  3. I heard the interview myself and not wanting to glorify here but I would never post fake quotes like some have here.
  4. He did for Sky Sports with Geoff Shreeves. No reason for me to create a fake quote!
  5. Have watched the equalising goal again. The defending was quite pathetic. Schurrle and Ivanovic caught ball watching and failed to track Milner and Lampard respectively. To make matters worse, it's another goal that we've conceded from our right hand side - Arfield, Naismith, Terry OG and now this. Concerning and becoming more annoying! And just to throw in a comment Mourinho made on Lampard's goal after the game: Schurrle scored a goal that Ramires may not have and he made a mistake Ramires may not have.
  6. A point at the Etihad is by no means a disaster as I would've taken it from the start. But with City going down to 10 men and us taking the lead, we really should have seen it out. To drop the points like that especially with such horrible defending to allow Lampard ghost into the area unmarked is just criminal. I really don't know what to make of this. Just feels so wrong.
  7. Think Henrique has got his hands full here if he wants to retain the 'Most Controversial Member' award next year... Using individual awards like the PFA Player of the Year and/or Football Writer to judge whether a player is better than the other is absolutely nonsensical, when half, if not 3-quarter of the time it is based on biasness/favoritism. But if you really want to use that, then for starters, Hazard won the Young PFA Player of the Year award last season and heck, he even won that twice in France and the Ligue 1 Player of the Year there too! Moreover, using goal statistics to compare players is flawed. It's like saying Courtois or Cech is a shit goalkeeper because they can't keep clean sheets when half of the time, it's because of the crappy defending in front of them that caused it. And PSG aren't willing to pay world record money? I'm sure had they not got fined by UEFA for breaking the Financial Fair Play rules, they would have attempted to do so. Funny you brought Ribery into the equation when he himself hasn't exactly been a goalscorer in his career. In fact, if you look through his stats, the number of goals he has scored would probably be the same for Hazard for the rest of his career. And only ONCE in Ribery's entire career that he has scored 20 goals in a season.
  8. Fabregas on getting ignored by Wenger and getting respected by Mourinho
  9. That Rodriguez goal and first one from Hernandez. Utterly magnificent!
  10. at Liverpool. The more silly goals they concede, the more idiotic and hilarious Rodgers' notion of defending is easy become.
  11. Man City and Chelsea's matchup will be determined in the midfield
  12. Jose Mourinho stokes up row with Manchester City by claiming clubs must be docked points for failing FFP
  13. No. Pellegrini said he HOPE Dzeko will be okay to face us.. http://www.espnfc.com/manchester-city/story/2044514/edin-dzeko-injury-doubt-manchester-city-chelsea-premier-league
  14. Doubtful because of a back problem. If he's out, City would then only have one ST available in Aguero as Jovetic is currently out with a hamstring injury.
  15. Yes, I understand that but still shouldn't risk a player who's got a hamstring injury. He admitted himself especially after it backfired horrendously.
  16. About his hamstring problem, someone needs to send a 'thank you message' to Simeone...
  17. Think the more accurate description is defend and counter attack or just counter attack because the setup within that is self-explanatory. Really though, that approach is totally different from 'park the bus'. 'Parking the bus' is basically just putting 10 or even 11 men behind the ball with no intention of scoring or even going forward, which was what West Ham did to us at the Bridge last season. And we didn't do that at City, Arsenal or United, like some others have claimed.
  18. Yeah but you said he should have stopped one of the goals we conceded and I asked which one and I haven't got a reply on that yet...
  19. http://www.chelseafc.com/videos/fnl-free-to-view.html?extcmp=FANCLUB_FC_FTV_SCHURRLE_WEB_SUP1 Schurrle on Friday Night Live today at 6.30pm UK time along with Cudicini and Trevor Nelson.
  20. Funnily enough, both of them are almost neck and neck in those attributes you mentioned. Don't think either of them really have the edge over the other on that.
