Did what we could but sadly, it wasn't enough. Ultimately, we only have ourselves to blame. Threw away that 2-0 lead against Juventus and making defensive mistakes after mistakes in the group. Had we seen that home game out against Juventus or concede 1 goal less at home against Shakhtar, we would have gone through. Small and fine margins but we paid a heavy price. Just hope the win will help to raise morale and boost some confidence in the team.

Over in Ukraine, Shakhtar only have 1 shot while Juventus have had 7 in that first half.

Unfortunately judging by what Torres said yesterday, he doesn't seem to realize that. If he knows what is good for him, then he should look to leave but no. He's just a delusional fool at the moment.

Only saying that based on our recent form. On paper, we should beat them comfortably but going by recent form, it's not 100% certain. That's my point!

We were lucky to even win that game. Had Cech not made some great saves and Luiz not scored that 2nd goal, we could have easily gone on to concede and pick up only 1 point. Judging by our recent performances and results, I don't think it's out of the question that we might not even beat Nordsjaelland especially when you consider that we have struggled against some of the minnows in recent years - Cluj, Zilina and APOEL - despite the 2 matches against the latter 2 being dead rubbers.

We are not an average team like Liverpool but we can play poorly and not beat Nordsjaelland...

Think I have prepared for the worst possible scenario tonight, I think and I hope. Also while we are desperately hoping for Shakhtar to beat Juventus, the biggest question here should probably be 'Can we even beat Nordsjaelland at home?!'..

It is farcical that Benitez is practically blaming almost the entire team for our problems except Torres and now praising him for his defending?! Really?!

With Benitez around, I'm not too confident. For starters, the crowd at the Bridge tonight could start cheering on the team and not abuse Benitez. A flat and/or another toxic atmosphere tonight is not gonna help the players.

But if we don't beat Nordsjaelland...?

Absolutely embarrassing after reading what he said. Forever talking rubbish off the pitch and not backing his words on it. The fact is he is now a cancer to the club and needs to go. One of the most, if not the most atrocious player we have in the team in recent years!

Manchester City have won just 3 of their 12 Champions League matches - W3 D4 L5. 3. 2 of those wins came against Villarreal that were relegated from La Liga last season while the other was against an already qualified Bayern on Matchday 6. 4. Other than that, Manchester City took only 1 point from 6 in matches against Napoli, Real Madrid, Dortmund and Ajax. They finished bottom of the group with just 3 points and they are pretty much lucky to even have 3 points after being outplayed by Madrid and Dortmund at the Etihad. Absolutely dreadful for a team that had spent so much on buying quality players.
