now has no Ronaldo and has to, I guess, rebuild Juventus from the mess of their own making.
  7. My point is putting balls in from either side into the six-yard area for a tap-in or even a header etc but the execution wasn't there.
  8. Never said the others had a positive impact. It's not always just about getting chances, is it? What about the overall flow of the game? And if the argument was that Lukaku just came back from injury and had only 10 minutes, fine. What about Werner then? It was his first start in weeks and he had played only 10-15 minutes since coming back from injury. Not defending him at all but Tuchel just said it as much.
  9. Not defending Werner at all but United's setup was completely different to Juventus', no? The former had like 3 defensive midfielders in front of the back 4 while the latter didn't really have one and so many of the other in-form players didn't even turn up today compared to Tuesday. My guess with Werner starting is Tuchel wanted someone in the box to finish any chances (the finishing bit is another debate altogether lol) that fall in the box (bit like his goal in midweek) but of course, we didn't really create too many and even when we did, we spurned them.
  10. Did I even say they had a positive impact? My point about Lukaku to begin with is people keep thinking he's our problem solver when that hasn't really been the case.
  11. Had they scored, we would be throwing things out of the window right now...
  12. How is it really an agenda? Lukaku was brought on to have a positive impact on the game and help us get the winner but it ended up having the opposite impact instead.
  13. As much as Jorginho fucked up for the goal, I have no idea why we had only one player back to defend against United's counter-attack in that situation. United were always looking to play on the break and pounce on any mistake and we opened the door for them.
  14. We were pushing for the winner and putting them under the cosh. But after he came on, we lost the momentum and suddenly United were able to drive up the field and waste time etc.
  15. The irony of people wanting Lukaku to come on is that our momentum went out of the window after he came on.
  16. Tuchel at HOME vs Man United: 4 games 0 wins 2 draws 2 losses Tuchel AWAY vs Man United: 2 games 2 wins
  17. West Ham 3-2 Chelsea PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2021/22 Premier League Matchday 15 4th December, Saturday 2021 London Stadium 12:30 Kick Off (UK time)
  18. As I said, he did play on the left in the first leg against Atletico and Porto but not the other games. lol Okay...
  19. Never said it wasn't the case with Pirlo.
  20. Name me one player in the team right now who has scored consistently against top teams. You need to go watch back our CL run. Excluding the group stage, he only played on the left in the first leg against Atletico and Porto. The rest was in the central striker role, where he was much better/had good games.
  21. Sarri had Ronaldo to bail him out of matches...
  22. Don't jinx it, Tomo. Don't. Jinx. It.
  23. Imagine if they move it to the Middle East...
