Newcastle just won their first game in awhile on Tuesday and will be boosted by their recent signings as well. Not exactly looking forward to this. On the slight positive note, at least Ba should be starting this one.

Regarding bringing on Terry, he could have come on and we might not have conceded or might still. No guarantee that we'll see the game out even with him but the point here is, are we really that pathetic till the point we can't even see out the game with the players we had out there last night?! They are not babies for goodness sake and expect Terry to guide them every single time. Up till they scored their first goal, we were doing well. Reading barely had a shot all game and suddenly 2 lapses of concentration cost us the game. What was Ivanovic AND Cahill doing for the first goal?! Le Fondre was making the run in front of them, IN FRONT OF THEM and neither tracked him. Instead, they were ball watching. OR maybe they fancied Akpan! As for the second goal, deary me, that was just abysmal defending! 3-4 Reading playesr left unmarked at the back and no one was picking them out! Madness! These are all simple basic defending and yet somehow the players we had out there managed to screw it up!!

Meireles was hardly a pointless signing. Helped us to win the Champions League last season and was a decent player enough to do a job for us whenever called upon. And we could do with having him right now.

THIS! Feel players have to primarily be blamed for this one! Was dealing with Reading well all game long but never take our chances and lapses in concentration costs us!

He never scores 1 v 1 chances/tap-ins but only 30-35 yard goals, the opposite of Hernandez. Had he converted the chances he got, we would have won 3/4-0.
