  2. Yes I know that but perhaps people may have taken this 'we must be realistic/patient' thing a tad too far. Like I said, nobody expects him to score and/or assist in every game but just produce that little bit more in the final third. Don't think that is excessive expectation by any means.
  3. To make it safer, you should just put @Stingray, in the ignore list. Save yourself from his awful GIFs.
  4. Why does it have to be one thing or the other? Nobody is asking Willian to score goals and produce assists in every game but we only want to see more end product from him. He's already great defensively but average offensively. Is it even wrong to suggest we want that tad more consistency and/or Willian to have that balance defensively and offensively? Right now, one can argue that we are struggling offensively because Willian, as one of the 3 AMs behind the ST, is not contributing enough from his part. Lower or low, I don't think it would make any difference anyway but point taken.

  7. I don't see how fans would have considerably lowered their expectations for Willian if we got him for £25m. A difference £5m is hardly massive and even then, £25m on its own is still a big price to pay for and Willian certainly should be doing more in the offensive third than what he has done so far, especially when we know of his qualities (price tag aside). If we had only got Willian for £5m, then you might have a strong case of fans having low expectations on him but £25m? Not a chance.
  8. Careful Barbara...those Torres fangirls would jump in and bite..
  9. Supposed he's giving the media a 'F*ck You!' treatment after they blow things out of proportion with his comments on Wenger..
  10. I know what you are trying to point out here but isn't this like a little bit too quick to talk about who our next manager should be? I mean this is only Mourinho's first season back in charge at the club but here you are already talking about this?! Blimey!
  11. Probably because Mourinho wanted to take a break from it. He has always moaned to Steve Adkins, our PR officer, in press conferences about doing interviews with Chelsea TV.
  12. Nothing. Said there is no team news because the team only arrived back at 6am on Thursday UK time and didn't train yesterday as well as today (he's likely to be talking BS about not training today). Can watch the full presser below.. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1dtn4s_mourinho-press-conference-before-fulham-match_sport

  14. That practically goes out of the window when the game starts. Regardless of whether they good or bad now, as I said, they'll somehow still turn up even when their form is horrendous, like now. Has happened in the past and won't be a surprise if it happens again. And besides, having just played 2 days in Turkey and Fulham have a week off to prepare, this could well be an advantage for them.

  16. Erm, not as good as your two previous ones. The standard is dropping Alex.
  17. Mourinho's press conference today will start at a later time..3pm UK time to be specific.
  18. TBF, think Pellegrini used Kolarov on the LW also because he wanted him to bomb forward with his pace and whip in those crosses on the counter but didn't happen at all with Barcelona not committing men forward and their FBs were conservative and stayed at home and thus there were no space to break into for them. Also, I'm not sure if having Nasri on the LW would necessarily keep Alves busy because the former will always be drifiting inside anyway and I don't think Alves will be marking him all the way. Nasri drifting inside would only encourage Alves to bomb forward more (similar to when we played City in the league at the Etihad, Ivanovic was able to get forward unmarked for the goal because Silva played on his flank then, already drifted inside and was nowhere to be found when we hit them on the break) rather than keep him occupied.
  19. I wouldn't be so sure about that (would rather face Cardiff if we have to). Fulham, especially under Martin Jol, have always been poor-average side or horribly out of form but forever turning up against us and as Alex has mentioned earlier, with this being a derby and their first home game under a new manager, it's going to be a tricky one.
