  1. That is probably a factor but it's not rocket science to know you have to be consistent and not being so fussy with the decisions.
  2. Slightly off topic this... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8136042/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  3. I thought he did alright in the first half. Nothing really went wrong. It's only in the second half where he began to act like a pussy. Never really play advantage and there was even an incident where he blew the whistle because one of the Nordsjaelland player's boot came off and we were in possession then!
  4. He has been and is still one of the best goalkeepers out there today. It's only those bunch of people that ridiculously overreact and say he's a bad keeper whenever he makes a mistake!
  5. Oscar and Luiz once again with the dance. Thank goodness we did not draw the game this time around...
  6. Realized earlier that he was actually somehow in the middle of the penalty box when Mata scored his second goal of the night.
  7. Have to say the referee - Marijo Strahonja - was absolutely terrible in the second half yesterday. Almost every challenges we made on the Nordsjaelland's players, he immediately blew his whistle for a foul. Must have received phone calls from Platini at HT. Some of the decisions were just shocking and they hardly looked like a foul. Take the Mata's first goal and the Moses that was ruled out for instance. Torres brushed off that player and got the ball in the buildup for Mata's goal. Strahonja didn't see it as a foul. And then for the Moses one, he went toe-to-toe with Okore(IIRC) and then he suddenly fell onto the ground when Moses barely even touched him and the referee deemed that as a foul and his goal was ruled out. Utterly pathetic!!
  8. Said before, no thanks. Price way too high for a defender and don't think we need a controversial character like him in the dressing room.
  9. Won't be easy at all this game against Norwich but important to get the 3 points with our next two league games being against Spurs and United.
  10. If that was really the case, then Torres deserved it!
  11. Somebody is indirectly trying to apply for the supposed vacant moderator position.

  13. All the best in your future Ballack! :blue scalf: And as Kieran pointed out, it's a shame that he has never won the Champions League!
  14. Thought RDM got away with playing Ramires and Lampard in the double pivot. If any one of them is gonna play there, a proper DM has to be used beside them be it Mikel or Romeu. At times in the game, Ramires and Lampard wandered too high up the pitch and the amount of space that were left behind in between the lines was huge when the ball got turned over. Without Mikel in there, nobody really got hold of that midfield to keep the ball properly and protect the back four and Nordsjaelland found too much space and time on several occasions, which thankfully for us failed to make their chances count but the warning signs are there!
  15. Has been the case for awhile now. Hate it when both of our FBs are so high up the pitch when our CBs are in possession. They're basically just taking themselves out as a passing option and when that happens, it is where to we start to pass sideways, backwards or see Luiz makes one of his aimless long balls forward.
  16. 4 goals. 4 assists. All in last 4 games.
  17. Well, I meant from the outside. Haven't experienced an injury like that before so I don't know how much pain there is but just looking how he landed and the way it bended, it does looked very painful.
  18. OUCH! That looks excruciatingly painful!
  19. An extremely flattering scoreline and harsh on Nordsjaelland, who played very well. Nonetheless, happy to get the win but the performance was poor for most parts of the game. Must improve ahead of the double headers against Shakhtar. For now, we got the vital 3 points and Juventus drew with Shakhtar. That means we've gone top of the group ahead of Matchday 3. The group standing now looks like this: 1. Chelsea - 4pts (GD +4) 2. Shakhtar Donetsk - 4pts (GD +2) 3. Juventus - 2pts (GD 0) 4. Nordsjaelland - 0pts (GD -6) Matchday 3 Shakhtar Donetsk v Chelsea Nordsjaelland v Juventus.
  20. Expected us to play this way and on the counter against Arsenal but instead, we're doing it against Nordsjaelland...
  21. Ramires and Lampard in the double pivot. Don't like that very much. No proper defensive midfielder. Risky move from RDM. And slightly disappointed that Azpilicueta is not starting tonight. Would have played him tonight & utilize Ivanovic against Norwich.
