  1. He has not been called up by Del Bosque for Spain's 2 upcoming matches. Spain's loss is Chelsea's gain.
  2. Deary me. Was it really necessary for him to do that?!!
  3. Goodness me, he really has such a wide smile.
  4. Precisely. And think he also forget that Liverpool's results against lesser sides tend to be very average too.
  5. Not sure if anyone have come across this but here's what Gerrard said just days ago on haven't being able to win the league title. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpools-steven-gerrard-admits-he-could-1358408 Typical pure delusion by someone from Liverpool.
  6. No. No. No. Don't you know we have a Serbian striker that goes by the name of Branislav Ivanovic??
  7. Just only came across this. Very late on it though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtZMUSTKMW0&feature=plcp His English is reasonably good.
  8. Can already think of 4-5. Evra, Welbeck(both against us last season), Young(against Villa) and the recent one where Welbeck dived against Wigan.
  9. People always say "1-0 lead is always dangerous" and that has certainly proved the case with AVB more often than not in his time here in England.
  10. Thorgan now has a Twitter account -> www.twitter.com/HazardThorgan8.
  11. Buffon maybe but Neuer and Hart? Naah. They maybe good goalkeepers but nowhere near enough Cech's level yet.
  12. Just came across this. Skip to 4:52 and OMG! Look at that smile!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPhAxZIJwjk&feature=relmfu
  13. Really don't see the need to create another Torres thread to discuss the same issues like that. Unless it's a big big news on he's being sold etc, just discuss it in his player thread. Merge!
  14. Even he still has his doubters. It's only because we have 2 strikers now and Torres isn't exactly firing on all cylinders that elevated Sturridge into some god-like/fan-favourite status.
  15. At this rate, I don't think everyone of us is gonna be happy with the strikers that we are gonna get/have in the future.
  16. Yes but if you remember, Chris Hughton got a draw last time he visited the Bridge in the FA Cup last season with his Birmingham side. Forget the circumstances we had under AVB then, we really struggled to break them down that day because of their defensive solidity. Moreover, in our last home game, we took ages to get the goal against Stoke. They defended well and even created some decent chances on the break/set-pieces which we were lucky not to concede on 1-2 occasions. Norwich have some decent players who can cause us problems as they shown against Spurs earlier this season when you're not playing at 100% and focus on the task at hand. Also, you get all this lesser sides raising their game when they play against the big boys. Yeah but they won't play until next Friday, which means they'll have some time off till then with only training on the agenda. And besides, they'll be playing 3-4 days before we face Spurs in two weeks time and that won't make much of a difference even if we were to play those players this Saturday.
  17. There's actually another one November too but that one will just be in midweek rather than having two weeks off like this upcoming one.
  18. Maybe that comparison is a little bit harsh on Ibrahimovic but Mancini's record in Europe has been really poor. Nothing much has changed for him at City so far...
  19. City do not deserve that point at all. Was completely outplayed all night by Dortmund and would have taken all 3 had it not been for the ludicrous penalty decision by the referee. Utterly ridiculous for the ref to give when Subotic(IIRC) was only like 1-2 yards away and he could have hardly moved his hand away. Furthermore, it was ball to hand and not hand to ball FFS!!
  20. Yeah. Heard that the ticket prices were too expensive.
  21. Empty seats can be seen in the home crowd section at the Etihad and Emirates...
  22. Zenit deserved something from the game but came up against an inspired Abbiati. Allegri & Milan would have to thank him for the 3 points.
