Pretty prominent I would imagine and personally, I prefer this forum to CFCNet. While there are some very good members in that forum, the place can be pretty boring and dry. Not much humour and entertainment. In here, there are good members and there are areas to joke and have fun with others. Also, the layout here is much more pleasing and attractive on the eye compared to CFCNet.

Not surprises with the squad selection there. Have said it several times before, we must win this competition. Not the biggest of competitions but it's not often a team can get to participate in the CWC. Can win it for the first time and I will be pissed off if we mess up another chance to win a trophy after what happened in the Community Shield and Super Cup this season. Additionally, winning trophy would help to boost confidence and morale in the squad. Gives the team a sense of winning again and that mentality of doing it as a group. Vital especially for the new and young players.

Martin Atkinson will be officiating this game. We won 2-1 at Arsenal and hammered Spurs 5-1 in the last two times he took charge of our matches.

Funny how Lampard have gone from "No. He can't play in the starting XI because he will leave Mikel and team exposed defensively in the double pivot" to "We need him badly. We need his experience and leadership on the pitch" when results started to go badly for us. Nobody really said that when we were winning games, did they? Forget the price tag for one moment. He has tried to run at 2-3 defenders, taking them on etc but what's probably be missing is the final decisive moment in the attacking third and the lack of options upfront that prevents him to be more clinical.

So? They moved inside and can still slide in through balls for Torres but he hardly even move inside or around the box to provide himself as a passing option! In another situation, when a cross comes in from the flanks, you will usually see Torres moving in the opposite direction of the cross. If it comes to the near post, he backs off towards the far post and vice versa. If not, he will just stick to this center and like his foot has roots planted into the ground!

For anyone that likes the clean sheet stats... 1. Chelsea have kept 6 clean sheets in 14 Premier League matches this season. Took them 22 league matches last season to achieve that. 2. Chelsea, Man City and Stoke City have kept the most clean sheets after 14 Premier League games this season - 6.

But then we finished runners up in the Premier League, League Cup and Champions League as well as crashing out of the FA Cup against Barnsley(!) in the quarter finals..

Seems that if Oscar(or Mata or Hazard or anyone else) doesn't score some 30-40 yard goals or tear up the opposition defences, people will immediately regard them as useless, bad player or any negative comments they can think of. Typical.

Just watch Allardyce setting up his team to go physical on us and exploit the lack of physicality in our team. Don't think we're gonna win this game judging by how things have gone recently. We need to win every match but rotation is still vital. And lets forget that Mikel will be going off for the AFCON in January and Romeu will need some game time to find his form so that he can do a good job for us when Mikel is away.
