Yes, have you? Because to have the courage to describe the current Fabregas as "creative" is completely inaccurate. I've said this before in this thread: Rudiger and Drinkwater wouldn't fix this clusterfuck. You'd still have wasteful players upfront. You'd still have limited-as-fuck wingbacks. You'd still have brain-fart master Luiz at the back. We're lacking too much quality to blame any coach in charge in my opinion.

Those are 3 average players and 1 great player who is past his prime. It's very easy to nitpick regarding Conte's selections but let's face it: Hazard, Kante, Azpilicueta and to a lesser extent Christensen are the only reliable ones.
-
He has conceded 34 and 40 goals in his 2 seasons in the Bundesliga respectively.
-
We have only one alternative in Rudiger who is good but not great. And Danny wasn't so sharp against the likes of Norwich and Newcastle, I don't think he would fix everything. And even if they were excellent players, one injury could fuck up everything for the manager and you're stuck again with the worse players, not to mention the need to rotate at times.

Dropped for who? Let's not pretend we have prime Lamps, Ash, JT and Carvalho on our bench, shall we?
-
I'm sorry but I think nothing is similar to what Mourinho did to De Bruyne. The Mourinho/Mata situation is the one I'd compare this to since both players didn't fit the coach's preferred system/style of play.

That's not how karma is supposed to work. 😂

No updates whatsoever?

And it's even prior to the Bournemouth game!
-
Any academy player is more worthy of that place on the bench. I have never ever seen a team captain who is also its weakest link! This is totally and utterly unacceptable.

We live in a world where Bertrand is forced out of the club while Cahill conquers all. Wasn't Bertrand English enough? I don't get it.
-
Whoever manages us next summer should say goodbye to Cahill. Enough being soft on him just for the sole fact that he's English!
-
To be fair we had Ferriera and Essien as CBs in that game.
-
This goes to show how important Christensen is to our system.
-
I am trying to be happy with him, but I end up in a big pile of indifference. Fingers crossed!

Sums up our board situation this season.

n bigger task." "The award for getting a job done is an even bigger task." 🤔

Okay, perhaps my English failed me and "most judgemental remark" wasn't articulate enough and therefore I should have said "harshest opinion" instead. In addition, I said "might be" while you were deadest on calling me "Another typical Chelsea fan" and yet I'm the hyperbolic one with an assumptive attitude (if you want to talk irony). If you hadn't basically classified me, my attitude would have been less aggressive. I am, however, quite aware of the difference between an opinion and an argument, and my replies to you weren't in response to only those quoted posts in particular but to your bashing of "The Invisible Man" in multiple threads as well. It seemed to me that you were simultaneously presenting an argument whilst stating an opinion. I am also aware that you do not see Hazard poor by any means. The thing is, no matter how much the definition of "world-class" varies among football fans/experts, I think Hazard's qualities and achievements would have to be ignored for anyone to not see him as world-class. Maybe your definition of that term is what a large percentage of fans define "legendary" as. I, for instance, see Hazard as world-class, but certainly not a legend because of the exact same reason you've mentioned regarding his consistency. In my opinion, it is just a linguistic issue that separates the likes of you and I. Have a nice day.
-
If this is true and we get him, then he will have literally fucked his way to join Chelsea.
-
Mystery solved, eh?
-
Oh you had me figured out! The term world-class is debatable, but still there are things to consider here. The main one is the fact he has arguably been our best player post-2012 with qualities almost every expert in the world of football has acknowledged. You saying he isn't world class might be the most judgemental remark I've ever read by a football fan, let alone a Chelsea fan. And you know, even Messi and Ronaldo have bad days. Your argument isn't convincing at all.
-
Oh yes it's insane that he has managed to become our 13th all-time top scorer despite being so mediocre. 🙄 I can understand some unpopular opinions but yours is pushing it.
-
I don't give 2 shits about such records. In 2012/13 we were beaten twice by QPR who eventually got relegated while we finished 3rd. Let's compare both clubs' campaigns when the season actually ends, shall we? For me, I'm more interested in the end game rather than some bullshit moral victory.
-
I've been reading many irrational reactions by Chelsea fans on social media. The one that irritates me the most is saying we should switch back to 4 at the back. Like, can you even stimulate your brain to actually recognize that we don't have the full-backs for that formation? I am 100% behind Conte's tactical choices, but my only criticism would be not trying the same front 3 that worked nicely against Brighton from the beginning.

But ever so often you get gems like this:
