On verge of joining Brentford on a four-year deal apparently according to some reports.

Hardly exciting but at least we have signed someone. So, yay.....

On 3 July 2015, Chelsea signed Falcao on a season-long loan deal with the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the season. The move reunited him with his Colombia team-mate Juan Cuadrado and former Atlético Madrid team-mates Diego Costa, Filipe Luís and Thibaut Courtois. Midfielder Mario Pašalić went to Monaco on loan in exchange for Falcao joining Chelsea. Falcao made his debut on 2 August in the 2015 FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium, replacing Loïc Rémy at half time as Chelsea lost 1–0 to rivals Arsenal. Three days after our last pre-season game against Fiorentina. Meh...although I doubt Mourinho will play the full strength XI for that one. First Premier League game on a Friday night - Villa vs Man United on August 14, 7.45pm. That will be new and fun to see.

Well, we still have Salah. At this point, he can't be any worse than Cuadrado.

Cuadrado should probably be given a chance to prove himself but I don't think anyone would really complain if we get rid of him this summer. Maybe I'm just being harsh but he has looked out of his depth everytime he plays for us. Has done nothing to suggest he can cope with the demands of the Premier League - looks weak, poor going forward, suspect defensively, has a tendecy to dive into challenges etc. The game against Everton was probably the only time he looked decent. Otherwise, he has been bad. Like really bad.

We want our players to be the best or at least be amongst the best and it's quite tragic when you see people do this. Oscar - compare with average players like Coutinho (and now Firmino...) and use them as some sort of benchmark to say Oscar is great when he's not. Hazard - compare with the best players in the world like Messi and Ronaldo and use them as a point of reference to say Hazard can get even better even though he's already one of the best. Difference.
